Checking mask type AIR-317 (217)

Operational test

1. External examination of the mask, and lung machine. Remove the mask from the bag, verify its regularity and the correct connection to the lung machine.

2. Check the tightness of the unit and exhalation valve in the discharge. Put on the head of the mask and with the valve closed container to take a breath. If then there is a great resistance, and it is impossible to make the further breath for 2-3 seconds, then it shall be considered that the unit and the valve exhalation sealed.

3. Check of the serviceability of the lung machine and exhalation valve in the work. Without taking off the mask from the face, open shut-off valve cylinder and make 2-3 deep inhalation and exhalation. Resistance when you inhale and exhale feel should not. Hold your breath and listen, there are no air leaks or any noise.

4. Check of the serviceability of signal devices. Close the shut-off valve cylinder. Slowly press the additional air supply lung machine, closely follow the arrow of the gauge. Signalling device must engage at an air pressure of 4.5-5-5,5 MPa.

5. Check the air pressure in the cylinder. Open the valve on the cylinder, look at the pressure gauge and remember pressure. The air pressure in the cylinder air-317 should be not less than 29 MPa, and for air-217 not less than 19 MPa.

Check № 1

4. Check the air pressure in the cylinder. Open the shut-off valve cylinder and look at the gauge. Remember pressure.

5. Check the tightness of high-pressure systems. Close the shut-off valve cylinder. Look at the indicator of the pressure gauge and on the clock observed one minute. Pressure drop in the system of the machine for one minute should not exceed 1 MPa.

6. Check of the serviceability of signal devices. Slowly pressing on the lung machine monitor closely the arrow of the gauge. Signalling device must engage at an air pressure of 4.5-5-5,5 MPa.

Check № 2

1. Cleaning the unit. Is executed after each work in the office for the removal of its units of pollution and for disinfection (washing) of the mask. Special attention should be paid to thorough drying of the respiratory valve masks. Slow drying can lead to stick together petals valve and substantial resistance to breathe. 2. Check the appearance of the machine. Check the absence of mechanical damage on the nodes and the tank of the unit, reliability, and density of all connections, integrity and correctness of the connection of the shoulder and lap belts.

3. Check of the serviceability and control gear. Connect the control pressure gauge connector. Open the shut-off valve cylinder and look at controlling the pressure gauge. The pressure created by the gearbox must be set to 0.65 +0.75 MPa. In addition, there should be no hesitancy of the arrow pressure gauge, which indicates the loose прилегании valve gearbox to the saddle.

4. Check of the serviceability and regulation of the safety valve gearbox. Any tool click on support through the hole in the regulatory nut gear. - at excess pressure. For this it is necessary to create in the cavity of the lung machine gauge pressure 800 PA (80 mm Hg). Look at the clock. Pressure drop must not exceed 50 PA (5 mm Hg.) for 1 minute.

- at discharge. To do this, you must create a discharge in the cavity of the lung machine 800 PA (80 mm Hg). The pressure drop of the discharge shall not exceed 50 PA (5 mm Hg.) for 1 min.

7. Check of the serviceability of the lung machine. Without disconnecting the pulmonary vending machine from реометр-gauge, open the valve cylinder. Slowly create a vacuum in the body of the lung machine, see the реометр-gauge pressure at which starts to work pulmonary machine. Response of the lung machine will be sensitive to hiss of air coming into its cavity. Pressure discharge shall not exceed 300 kPa (30 mm Hg).

For pulmonary machine III-rd type the following checks:

- excessive pressure in the zone of breath,

Turn on the device excess pressure when you open the valve cylinder. The fitting of the lung machine insert the rubber plug from the outlet. Disconnect the реометр-gauge from the atmosphere (spin the wheel of the instrument). On a scale реометр-pressure gauge to determine the pressure, which should be within the range of 320-350 PA (32-35 mm Hg)

- serviceability switch excess pressure.

Remove the switch rod excessive pressure from the Cabinet of lung machine. To connect the реометр-pressure gauge to the atmosphere (loosen the wheel of the instrument). After the installation of fluid at the "0-0", disconnect the system is checked from the atmosphere (spin the wheel of the реометр-gauge). If the pressure in the cavity of the lung machine is not growing, switch excess pressure is considered to be good.

8. Check the tightness of high-pressure systems. Close the shut-off valve cylinder. Look at the indicator of the pressure gauge and on the clock observed one minute. Pressure drop per minute should not exceed 1 MPa.

9. Check the air pressure in the cylinder. Open the shut-off valve cylinder and look at the gauge. The air pressure in the tank should be not less than 29 MPa for air-317 and not less than 19 MPa for air-217.

10. Check the signal devices. Close the cylinder valve. Slowly remove air from the system unit, press the additional air supply lung machine, closely follow the arrow of the gauge. Notice, at any pressure turns on the beep. Sound to start working at a pressure of air 5-6 MPa.
