The first of them stopped conveyor assembly in 2009 and transferred the production of DT-75 tractors to the Volgograd Tractor Company (VTK). The second - PTZ, mass-produced models DT-75M (since 1968), DT-75ML (since the mid-80s), DT-90P, DT-75T and DT-75MLK (all three - from the beginning of the 90s .). In 1998, the Kazakh plant declared bankruptcy.

Device DT-75

The basic version of the caterpillar tractor weighing from 5.5 tons and dimensions 4109.5 × 1740 × 2304 mm was driven by a 4-cylinder diesel engine SMD-14 (75 hp) with a service life of 3 thousand hours. Since the end of the 70s, it has been replaced by an improved version of the SMD-14NG (80 hp). Also, on various modifications of the tractor, engines A-41 (90 hp, model DT-75M), SMD-18N (95 hp, DT-75N), SMD-66 (170 hp, DT -75S), A-41I (94 hp, DT-75D and DT-75T), A-41SI (94 hp, DT-75DE), Belarusian D-245 (105 hp, DT -75ML, DT-75DM and DT-75T), RM-120 and RM-80 and (100 hp and 80 hp, DT-75RM).

The power plant is started using a starting engine. In winter, a pre-heater is used to warm up the diesel engine.

Chassis DT-75 consists of a welded frame (two spars of rectangular cross-section connected by transverse round pipes), on which all components and mechanisms are mounted, rollers with rubber tires, guide and drive wheels, 4 suspension carriages and two caterpillar chains.

Clutch - permanently closed type, 2-disk. The rear axle received two single-stage planetary rotary mechanisms. The brakes are tape, floating type.

To increase traction, the transmission may additionally include:

  • torque booster (UKM, planetary gearbox with friction and roller clutches; gear ratio 1.25);
  • creeper (mechanical gear 4-speed gearbox);
  • reverse gear (single-stage mechanical; forward gear ratio - 1.67; reverse gear - 1.35).

In order to expand the range on the DT-75 tractors, a power take-off shaft (PTO) is used, driven from the UKM drive shaft or creeper.

Gearbox - 4-way (7 forward gears and one reverse), is installed in the front compartment of the body common with the rear axle. On the front wall of the gearbox in a separate housing, a UKM mechanism or a creeper is mounted.

The basic model is equipped with a double all-metal pressurized cabin. The seat is adjustable for height and weight of the driver. Since 1978, the DT-75 has been supplied with a new sprung cab, which is shifted to the right from the central axis of the tractor to improve visibility.

To create comfortable working conditions, a ventilation device is used that supplies purified, cooled and humidified air to the cabin. In winter, the optimal air temperature is provided by a heater of a heater type.

The tractor is equipped with a tow hitch, a rear linkage and a separate-aggregate hydraulic system. Modifications

Model DT-75M. Produced since 1967 at VgTZ and since 1968 at PTZ. Differed from the base model:

  • using the A-41 engine (90 hp);
  • a higher cabin, shifted to the right;
  • extended fuel tank (315 l) located on the left side of the cab.

Model DT-75B. Swamp modification, designed for agricultural work in peat extraction and drained swamps. It has been mass-produced since 1968 at VgTZ. Main differences:

  • engine SMD-14NG (80 hp; 1800 rpm);
  • cabin similar to DT-75M;
  • spars on a welded frame are connected by elongated bars, as a result of which the width of the tractor has increased to 2240 mm, and the track to 1570 mm;
  • track width increased to 670 mm, which made it possible to achieve a specific pressure on the ground of 0.24 kgf / cm2 with lowered guide wheels (longitudinal base - 2365 mm) or 0.33 kgf / cm2 with raised guide wheels (longitudinal base - 1612 mm);
  • front and rear pallets were added to the design to protect the engine and transmission;
  • instead of UKM, a 4-stage speed reducer is used.

Model DT-75K is designed to perform agricultural work on mountain slopes with a steepness of not more than 20 ° at an altitude of up to 2000 m above sea level. The manufacturer is VgTZ (since 1972). This modification was equipped with the SMD-14NG engine and had the following features:

  • welded frame and tracks are identical to the DT-75B model;
  • a support safety device was used to prevent tipping on slopes;
  • the cabin had a visual roll indicator and was equipped with two seats located one opposite the other;
  • the reverse gear in combination with the front and rear linkage mechanisms made it possible to perform work in a shuttle way.

The next modification of the DT-75N was produced with an upgraded SMD-18N engine. The specified unit was equipped with a turbocharger and fuel pump adjustment, due to which the power plant's power was 95 hp. (1800 rpm).

The tractor was produced only at VgTZ and was aggregated with the same attachments as the DT-75M.

Model DT-75S. It is intended for performance of agricultural, loading and digging and road works. Key Features:

  • V-shaped six-cylinder diesel engine SMD-66 (170 hp, 1900 rpm) with gas turbine supercharging;
  • 2-speed PTO;
  • a torque converter that provides automatic control of the tractor speed depending on the resistance value;
  • the fuel tank (360 l) and the hydraulic oil tank are installed on the left side of the cab.

The DT-75D model with A-41 or D-440-22 engines boasts improved fuel efficiency, increased reliability of the transmission, chassis and rear hitch. The traction qualities of the tractor are increased by installing a reverse gear or creeper. For aggregation, the DT-75D uses: a hydraulic control and drive system, a towing device, a rear hitch, a power take-off shaft and removable front ballast weights.

The DT-75ML model has been produced since 1986 only at PTZ. The main differences: the lining of the engine compartment has been changed, the cabin has been increased (height - 2923 mm) and the number of control devices.

Since 1991, wheel modifications of the tractor have been manufactured at PTZ - DT-75MLK, DT-75KP, DT-75DK and DT-75KPM. Wheeled versions were produced in small series and were used for light land reclamation, road, construction and agricultural work.

Of the less common, we point out the models DT-75V (engine SMD-14NG), DT-75RM (engines RM-80 or RM-120), DT-75DM (engine D-245.25.) and DT-75MV (engine A-41), produced only at VgTZ.
Further development of the DT-75 was found in the new VTK product under the trade name "AGROMASH 90TG" with the A-41SI-02 engine (94 hp, 1750 rpm), which has been produced since 2009.

Tractor engines DT-75

The DT-75 tractor received an extensive range of engines, consisting of domestically produced engines. So, consider each of the motors:

  • SMD-14 is an engine manufactured by engineers of the Kharkov Hammer and Sickle plant in the Ukrainian USSR. The working volume of the engine was 6.3 liters, and the power was 75 horsepower.   • SMD-18 is a more powerful 95-horsepower turbocharged diesel unit.

All types of engines have similar auxiliary components. In particular, we are talking about a PD-10U gasoline starting device with a capacity of 10 forces, which ensured the uninterrupted start of the internal combustion engine in the hot or winter season. In addition, this was facilitated by an electric starter. When working in extremely low temperature conditions, the PZHB-200 preheater was of particular importance. All engines are mounted on a special elastic suspension, and are fixed to the frame with four screw connections.

Transmission

The DT-75 tractor is based on a welded frame reinforced with two longitudinal welded spars, which, in turn, are reinforced with transverse pipes. The gearbox and rear axle have unified components that are arranged in a single housing. This made it possible to reduce the length of the tractor and make it more compact. The design of the rear axle is represented by two planetary slewing mechanisms, in which band brakes are built. The planetary mechanism made it possible to reduce the effort on the tractor's swing arms, and thereby lighten the effort when turning the steering wheel.

Power and torque are transmitted through a manual transmission and torque converter. The design of the gearbox is represented by the following components:

  • friction clutch that transmits torque to subsequent units, including wheels
