At the end of the 20th century, Tigar ended its cooperation with BFGoodrich and established contacts with Michelin. Starting in 1997, the French systematically bought up Tigar shares and completely acquired the Serbian tire makers in 2010. It was thanks to the above-mentioned agreement that global modernization took place at the “tiger” factories, and the production of high-quality products was established, which today are in stable high demand around the world. Actually, this cooperation continues to this day, for example, in Jacksonville, a branch of the TIGAR-AMERICAS company was opened as part of it.

By the way, this was not the last cooperation contract that the brand in question signed.
