"Motozima-2016" is the third international exhibition of equipment for active recreation. Motorcycle exhibition in Sokolniki Motorcycle winter exhibition

Sokolniki regularly hosts motorcycle exhibitions and various motorcycle shows. Such events turn into a holiday for fans of speed and fans of stunts.

The MotoSpring exhibition is timed to coincide with the opening of the motorcycle season in Moscow and combines business events, a festival and entertainment program and the largest customizer competition in Russia.
The exhibition will host the Moscow Custom & Tuning Show, where the country's best customizers will present their work. Visitors to Motovesna will be able to see the work of all the strongest customizers in Russia.

Is our video from last year's exhibition.

Customizing- (from the English custom - custom), in the broadest sense of the word, this is the remaking of a finished item, in our case a motorcycle, to the individual taste of the client. As a result, a faceless mass-produced factory machine turns into a unique device, sometimes a real work of art. The main task of a customizer is to “kill on the spot” with his creation. At the same time, it is not uncommon to use a motorcycle direct purpose(that is, for driving) becomes difficult, and sometimes even impossible.
Often, a “custom” should be perceived as a work of art that is carefully stored and transported from exhibition to exhibition. The first stage of customization is when a factory bike is decorated with airbrushing and stickers, and body kit elements are replaced with those purchased at showrooms. Such decoration is usually done independently. Real customization, with the manufacture of the frame, chassis and even modernization of the engine and suspensions, is carried out by professionals in custom workshops. They often make only one or two units a year, at a cost that is 5 to 10 times the face value of the original bike.
In its meaning it is close to customization tuning motorcycles, where the main focus is on increasing engine power and improving the ride quality of the device.

The second hall, where the customization championship was held at Motovesna, is occupied by an exhibition of retro motorcycles by Vyacheslav Sheyanov.

Among the presented specimens are rare bikes, often preserved in a single copy, for example Brough Superior SS100, Mars A20 or Kurogane Type 95 produced in 1939, which functions as a motorcycle taxi in Sokolniki Park - for a reasonable fee you can ride in the passenger seat or in the side trailer of this rare motorcycle .

This is the rarest motorcycle I've ever ridden. Kurogane Type 95, Japan, 1939. There are only three left in the world. Of these, two are in Russia, in the collection of Vyacheslav Sheyanov. One of them is driving around Sokolniki Park around the Motozima pavilions for the next two days.

A motorcycle journalist shared his impressions Nikolay Bogomolov

In the same pavilion there is a conference room where, during the exhibition, meetings will be held on the problems of developing the motorcycle and ATV market, the “Motorcycle Safety 2016” conference, awarding the winners of motorcycle competitions and Xbikes races, as well as issuing certificates to motorcycle travelers who have met the standards of the international Iron Association Butt.

Fierce debates took place in the conference hall of the exhibition on the topic of the quad motorcycle market in Russia

And the main surprise from the organizers was the quest quiz “City for Motorcyclists”. Participants will have to compete for the main prize - a motorcycle.

Each visitor can take part in the “Motowinter” competition and win a brand new BMW G310R

The results of the competition will be announced at Sunday, at 14-00.

If you haven't had time to take part yet, hurry up!

The new product from BMW looks quite decent in person - the G310R does not look “cheap”.
