I bought a new UAZ pickup 2015 in the salon. I've driven 21,000 miles and have had no problems. The overall impression of the new restyled model is good.
Comparing with the previous model of 2008, the designers worked successfully. The box and the razdatka do not howl (Korean quality is a level higher). The LUK clutch does the job well and doesn't wobble like it did on previous versions.
The high-torque motor pleases and gives confidence in its reliability. Another good thing is that the designers seem to have solved the problem with the timing chain, which scared off buyers and suggested poor engine reliability. Now let's hope the problem is gone!
There is curvature during assembly and stamping of the pickup body, and everyone has the same problem (the side touching the body, resulting in scuffs and rust formation). On Pirelli (it was colder) and the consumption was 13-14 liters (with warm-ups) in the city, now it is warmer and the consumption is 14.5-16.0 liters.
