Route network "Magistral. New traffic scheme in the city center, “mainline” buses and trolleybuses: M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M7, M8, M9, M10 and A

You can also plot the route manually, armed with a map, pencil and ruler. But if you find yourself on the route planner page, then another, often more convenient option is possible - planning a route online, one of which is offered to you on our site.

There are two types of route planning: manual and automatic.

  • When laying manually, you put a number of points on the map that form an arbitrary route.
  • With automatic compilation, you need to specify the starting and ending points, and our service itself will plot the optimal route, calculating the shortest path taking into account traffic rules and the current traffic situation.

On the compiled route you will see all the roads and nearby intersections, which will be very useful for motorists and travelers. A map with a route in the city of Moscow will allow you to plan your route and prevent you from getting lost in an unfamiliar place.

To create a route on a map of the city of Moscow, enter the starting point in the first field of the form presented below and the ending point in the third field. Then indicate how you will travel to your final destination by clicking on the appropriate button - “Car”, “On Foot” or Public Transport.” After that, click on the “Show route” button.

Route network "Magistral".

In order to optimize the work and comfort of passenger movement in the central part of Moscow, a new route network was launched, which was called “Magistral”.

Several new dedicated land transport lanes have been introduced, which reduces travel time and waiting time, some areas of the city are connected to the center, and transport accessibility to various social facilities has been facilitated - clinics, passport offices, pension funds, etc.

The routes are divided into three categories: highway, regional and social.

Trunk routes are the main, longest ones. Their task is to connect different areas of Moscow and the city center. These routes are the fastest and most frequent. The movement interval is the minimum - 5-10 minutes.

Regional routes are shorter, and the traffic interval is slightly less frequent - 10-15 minutes. Their task is to connect the districts with the center. Designed for short trips, and in order to get to the transfer to the main route.

Social routes vary in length, with intervals of up to 30 minutes. The purpose of the social route is the comfort and convenience of passengers on the way to socially significant objects.

The route schedule is carried out according to a clock schedule. The convenience of a clock schedule is that vehicles arrive at a stop at regular intervals (depending on the time of day).

The numbering of routes has also been changed, alphabetic and digital numbers have appeared, but in the next few months, for the convenience of passengers on transport, both the old and new numbers will be indicated.

Some routes were straightened and supplemented with through crossings.

There are also changes in the operation of night routes. Routes H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 converge at a single interchange hub, which is located near the China - City metro station, on Slavyanskaya Square. Connecting different routes on Slavyanskaya Square helps passengers get to the desired area of the city at late times of the day. Route intervals are 30 minutes.

Several decades later, ground transport returns to Bolshaya Nikitskaya and Sadovnicheskaya streets.

The historical route A along the Boulevard Ring has been revived.

Route A on the map:

The new routes are numbered consecutively, from top to bottom and counterclockwise.

New numbering with the letter M and the route to follow on the map.
