Why do we recommend installing dual-circuit control systems with a receiver?

1. The dual-circuit air preparation unit eliminates vehicle roll due to separate power supply to the air cylinders. Air does not flow from one pneumatic element to another.


2. The receiver is an air accumulator. The air in the receiver is under pressure from 6 to 12 atmospheres, depending on the pressure sensor. The receiver makes it possible to “lift” the car even when the car is fully loaded. The compressor only needs to pump pressure into the receiver, and not press air directly into the air bags. Not every compressor can cope with the counter pressure created by the load, as a result of which it will fail at the most critical moment.

Before installing auxiliary air suspension, we recommend replacing worn and tired suspension parts for proper use of any commercial vehicle.

We recommend installing the air preparation unit inside the cabin for high-quality operation of the compressor and other elements. By using pneumatic buttons, you don’t have to worry about condensation in the pneumatic system, as when using pneumatic valves, which can close at high humidity.

Installation of the pneumatic kit:

Installing air suspension on a Fiat Ducato

Multi-axle Fiat Ducato 2017 was provided by our regular customers, RefCars, for the development of a complete air suspension. The task is not simple, but it can be solved. The car frame has been lengthened and a refrigeration box of increased volume has been installed. The challenge now was to distribute the weight of the superstructure and the weight of the load without damaging the tires. The introduction of a second axle on a standard spring package with axle spacing reduced maneuverability, but provided the necessary load capacity.

The air suspension, as usual, solved the issue of distributing the load on the spring package and provided not only comfort but also stabilization of the suspension. The front axle of the car received a standard solution - these are proprietary pneumatic struts of the latest generation with reinforcement and taking into account minor shortcomings of earlier modifications. The compressor installation was postponed for the future. At the moment, the air suspension is controlled using its own compressor by pumping and fixing the pressure in the air elements through the manual "M" systems.

The task was completed in 2 days. 2 similar cars were built.
