The numbers before W are the viscosity indicator for the maximum sub-zero temperatures up to which the product remains stable. To calculate this temperature, you need to subtract this number from 40. In our case, the result is 35, that is, minus 35 degrees Celsius. Well, the number after the letter indicates the upper limit of oil stability. That is, up to what positive temperature it will be stable. It turns out that our oil will be suitable in the range from minus 35 to plus 40 degrees Celsius.

The new canister is light gray (a lighter shade than the old one), with a red lid and sharper lines. So, the five-liter canister had a round handle, but the new one has an angled handle.
The label in the new design is not rectangular, but in the form of an irregular trapezoid with rounded corners. To the right of the handle, on the side, there is a relief in the form of wide stripes.
The measuring scale is also different. Now it is located on the side where the lid is located, and not on the handle side. It has become a little narrower and stands out more clearly against the background of the light plastic of the canister.
