1. General Provisions

1.1. The position "Car repair mechanic 2nd category" belongs to the "Workers" category.

1.2. Qualification requirements - complete general secondary education and vocational training in production. Advanced training and work experience as a 1st category car repair mechanic - at least 0.5 years.

1.3. Knows and applies in practice:
- basic information about the structure of cars;
- the procedure for compiling simple constituent units;
- techniques for insulating and soldering wires;
- methods of performing fastening work and the scope of first maintenance;
- purpose and rules of use of the most common universal and special devices and instrumentation;
- basic mechanical properties of processed materials;
- purpose and use of cooling and brake fluids, oils and fuels;
- rules for the use and use of pneumatic and electric tools;
- basic information about the system of tolerances and landings, qualities and roughness parameters;
- fundamentals of electrical engineering and metal technology in the scope of the work performed.

2. Characteristics of work, tasks and job responsibilities

2.1. Performs dismantling work on trucks and cars (except for special vehicles and diesel ones), buses with seats up to 22 passengers, trailers, semi-trailers and motorcycles.

2.2. Carries out repairs, drawing up simple connections and composite units of cars with the replacement of individual parts and components.

2.3. Removes and installs simple lighting fixtures, insulates and solders wires.

2.4. Performs fastening work according to the first maintenance work schedule, eliminates identified minor faults.

2.5. Performs metalworking of parts according to 12-14 qualifications using metalworking tools and instrumentation.

2.6. Performs work of average complexity on repairing and assembling cars under the guidance of a more highly qualified mechanic.

2.7. Knows, understands and applies current regulations relating to his activities.

2.8. Knows and complies with the requirements of regulations on labor protection and environmental protection, complies with the norms, methods and techniques for the safe performance of work.

3. Rights

4. Responsibility
