For control, during operation with tracks, the tractor is equipped with side friction discs. The track is regulated within the range of 112.5–94.5 cm. The T-0.2.03 was used quite successfully in small private farms. Nevertheless, the company has recently officially ceased its production.
KMZ-012 012
The brainchild of the Kurgan Machine-Building Plant. The model existed on the market for about 10 years, after which it suffered the fate of its Chelyabinsk colleague. Literally two or three years ago, mass production was discontinued.
Nevertheless, it can be easily purchased from hands. Often there are offers to sell cars from three to four years ago, from storage.
In general, it was a promising model with its own pros and cons. It was supplied with a 12 hp Russian V2CH diesel engine. As well as American Briggs & Stratton engines: 14-horsepower petrol and 15-horsepower diesel.

In general, the car had great inclinations, a great future could await it. It was only necessary to eliminate the shortcomings and slightly modernize the design. But the Kurgan plant decided otherwise.
Mini-tractor Uralets, manufactured by OOO Traktor
The history of this machine began in 2010 with the merger of OOO Traktor with Interagro. By the way, the latter, at that time, was already an official dealer of small-sized Chinese equipment.
The first fruits of such cooperation was a project for the assembly and pre-sale preparation of mini-tractors of the famous Chinese company Xingtai: XT-220, XT-200, XT-140, XT-120.
A year later, Traktor LLC launches its own line of similar equipment, but already under the Uralets brand. Over time, some of the components were replaced with domestically produced parts. But all the main mechanisms and assemblies are still supplied from the Middle Kingdom.
The lineup is presented in three versions. The youngest "Uralets-160" with a power of 16 hp. It weighs 900 kg and develops a pulling force of 3.5 kN. The gearbox, as on all other models, is a six-speed, 4 speeds forward, and 2 reverse. There is also an independent power take-off shaft with a rotational speed of 540 rpm.
"Uralets-180" this model is equipped with a two-cylinder diesel TY-290 developing a power of 18 hp. The weight of this device is 940 kg, and the hook force reaches 3.7 kN.

- Drive - full or rear. Most all-wheel drive models have a diesel engine, petrol versions are equipped with rear-wheel drive. If you need equipment for clearing snow or plowing the land, choose an all-wheel drive model, a rear-wheel drive modification will help to transport cargo or weed an area.
- Tractor type - garden or heavy multipurpose. Simple models for working in the garden are equipped with an engine from 14 to 17 horses, they are great help when plowing the land, cultivating or transporting goods. Powerful mini tractors have a power of 35-40 hp. and are represented by a large set of attachments.

Before buying a mini tractor, you need to determine your maximum budget, and fortunately there are many manufacturers of both budget and premium class on the market. Chinese budget models are quite popular in Russia, because they have good quality, and some are even assembled in Russia. Minitractors from China are considered the best selling, do not lose their positions and offer the buyer excellent technical characteristics.
There is also the most reliable and rather expensive equipment that has gained recognition all over the world. Popular brands include Kubota, Mitsubishi, Yanmar and Isseki. Of course, the cost of such products is within 1 million rubles, therefore, despite the maximum reliability, a simple Russian user is unlikely to allow a Japanese mini-tractor.
Chinese models

Please note that when buying Chinese mini tractors, you will have to acquire certain skills, in particular, diagnostics, tuning and refinement of some parts of the tractor.
Xingtai HT-220
A multifunctional model, very famous in the Russian market, the brand itself has several different tractors, models 120, 160, 180, 220 and 244 are presented. Model 220 has received small dimensions, is equipped with a diesel engine with a volume of 1.49 cm3. Power was 22 horsepower at revs up to 2,300 rpm. Shifts thanks to a mechanical gearbox 6 forward and 2 reverse gears. The indicated maximum speed of the vehicle forward is up to 31.4 km / h, in reverse it goes up to 10 km / h.
The overall dimensions of the model were 2.42 meters long and 1.2 meters wide, with a wheelbase of 1.54 meters. The model is quite affordable on the Russian market and today is sold at a price of 280,000 rubles. The new Xingtai will serve as an excellent and reliable assistant for a long time.
It is worth noting that the Xingtai brand also creates mini tractors under such names as Uralets and Caliber. The equipment is assembled in Russia, but has characteristics similar to Chinese models.
Jinma JM 244
Undoubtedly, one of the best Chinese universal mini tractors, the Jinma JM 244 model was originally created specifically for agriculture, construction and utilities. The technician copes with its duties perfectly, the 244 model is suitable for processing an area of up to 5 hectares. One of the features of the model can be called the presence of a two-circuit system, on which in the future you can install a bucket loader or a dozer-type blade.
The model is equipped with a diesel engine with a volume of 1.5 liters and a power of 24 hp. It operates in a standard 4-stroke mode, the manufacturer has also installed a forced water cooling system. The technique is quite economical due to operation on diesel fuel; it requires 275 grams per 1 kW / h. Adequate power and traction at low revs is provided by the presence of three cylinders and a manual gearbox with 6 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds.

It is very convenient for use on the site and in the garden, small dimensions with a length of 2140 mm and a width of 1000 mm allow you to make turns in small areas and work with both full-fledged large areas and small towns.
The Garden Scout T12 is equipped with a 0.8 liter diesel engine and a rated power of 12 horsepower. It is mandatory equipped with water cooling and a ground clearance of 180 mm. The total weight of the mini-tractor was 410 kg, so the T12 model will be interesting for novice farmers or just lovers of such equipment. For better confidence in the quality of equipment and the provision of a guarantee, it is better to buy equipment from an authorized manufacturer or dealer.
Ussuriets TS 18DB
It is considered the initial model in the line, has a low power and therefore is available for almost any farmer. The Ussuriets brand itself is young and has existed since 2010, but it already produces mini tractors with a capacity of 24 to 90 horsepower. The presented Ussuriets TS 18 is equipped with a 4-stroke 24 hp engine, it is officially indicated that this is a Chinese model. But the assembly of equipment is carried out in Russia, so this is partly a domestic model.
The force is transmitted only to the rear-wheel drive, equipped with a dry single-plate clutch and a manual gearbox for 6 forward and 1 reverse gears. The dimensions are rather big, the length of the Ussuriets was 2 630 mm.
Considering the need for such mini tractors, we can make confident conclusions that it is the Chinese models that are in great demand. They are affordable, quite high quality and cheap to maintain.
