Helpful Hints:

Drain the oil after driving while the engine is still warm. If the engine is cold, start and warm it up to operating temperature. Fill with the same brand of oil as the oil that was in the engine. If you still decide to change the brand of oil, flush the lubrication system with flushing oil or oil of the brand that will be used. 6. Remove the oil filter with a special wrench and unscrew it by hand.

If there is no such key or similar puller, pierce the filter housing with a screwdriver and, using it as a lever, unscrew the filter. Punch the filter as close to the bottom as possible so as not to damage the fitting. You can also use a double-folded strip of coarse sandpaper, wrapping it around the filter and shifting it with your hands.

7. If the O-ring of the new filter is not factory-treated with grease or talc, lubricate the O-ring with clean engine oil and hand-tighten the filter into place (without using a tool) 3/4 turn from the moment the ring and cylinder block flange come into contact.

8. Turn out and remove a carving stopper of an oil filling mouth.

9. Then fill with clean engine oil, in more detail. Reinstall the oil filler cap.

10. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes (the emergency oil pressure drop warning light should go out 2-3 seconds after starting the engine). While the engine is running, check for oil leaks from under the drain plug and oil filter. Stop the engine, check the oil level, add oil if necessary, tighten the plug and filter.
