Mercedes-Benz A-Class Sedan
The four-door A-Class is a variation on the hatchback theme unveiled this year and technically repeats it almost entirely. The most affordable sedan in the brand's lineup will hit the European market before the end of this year. The novelty is built on the modular MFA chassis, the length is 4458 mm, the wheelbase is 2729 mm, and the trunk volume is 420 liters. The base 1.3-liter engine has a half-cylinder deactivation system and develops 163 hp, the more powerful 1.5-liter diesel engine - 116 horsepower. The boxes are a seven-speed "robot" with two clutches, or a six-speed manual gearbox. The production of the sedan is established not only in Germany, but also in Mexico.
One of the most anticipated novelties is the new BMW "troika". The CLAR platform, more efficient motors and the appearance in the style of the last "five" - all this, of course, will be on the 3-Series. The sedan will be the first production BMW to feature smart shock absorbers that “continuously and progressively work in accordance with the spring travel”. At least that's what the Bavarians promised.
Another, the latest version of the Ceed family is now not a three-door hatchback with a sporty bias, but something like a sportsback. It turned out the same station wagon, but with a sloping roof and sports attributes. The car differs from the standard Ceed with bumpers, rims, a sports exhaust system, a spoiler and other optics. Moreover, it is longer than the station wagon, but at the same time it has a clearance reduced by 5 mm. The range of engines includes a 120-horsepower liter unit and a 1.4 engine with 140 hp, as well as a 1.6-liter diesel engine - all either with a six-speed manual gearbox or with a preselection robot. The GT version has a 1.6-liter turbo engine with 204 horsepower.
Mercedes-Benz GLE
After changing the generation, the main competitor BMW X5 has become more sporty and, as usual, even more digital. The traditional dashboard has been replaced by two displays, and the outdated Comand media system has been replaced by a new Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX), similar to the one used on the A-Class, along with a steering wheel equipped with touch panels. The car is built on a modular MHA platform - the same one that uses the new E-Class. The crossover has become lighter, in the range - four- and six-cylinder supercharged units, and in the future - a hybrid modification and an AMG version with a V8 with more than 600 horsepower.
The station wagon based on the flagship sedan will hit the market in January next year and will compete with the Volkswagen Passat and Opel Insignia Sports Tourer. The trunk volume of the Peugeot 508 SW is 530 liters, and with the rear seats folded down - 1780 liters. Like the sedan, the station wagon is equipped with a 1.6 liter gasoline engine with 180 and 225 hp. with an eight-speed "automatic", as well as diesels with a capacity of 130 to 180 hp. The cabin features a signature second-generation i-Cockpit interior, a digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen display. Options include a night vision system and a set of electronic assistants.
The golf-class model never made it to the Russian market, and an updated version is about to debut in Europe. Appearance changes are minimal (different bumper, additional body paint colors), and a new media system with an 8-inch screen appeared in the cabin. The main engine for Europe is a 1.6 liter diesel with a capacity of 100, 120 and 140 hp. paired with a six-speed "mechanics" or a seven-speed "automatic".
There are no live photos of the new generation Renault Clio hatchback yet, but, according to insiders, it will try on the features of the Renault Symbioz concept car, which was shown a year ago. Sales of new items will begin in Europe early next year. The novelty will share the CMF-B platform with the Nissan Micra, it will become lighter, and the engine range will include a new 1.3-liter gasoline turbo engine and the already well-known three-cylinder unit with a volume of 0.9 liters. The interior promises a large touchscreen display and a new media system with a new protocol for synchronizing with smartphones. Finally, the upcoming Clio will receive a range of semi-autonomous control systems for the first time.
Volkswagen T-Cross
The compact crossover T-Cross is based on the current sixth generation Volkswagen Polo, and is stylistically similar to the larger T-Roc crossover. The SUV will receive three- and four-cylinder petrol and diesel supercharged engines, and the top versions will be equipped with an all-wheel drive transmission. Sales of Spanish-assembled cars in Europe should begin before the end of this year, and a little later, the novelty should come to Russia. According to unconfirmed information, in our country, the T-Cross will replace the outdated Polo-sedan on the assembly line of the Kaluga plant and will compete with the Hyundai Creta.
The updated coupe is perhaps the most classified exhibit at the Paris Motor Show. All technical characteristics of the car are still kept secret, but according to unofficial data, the range of engines will remain unchanged. If in Russia a coupe is sold only with a two-liter turbo engine, then in Europe a 1.8 TSFI gasoline engine and a diesel of the same volume are also available. The updated car will receive different air intakes, new LED optics and modified bumpers. The list of equipment will be supplemented by a new media system and electronic security systems.
Formally, the third generation roadster has already been presented at Pebble Beach, but it will be shown to the general public in Paris. The production car is very similar to last year's concept car and shares a platform with the upcoming Toyota Supra as planned. The novelty has received an in-line three-liter supercharged "six" with a return of 340 hp. and the Z4 M40i index. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes just 4.6 seconds. Suspension - with electronically controlled shock absorbers, rear differential - with electronic blocking. Sales start in spring 2019.
The Japanese made the updated sports coupe very similar to the flagship Lexus LC sports car. The novelty can be distinguished from the pre-styling model by the headlights, air intakes and the radiator grille, and all the changes have also improved the aerodynamics of the car. Mercedes-Benz B-Class
The new B-Class will hit European markets early next year and will continue to resemble the oversized and slightly bloated A-Class. The first ever Vietnamese car brand will present two models at once - a sedan and a crossover. Peugeot e-Legend concept
Peugeot's e-Legend concept car celebrates the 50th anniversary of the classic 504 coupe. Its kinship with the iconic model of the late 1960s is reminiscent of its distinctive front end, twin headlights and the tilt of the C-pillars. At the same time, the modern coupe was equipped with two electric motors, giving out a total of 462 hp. and 800 Nm of torque. The units allow the car to gain the first "hundred" in less than four seconds. The cabin was equipped with 16 displays of various sizes. The Koreans will present their version of the serial electric crossover, which will be built on the basis of the hybrid Kia Niro. The engine develops 204 hp. and allows the electric car to accelerate from zero to “hundreds” in 7.8 seconds. The car will borrow the power plant from the electric Hyundai Ioniq, and the power reserve will be a very decent 485 kilometers. For the first time, the Audi A1 (like the VW Polo and Seat Ibiza) will receive a new modular transverse platform. The length after the transition will increase by six centimeters and will now reach an impressive 4.03 meters. Under the hood, the smallest Audi will get gasoline engines. Market launch date is October 2018.
Audi e-tron
In addition to the aforementioned A1 and Q3, the third model that will arrive 100% in France will be the first electric crossover from Ingolstadt - the Audi e-tron. Competitor Jaguar I-Pace and Mercedes EQC got two electric motors that provide four-wheel drive and maximum power in the region of 408 hp. With. According to the WLTP measurement cycle, the car should provide a range of more than 400 kilometers on a single charge and acceleration to 100 km / h in 5.7 seconds. The base price will be unmerciful 79,900 euros (something about 6 million rubles).
Bmw z4
The new version of the BMW Roadster was presented at the end of August at the Pebble Beach "Concours d" Elegance "- it was the official premiere of the model. The world premiere is on its way, of course, it will take place in Paris.

Citroën C5 Aircross (Hybrid Concept)

The B-Class is, so to speak, the "MiniVan" version of the A-Class. It is therefore not surprising that the generational changeover of the A-Class will now be followed by a renewal of the B-Class. There is no photo of the novelty yet, so the photo shows the old (second) generation of MB. Technically, the B-Class shouldn't be that different from the A-Class.
Mercedes A-Class Sedan
And another derivative of the A-Class is a four-door full-fledged passenger car in the sedan body. The model seems to have already been officially presented, but Mercedes will not miss the chance to light it up one more time. The length of the car is 4.55 meters, which is 13 centimeters longer than the hatchback version. The model for the European market looks very interesting, clearly more interesting than its counterpart for the Chinese market. Certainly a matter of taste, but for some reason it seems that way.
The launch of the car on the market (which, by the way, does not replace the CLA, the latter will receive a successor) should take place at the end of 2018.
Opel: no models shown

Peugeot 508 SW
The new generation of the "508" model has already been shown in Geneva at the beginning of 2018, in line for the station wagon, which will be shown to the public for the first time in France. Some experts argue that the model can rather be called not a station wagon, but a "fastback", however, regardless of the terminology used, the car is unlikely to receive much attention, since Peugeot has previously published photos of the 508 SW, which means that a sensation will not happen.
Much more interest is the new plug-in hybrid drive, which will also be available in the new 508 SW station wagon. And so far only on it.
Peugeot 208
According to rumors, we will see the new Peugeot 208 in Paris, others say that they will have to wait until the Geneva Motor Show. Be that as it may, we have a rendering of a photo of the novelty, and this is how it most likely will look. The French novelty will share the platform with the Opel Corsa.
Porsche Macan (restyling)
The Porsche Macan was launched in 2014. Four years later, Porsche is presenting a restyled 4.7m version of the compact SUV in Paris. The most significant visual change has been made at the rear, where the lights are now connected by LED strip. At the front, LED headlights will be standard. On the day of the start of sales in November 2018, it should receive only one 245-horsepower four-cylinder engine. Prices start at 56,000 euros.
VinFast sedan 02 and SUV 02
The intrigue of the car dealership - a manufacturer from ... Vietnam (!) VinFast. Until now, nothing is known about the new brand, even experts are lost in riddles of what kind of fruit it is. We'll find out soon.
In Paris, they will show two models - a sedan called "Sedan 02", which is so gorgeous because the design was thought of by Pininfarina. In addition, there must be an SUV named "SUV 02". Hopefully this is not the final title yet ...
Seat tarraco
Another notable model from Spain. This is a mid-size SUV, for Seat, it is generally a fairly large model. With a length of 4.74 meters and a height of 1.66 meters, the Tarraco will have to offer plenty of space in the cabin. Thus, the new flagship will be produced not only as a five-seater version, but also in the now fashionable seven-seater version.
The engine lineup includes two petrol and two diesel engines, each of which will fit in the range from 150 to 190 horsepower. Tarraco will be launched on the market at the beginning of 2019. The prices will not exceed those of the Skoda Kodiaq. However, this is not so interesting for us, because Seat is not officially for sale in Russia.
VW: no models shown
While Audi is coming to Paris with a whole host of new additions, VW's parent brand won't be presented at all. A few years ago, this would have been completely unthinkable. At the same time, Wolfsburg could be shown something, for example, the same T-Cross crossover, equivalent to the cheaper Seat Arona. But, alas, on an autumn rainy day in October, Parisians and guests of the French capital will not see a single new product of a large automaker.
