Hyundai Greta in maximum configuration. Test drive of the new Hyundai Creta (Hyundai Creta - Greta). Dynamics and consumption

If earlier the Hyundai Elantra could easily be recognized as an Asian-made car, now, after the update, this sedan looks like a real “European”. Only it still doesn’t drive like a European, but that won’t always be the case. After all, let us remember that the old team of Hyundai engineers was responsible for the driving performance of the 6th generation Elantra, and not the new one under the leadership of Albert Biermann...

The pros and cons of the 2018-2019 Hyundai Creta in a new body were identified based on reviews from owners. More detailed advantages and disadvantages of Hyundai Creta with manual, automatic and 4x4 all-wheel drive can be found in the stories below:

Reviews

The main thing is clearance! I stopped looking closely at every pebble on the road. Large diameter wheels add comfort when driving on bad road. I don’t have to look out from behind the wheel onto the road (even with my considerable height). I was pleased when going out into nature - even with front-wheel drive you can drive where the road was previously closed.

A little more about consumption, since this worries many. We can say that he pleases. It all depends on the driving style of the particular driver, the time of year and where you have to drive. The first three winter thousand (although in our area last winter was warm) the consumption was 9.4-9 liters per hundred city-highway approximately 50:50. It seemed like a lot, but spring came, the running-in ended and the consumption dropped to 8 liters.

There are several reasons why you should forget about dynamic driving. I'm somewhat dissatisfied with the automatic transmission algorithm. On long climbs (or overtaking), you almost always have to use manual mode, because the machine turns on early downshift and then, apart from the roar of the engine, there is little sense.

Overall I like the car. Despite the simple interior and average appearance, the Hyundai Greta is one of those that is larger inside than outside (praise be to the designers), so far it does not annoy even small jambs. And... This is a car more likely for the city, for traffic jams, for a leisurely drive. Such a workhorse for every day.

Vladimir, review about the Hyundai Greta 1.6 automatic with front-wheel drive.

I drove at night in normal conditions without rain, without oncoming traffic or splashing headlights - the light on Crete is very weak. This is the first problem. Second - the car (my opinion) is light, it basically holds the road, but due to poor lighting it flew onto a frozen roadside track, it’s good that the speed was low, it pulls off and jumps. There is a feeling of an unbalanced car, maybe it’s a matter of habit, I don’t know.

At low speeds in the snow, this lightness is even a thrill, it rows normally and skids the rear a little if you increase it, but in principle it stabilizes without interference from the steering wheel. It works quite often. The engine was not particularly broken in, but it gave off heat when overtaking. Frankly speaking, the engine is rather weak. Maybe for now.

The car heats up quickly and efficiently. I set it to 23 according to the book, and forgot (climate). True, with frosts of minus 20-30 it tightens the windows when driving a long distance, you turn it on to normal mode, it goes away. We'll see how the air conditioner and climate will work in the summer. The ergonomics of the cabin are generally fine. The doors don't close the first time, maybe because of the frost.

Owner's review of the Hyundai Creta 2.0 with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive

Where can I buy?

In the first week, a knocking sound appeared in the trunk; I didn’t notice it until I took everything out of the trunk, including the shelves and the spare tire. I discovered a rattling noise in the trunk lock... I went to the dealer, they tightened it up and fixed it.

Second week, the next day after visiting the dealer the tire pressure gauge came on, I checked that the pressure was normal. I drove for a couple more days and the trunk lock started clanking again and gradually stopped closing the first, second, or fifth time. I visited the dealer, they changed the lock, did something to the tire pressure sensors, the light stopped burning

Over a run of 1,300 km, the consumption gradually decreased from the run-in 18-20 to 10.2 on the highway in 100/120 mode and to 12-14 in the city. And yes, guys, this is a 95 G drive)) Mileage 4,000 km, no more problems.

Among the disadvantages of the Hyundai Creta, I note that both the engine and the interior cool down quickly, there is no sealing - it comes through from the windows when closed, when reclining the seats, the air in the trunk is very noticeable, there are a lot of crickets, the trunk lock clicks in the cold, traffic safety on the highway is low - from throws the ruts straight out,
there is no lumbar support - the back gets tired after 400 km of the route, the audio is very mediocre, it can be treated at least by replacing the head.

Nikita, review about the Hyundai Creta 2.0 with a front-wheel drive automatic.

123 horsepower is quite enough for driving around the city; it’s stupid to expect any unrealistic acceleration figures from a city crossover. When driving with smooth acceleration on the streets, this engine is enough for the eyes. The 6-speed manual turned out to be cool and convenient - short stroke, clear shifts and electronic assistants doing their job.

It turns out that you seem to have a manual transmission, but the car still won’t let you full control over yourself, but to call it a minus is complete nonsense. You just sit down and drive, getting used to everything in a matter of minutes. The only thing you need to get used to is electronic pedal gas, the delay of which is felt for about a second.

Well, appearance is determined differently for everyone. For example, I really like her. A strong and swift silhouette in a small body. Although, by the way, there is a lot of space inside the car, both in front and in the back - I still don’t understand how they were able to achieve such a result.

Review from the owner of Hyundai Creta 1.6 on mechanics

Video review of the Hyundai Creta

The suspension is moderately stiff. In my memory, of the crossovers with a similar wheelbase, the softest is the Qashqai, the hardest is the Suzuki Grand Vitara. Creta is somewhere in the middle. The suspension is not very elastic (like the Tiguan), but not flabby (like previous Hyundais). Small bumps go well, speed bumps are no longer good if you drive at a speed of more than 30 km/h. Large potholes depending on speed. On a small scale - normal, average.

The Creta's steering is well controlled and does not heel - controllability is at an average level passenger cars T-class type Focus, which is very good. The steering wheel itself is light and gets heavier at speed, but not linearly, i.e. no longer high speed It gets quite heavy. It is light only in parking lots and when driving at speeds up to 10 km/h. Noise insulation is average, at low speeds it is very quiet, then mediocre.

The engine follows the gas pedal well up to 60-80 km/h. Then it starts to dull. Above 100-120 km/h it already begins to howl. The box, again, works just fine up to these speeds. All this points to the urban nature of the car - it’s good to drive on average city roads and not too fast. Ideal for Moscow and the region.

Interior design, dashboard simple but cute. Like all Hyundais, the Creta has a very good appetite. Highway 9 liters, city with traffic jams and warm-ups - 13 liters. Well, this is the price for the naturally aspirated engine, vigorous starts from traffic lights and classic machine gun- there's no escape. The brakes are again average - not sharp, but informative, although somewhere from the middle of the brake pedal travel.

The build quality of the car is normal, but there is a problem with closing the fifth door - you have to slam hard. Fill up with 92 and save on motor oil I really don’t recommend it (take Total Quartz) - in two-liter engines this can cause scuffing in the cylinders.

Review from owner of Hyundai Greta 1.6 automatic transmission front-wheel drive ohm

Hyundai Creta-Solaris among crossovers. Inexpensive when compared with its competitors, the cost of the minimum configuration on the market is 800 thousand rubles, the “maximum speed” will cost 1.2 million rubles. The crossover is pleasant to look at; externally, the model is practically no different from its fellow tribesmen, at least for the worse. Good quality finishing materials, comfort and ergonomics are ensured. However, there are several significant “BUTs” that make operating the Korean crossover a real nightmare and a big disappointment for the new Crete owners.

We have collected some of the most glaring facts indicating that a crossover from Korea is far from the best option to buy.

1. The body of the Hyundai Creta is rotting!

Photo taken from www.drive2.ru

The first and most terrifying fact about the Hyundai Creta is that its body rots literally just a few months after leaving the assembly line! What a news!

This fact was spoken about by a considerable number of motorists who managed to take ownership of the crossover, and what they said was shocking, they simply couldn’t believe it. Nevertheless, all the stories turned out to be true, a number of automotive publications that you can trust wrote about this, including information published on the magazine’s website "Behind the wheel".

According to data from forums, from a quarter to a third of owners have encountered this unpleasant ailment. And it would be nice if the bottom of the car was covered in rust, at least you can “remove” it. But traces of metal decomposition appeared on the body panels and even on the roof!!! How is that? You can read more about the study in the article “Why the new Hyundai Creta rusts - the “Behind the Wheel” investigation”

And in order not to slander the Korean automaker, we note that according to official data, the number of car owners who are faced with a rust problem on the Hyundai Creta is very small, not 1 percent.

Therefore, there is no need to panic. However, it is best to keep in mind that there is a similar problem.

In order not to tarnish its reputation, Hyundai will change the necessary technical processes anyway (or have already made changes) and new batches will get rid of the unpleasant disease. But a residue will remain...

2. A crossover with a 1.6 liter engine, automatic and all-wheel drive has slurred dynamics

The second annoying disappointment of the owners is that the Creta comes with 1.6 liter engine, automatic transmission and it doesn't work with all-wheel drive at all. For example, the following review https://www.zr.ru/cars/hyundai/-/creta/reviews/

Let us immediately note that this is almost the maximum configuration and it costs more than 1.1 million rubles.

According to the passport, acceleration is 13.1 seconds, not fast, but it would seem possible to live, since we are not taking a sports car. In life, everything turned out to be somewhat worse (according to a forum member), since acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is not the only driving mode in real life. road conditions, much more often you need to quickly accelerate from 3rd or 4th gear, and here everything turns out to be completely bad. A car with a 123-horsepower engine does not pull, acceleration is sleepy and does not quite fit the realities of modern road life.

However, the disease can be treated very simply, take a model with a 2.0 liter engine, overpay a little (60-100 thousand rubles), but immediately raise the operational safety by several points.

P.S. People have differing opinions about the dynamics in the discussions. For some, the power and torque are quite enough and they do not understand the essence of the claims of other owners. Forum club-creta.ru

3. Minimum equipment - no, no!

Hyundai differs from many in its rather budget-friendly approach to pricing, but according to the old and bad tradition, if you want to buy a car as cheaply as possible, don’t do it, otherwise you’ll lose. For 800 thousand rubles in the Start package you will get the look of a crossover with a single-wheel drive on the front axle, two front airbags, 16” steel wheels and a set of “options” that are even available in the Lada Kalina, such as classic electric windows, central locking and an immobilizer.

Tell me honestly, would you buy a completely “naked” car for 800 thousand? This is a crossover, whatever one may say, and not a brand car. With all due respect to the efforts domestic auto industry get out of the impenetrable dense darkness. Our fellows are great at this, they inspire optimism.

4. Creta is expensive

Yes, we say that the crossover is budget, read, inexpensive. But if we put it aside minimum configuration and choose a more or less worthy one, it turns out that it is better to purchase a model for only 1 million rubles. ONE MILLION, Karl!

How is that? It is not expensive?! Expensive of course.

We understand that a crossover has always been an expensive pleasure and the manufacturer cannot sell its products at a loss, but... Creta really expensive model from Hyundai in the budget segment.

5. Queues to buy

At the same time, you will have to wait to buy Creta. The wait will be long. In some regions, the waiting list lasts almost six months. This is both a merit and a mistake of the manufacturer. On the one hand, the excitement is frantic, people want to get their hands on the Creta, on the other hand, it wouldn’t hurt to set up supplies or production in larger volumes. Discussion on the forum www.hyundai-creta2.ru

This was the top 5 most egregious Hyundai facts Creta. Of course, car owners will find a bunch of other flaws or simply taste flaws in the car, and the forums are full of discussions of this kind. We will not list negative reviews, because in our opinion, this would be nit-picking.

What did we want to say with this material? Does not exist perfect cars. They don’t exist in nature; even super-reliable Toyotas break down. Remember after 7 years of operation. But in pursuit of imaginary savings, it is better to slow down and think, is it worth taking out a loan or giving away money accumulated over the years to buy what looks like a crossover, but in fact is an ordinary city car called Creta? Maybe it’s better to take the brand new Solaris of the second generation, a proven, perfected bestseller on the Russian market over the years of production and not know the troubles? Or do you still think that it’s worth paying extra for the all-terrain qualities of the Creta crossover? You decide.

Today we are testing a new Korean crossover - Hyundai Creta. One could guess about the success of the Hyundai Creta in the domestic market judging by how willingly Russians bought the budget version of the Solaris sedan. But, in fact, everything turned out to be much better for the Korean concern and customers, and much worse for Hyundai’s direct competitors.

New Creta – typical car, sitting on the seat of which there is no that exciting feeling of the first purchase new car. There is no enthusiasm for the presentable appearance or modern “filling”. But in the subconscious it is felt that hundreds of thousands of car enthusiasts have already firmly decided for themselves: “I’ll take it!”

What do we know about the new Hyundai Creta?

At first, journalists claimed that the Hyundai Creta was created on the basis of the Hyundai Solaris. But that's not true. If you start looking for related models with the new Hyundai, then the Elantra model most likely comes to mind, the body of which is made 53% of alloys of special strength.

The Creta has considerable similarities with its popular brother Tucson - in this situation we mean the rear body, as well as parts of the suspension and transmission. To highlight the difference between new Creta and Solaris, engineers draw attention to the fact that on Solaris the shock absorbers are mounted at an angle of 45° at the rear, while in Crete they are installed strictly vertically, which allows increasing energy intensity.

The new Hyundai Creta is equipped with a 123 hp engine, which has some design differences from the Solaris engine, which also has a power of 123 hp. The difference, for example, lies in the phase shifter, which in Solaris is installed exclusively at the inlet, while on Crete it is provided at the inlet/exhaust.

When tuning the engine, the manufacturer relied on dynamism and fuel consumption - to make the car economical, engineers reduced the level of torque. Despite such measures, this measure cannot be called effective - the new Hyundai Creta weighs 250 kg more than the Solaris, accelerates to 100 km/h 2 seconds longer and consumes 1 liter more fuel.

To adapt new car To domestic market, Creta engines were adapted to AI-92 fuel. This development is not the only one that will please Russian car enthusiasts. Among the huge list, one can also highlight the competent adjustment of the steering wheel, which gave the car excellent handling.

Dynamics and consumption

While conducting this, we were not able to fully study the issue of dynamics, due to the fact that the test cars we had were less powerful front-wheel drive representatives and more powerful all-wheel drive with automatic transmission. Both have no problems with dynamism: when overtaking, the car behaves “obediently” and there is no need to “remember all the saints.” In terms of maneuverability on roads in heavy traffic, the Creta showed that it is capable of maneuvering and changing lanes carefully. The 6-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and quickly: during fast driving there are no problems with the lack of a sport mode and there is no desire to change gears manually on a manual transmission.

Testing the Hyundai Creta on mountain roads, we spent only 7.5 liters per 100 km, taking our time. In intensive driving at high speed, consumption can increase to 11 liters per 100 km.

Aerodynamics and noise

Buying a Hyundai Creta means forgetting about the fact that good roads at driving fast the car will be rocked by the oncoming air flow - experts were unable to identify the moment when the Creta “sinks” at any speed threshold. As for noise, you shouldn’t be afraid of them either - as you pick up speed, the noise level increases, but you can only hear a hum, with no whistling at all. Additional noise at high speed (if any) occurs when the tires come into contact with the asphalt. IN in this case it all depends on the quality road surface and in no way from the aerodynamic qualities of the car.

Suspension energy intensity

Buying a Hyundai Creta means choosing a car with a rigid suspension. This characteristic becomes noticeable almost immediately, passing seams on the asphalt. Driving along them at high speed is not very comfortable. It’s attractive that on long turns and during sharp maneuvers you no longer need to let off the gas - the car won’t swerve or jump to the side.

Steering

Pleasantly surprised electric amplifier steering wheel, which is included in almost every configuration of the Creta (classic hydraulics are installed on the “budget” version) - in combination, a weightless steering wheel + rigid suspension, it is unlikely that you will be able to find a similar car. This addition raises new questions - why add an option that will only increase the price of the car? Using Creta as an example, you can see that the Koreans do not skimp on technical improvements.

According to many journalists, the steering wheel in the car lacks information content, but this option is unlikely to bother the average buyer who needs a good, high-quality car.

Crossover off-road - car behavior

To put it simply and succinctly, it is not recommended to drive the Hyundai Creta off-road. In terms of parameters such as departure and approach angles, the level of ground clearance (according to official data - 190 mm, in fact - approximately 180 mm), the travel of both suspensions - the car is seriously inferior to the already traditional Duster and the brand new "brutal" on the market - Renault Kaptur. On the new Korean crossover you can ride across a field or overcome an area with loosened soil, crushed stone or sand. The only condition is that the surface must be relatively flat. A slippery or loose surface, even on a slight descent or ascent, can become a real trap for the Creta driver.

But there is a way out this provision. You simply need to turn off the traction control function and, with stops, slipping and other torments, you can make your way through snowy wastelands and forgotten country roads, which are famous for mud and puddles.

A little about interior ergonomics

It is naive to believe that a Hyundai Creta, whose price is below 1 million rubles, will have a luxury design. That's why you shouldn't expect mahogany and crocodile leather wood inserts on the front panel. Plastic is everywhere here. There will be a lot of it even if the buyer checks the box next to the “ leather interior" In the “leather” version, the armrests on the front panels, the steering wheel and all the seats will be covered with leather. The plastic panel will be left in place. But despite the “cheapness” of the design in Crete, the Koreans did their best - the attractive textures and sense of Asian style would be difficult to call “budget” and “cheap.”

The Hyundai Creta is equipped with the following devices:

  • Owners of all Cretas will be able to enjoy the buttons on the steering wheel, but only those who pay an additional 50 thousand rubles will be able to control the functionality of the car via the phone. for a package of additional options;
  • Regardless of the configuration, everything side windows equipped with electric windows;
  • The functional panel will also be available only to those who pay an additional 50 thousand rubles. This panel is distinguished by rich functionality, attractive appearance and high-quality graphics.

The multimedia system looks comparatively smaller than it might seem in the pictures presented - there is no desire to configure anything and poke your fingers into it. The screen is too small for a car sensor. As for the rear view camera, it will be installed only if the buyer decides to buy a Hyundai Creta with additional package options (additionally paying 50 thousand rubles).

If the electronic clock on the dashboard annoys almost everyone, then the Koreans have achieved the impossible - they managed to fit this device so well that they do not cause negative emotions. Perhaps it's all about the design and size.

Prices for the Hyundai Creta are determined by the budget - the low cost of materials and fillings made the crossover affordable. If we take into account appearance car together with the front panel and climate control unit, then the “tidy” and steering wheel will look cheap and unattractive against their background.

Despite this disadvantage, Creta car owners will only benefit from this - they won’t have to look for functional large buttons. You can press them and simultaneously look at the road without being distracted by extraneous actions.

Cabin capacity

The relatively small dimensions of the car did not affect the spaciousness at all. The rear sofa is located at a convenient angle, it is comfortable to sit on it. If you go on a trip in a Hyundai Creta with a group of 4 people, there will definitely not be a crush from behind. The gap between the edge of the sofa and the front seat is small, which can lead to constant friction of the trouser legs against the back of the seat, but this is not a big deal.

Everything is fine in the front too - the Creta is equipped with comfortable seats that group the seating position in such a way that even after long trip, the body does not get tired and does not swell. The extra space with elbow room and head room is nice. In addition, an excellent review. Even a specialist will find it difficult to find fault with the comfort inside the car.

Luggage compartment

If we talk about the luggage compartment, then it can be described in one simple wording - everything will fit. The high floor is a distinctive feature of the crossover, under which the spare wheel is hidden. The trunk has small recesses on the sides, which is ideal for storing oversized cargo.

Overall, looking at the Creta, it seems that the engineers paid special attention to ergonomics, designing it for urban "harsh" conditions. In this regard, it becomes clear why the manufacturer relied on a rigid suspension, compactness luggage compartment, indifference to off-road conditions, etc. This aspect is reminiscent of an optional issue: when the issue is sales, Koreans look for key points, develop the car to meet consumer needs and create a new, attractive car. Judging by Solaris, the Koreans seem to be creating a new “ people's car, which will be of interest to many domestic car enthusiasts.

The Creta's trunk capacity is 402, which is 73 liters less than the Duster and 15 liters more than the Kaptur.

Basic and additional bells and whistles in the Hyundai Creta trim levels, available to ordinary users:

  • The minimum cost of a car equipped with air conditioning is 859 thousand rubles;
  • With a climate control system, the car will cost 959.9 thousand rubles;
  • On the list additional accessories there are two 12 V sockets, a USB connector, an AUX port;
  • A car equipped with an automatic transmission, front-wheel drive, with an engine of 123 hp, will cost the buyer 909.9 thousand rubles.

The optional part of the Hyundai Creta in the form of a “hatch” raises a huge number of questions. The car does not have a cruise control function, even in the most expensive Comfort configuration, the cost of which reaches 1.2 million rubles. In response to accusations of greed, the Koreans respond that the modern consumer market pays attention to current options and allows manufacturers to refuse unnecessary additions - this allows them to reduce the price of the car and make it truly in demand.

For example, surveys conducted by experts have shown that for families with children, it is most important to have heated seats in all seats (front and rear) than to have cruise control. In addition to the seats, the Hyundai Crete has a heated steering wheel and camera. rear view. In this situation, we can conclude that the manufacturer did not squeeze money, but actually chose the optimal functionality for the car.

According to the Koreans, modern successful car series should be restyled not once every 5 years, but annually - according to them, already in soon Hyundai Creta body, options, interior and other indicators and elements may change.

It turns out that the “shortcomings” identified now are only a temporary phenomenon. Soon, the producers plan to (apparently) fill in the gaps in order to continue the successful release of sequels to the series. We can only wait for good news in the next 1-3 years.

Despite this factor, the optional Creta still does not inspire admiration among “experienced” car owners:

  • There is no climate control;
  • No xenon;
  • No rain sensor installed;
  • There is no head unit with a large monitor;
  • No navigation devices.

Apparently, these options will not appear soon, which seriously upsets many modern fans of the Korean automobile industry.

To install heating rear seats, you will have to order an optional one, costing 50 thousand rubles. It includes the designated heating. If you want to buy a completely “stuffed” car, you will have to pay the dealer 1.274 million rubles.

Year of purchase and mileage: 2018
Equipment: Travel + Advances 2.0 AT four-wheel drive
Your average consumption: 9.0 liters per 100 km

Advantages of the car: Powerful, spacious, beautiful, practical, fashionable.

Disadvantages of the car: As soon as I took it from the showroom, I was eating buckets of gasoline 25 liters per 100 km until I changed the engine with an automatic transmission and knocked out the catalyst, consumption began to drop by 5-8 liters, changed the oil, drained the vaunted Total Quartz 5 W30, poured Idumitsu 5W40, also changed 7.5 liters in the box as on the Solaris I replaced it, drained it, then filled it with a hose where it is marked in yellow, 1 liter is drained from there, and I pour a liter, 1 liter for the rear axle, 1 liter for the coupling, and in the end 9-11 liters.

Your review or advice to future owners: Drive it in and change all the fluid as well, coolant antifreeze, bullshit, antifreeze or yellow antifreeze is better

Year of purchase and mileage: 2017. mileage 12300 km.
Equipment: 2x4, 1.6, automatic
Your average consumption: 8/11 city/highway

Advantages of the car: The main thing is driver comfort. It is comfortable to sit, all controls are at hand and in their place. The car is easy to drive and rides very smoothly. High rise. Visibility is excellent.

Disadvantages of the car: The near one is still fine, but the far one is absolutely terrible. The beam is too diffuse. Hard plastic in the cabin.

In the front-wheel drive version, the Creta looks like an SUV only in appearance. If you need a car for fishing or the forest, it’s better to take an all-wheel drive one.

Year of purchase and mileage: 2017, 32 000
Equipment: 1.6, 123, front-wheel drive, automatic
Your average consumption: 10.8

Advantages of the car: Many people wrote that the creta was rotting, but so far everything is fine with me. The suspension is smooth and does not let joints and uneven surfaces into the interior. The steering wheel is not high speeds very light, gets heavier at high speeds. There is no need to taxi up to 140. The automatic transmission on the Crete is good, the shifts are smooth without kicks or pokes.

Disadvantages of the car: The 1.6 engine is rather weak. If it’s still normal in the city, overtaking on the highway is annoying. Sound insulation is rather weak. Middle and high beam Not good

Your feedback or advice to future owners: If you take a two-liter one. General impression It's spoiled by the dealer who gives the car only with extras starting from 50 thousand. And this is a well-balanced car for the money.

Crash test of the Hyundai Creta from Autoreview

Posted by Mikhail, Moscow in 2018

During the first maintenance there was a knock in the stabilizer link, I am replacing it under warranty. But the spare parts are taking too long, it’s already the second week. They did not provide a replacement car. Consumption is about 11 liters per hundred in the city, but this is without a floor-slipper on the manual. The body does not rust. Doesn't break through the suspension. Apart from waiting for spare parts everything is ok.

Future owners, do not skimp and take a two-liter engine. The 1.6 can’t pull that much weight. As for the suspension, everything is fine. At speeds up to 130 km/h it holds the road confidently, but above that it begins to wobble. The headlights are excellent, but the sound insulation is poor. For the city normal car, but the price is too high.

Complete chaos!!! The salon is ready to spoil the car only with a bunch of pre-installed equipment and all sorts of options, such as “roadside assistance”. The bank is ready to issue a loan only in conjunction with life insurance for the owner, his wife, hamster and aquarium fish. They impose absolutely everything!!!

There are no complaints about the machine itself. It steers well and easily. I quickly got used to the dimensions. Not very fast acceleration, but that doesn't matter to me.

I bought a Hyundai Creta with a two-liter engine and an automatic transmission. For those who are choosing between 1.6 and 2.0 and between all-wheel drive, I say right away - take two liters and all-wheel drive. The attitude towards driving and the sensations from it are completely different. Accelerating on slushy snow or exiting a secondary road will immediately cease to be a problem.

Among the identified disadvantages and strange features:

Strange operation of the automatic, if you don’t press the gas pedal in a straight line, the automatic starts to shift gears down and brake with the engine and drive at higher speeds. I don’t know how long it will last in this mode.

Consumption in winter is about 12 liters.

Very stubborn dealers. Until you get the extra lights, they won’t sell you the car. Like there are many of us (customers), but few cars.

I didn’t like the light, both low and high.

The automatic transmission does not have its own dipstick! You need to heat the oil, drive it onto the overpass, unscrew the plug and look at the level, it should be under the plug. Here is the twenty-first century, the century of computer technology.

I'm not used to electric amplifier settings. On low speeds, for example, parking mode, the steering wheel turns easily. But at speed it gets heavier and seems wedged

When you press the brake pedal, braking begins immediately, and not at the end or middle of the pedal stroke.

Large rear pillars, as a result, a large dead zone.

The front overhang is too large.

The power window buttons are not illuminated.

I was looking for something new for the family. I was choosing between Renault Capture, Duster and Hyundai Creta. I didn’t like the first one for its unsightly appearance, the second one for its “flashy” appearance. And the Hyundai Creta is calm, but a little angular. I didn’t consider a used one, having played enough with an old Opel in my youth.

When purchasing, I was a little discouraged by the manager’s message about the need to purchase additional items. equipment worth at least 50 thousand rubles, otherwise they won’t sell the car.

The dynamics in the city with a 1.6 engine and an automatic transmission are quite enough. But when overtaking on the highway, it is better to have a couple of seconds in reserve. Yes, this engine still roars like crazy, spinning up to 6000 rpm.

Overall, the car is quite harmonious on the outside and spacious on the inside. The suspension is moderately elastic. The trunk is enough for four bags from the supermarket, and I don’t need more.

The main part of the components from which the Hyundai Creta is made comes from China. And repaint all the bugs future owner will be at your own expense, since the guarantee only applies to through corrosion. I bought a new car - add another 17 thousand to repaint the element. Dog eaters constantly save on everything. Cheap plastic, cheap metal, less paint - cheap car. But all manufacturers followed this path.

Hooligans broke the glass on my trunk door. The approval between the insurance company and the service station went quickly, but the glass took 1 month to arrive, despite the fact that the car was being assembled in St. Petersburg.

Dear future Hyundai owners Creta, when you buy this car you get a slightly raised Solaris. But you overpay 150-200 thousand rubles. If you think that on the road you will be perceived as a wealthy owner of a Big Black Jeep, then you should be disappointed. Most people frankly don’t give a damn about this.

I bought a Hyundai Creta in the Active configuration with front-wheel drive, 1.6 engine and AT at the beginning of 2017. I wanted a car with an automatic transmission, the price is no more than a million, a crossover and availability in the cabin. Now I’m already approaching the second maintenance at 30,000. Among the breakdowns, my tire pressure sensor is constantly on, which was turned off at the tire shop when the wheel was changed. Rust spots I haven't seen it yet. Among the shortcomings: the 1.6+AT combination frankly does not pull, when overtaking above 100 km/h it roars, but does not move. I recommend that future owners consider the option with the 2.0 engine; the seats are not comfortable, if you drive more than 1000 km, your back starts to hurt; fog lights they don’t light up to indicate that they are on or not; budget salon.

Overall, it's worth the money. Budget crossover dammit, this is not a complaint against Hyundai, but rather against the country’s leaders.

Is it worth buying Hyundai Creta (2017-2018)?

👌 Hyundai Creta is a universal car, behind the wheel of which you can imagine a young lady who recently passed her license and a pensioner taking seedlings to the dacha. But at the same time it is very ambiguous. On the one hand, it's Korean compact crossover, with excellent ergonomics and controllability. Suspension, engine and gearbox settings allow you to enjoy driving. But on the other hand, this is a slightly raised Solaris with Chinese pedigree for a million rubles, in which side airbags and a heated windshield can only be obtained in the top configuration.

  • Advantages and benefits
  • Ergonomics, all elements are comfortable and in their place
  • Steering and suspension settings
  • A full six-speed automatic is available.
  • Both engines are not excessively gluttonous
  • Disadvantages and cons
  • Marketing policy when creating packages
  • Poor sound insulation
