Kalina has a fuse box in a special mounting block. In the event of problems with electrical equipment, these elements are to blame in almost 90% of cases. However, not every motorist has a fuse layout, which makes it much more difficult to identify a breakdown.
Where are the components located and how do I replace them?
The Kalina fuse block is located under the size switch bushing. Detailed scheme with their location is marked on the inside of the cover. The mounting block itself is located in the cabin, it can be found on the left side of the driver. To get inside, just remove the lid. Under it are all the switches responsible for controlling the lighting devices.
Any problems associated with electrical equipment must be looked for in the fuses. In many cases, the problem is related to the burnout of one component.
Opening the cover of the mounting block, you can see the circuit and the fuses themselves. There are both working and spare parts. Devices of the latter type are located on the right side, their number does not exceed 4 pieces. Next to them are special tweezers, with which the components are easily removed.
The layout and principle of operation of each fuse is indicated on the cover. Dealing with this issue is easy. According to the diagram, the letters K indicate all relays, and F - fuses. It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the F parts go first, and then the K.
The fuses and relays are arranged in a certain order, which makes it easier to work with them. To understand the essence of the issue, it is necessary to give generalized notation. So:
- F1 - F31 are responsible for the fuses;
- K1 - K6 - large relays;
- K7 - K12 - smaller parts.
Number 1 is a small tweezer, number 2 is a large one.
Fuses for the Kalina cigarette lighter are located in the same block that is located in the passenger compartment.
Preparatory measures must be taken to replace components. First of all, all terminals are disconnected, this will make it possible to secure the course further action. Then the replacement process begins. It is necessary to open the cover of the mounting block and find the faulty parts. This must be done according to the presented scheme. Remove with tweezers defective element. You can identify the faulty component by thread.
In some cases, it is visually intact, but the connection is broken. The condition of the part can only be assessed with an ohmmeter. Removal of the part is easy, after its removal it is installed new device, and the unit cover closes.
Anyone can do this kind of work. It is enough just to disassemble the location of the fuses and do everything according to the diagram presented.
List of existing elements
To facilitate work, a diagram showing the location of the fuses and all elements in the mounting block will be presented below. Under the designation F1 is the element responsible for the operation of the immobilizer. F2 is the power windows, F3 is the alarm control switch, F4 is the glass cleaner, F5 is the power assist unit, and F6 is the horn.
F7 includes a whole combination of elements that provide lighting in the interior of the Kalina hatchback. Under F8 is heating rear window, and F9 and F10 are responsible for the work parking lights. F11 is the block responsible for the functioning of the immobilizer, and F12 and F13 are the dipped beam.
In Kalina hatchback there is a block that controls the operation of the electric booster, it is designated by the number F27, and the F28 element (closely connected with the ABS system).
F14, F15 and F16 - high beam and fog lights. F18 - maintaining heating. F19 is ABS, F20 is cigarette lighter operation, F21 blocks reverse, and F22 is power accessories. Reserve components for Kalina station wagon are designated F23, F24, F25.
In addition to these elements, the circuit also includes a relay. As mentioned above, they are under the letter K. K1 is the element responsible for the headlight washer in the Lada Kalina station wagon. K2 and K3 - power windows and starter circuit, K4 is considered an auxiliary relay. K5 are responsible for direction indicators if necessary alarm. K6 - work of cleaners and washers of glasses, K7 - inclusion high beam. K8 is responsible for sound, K9 - headlights, K10 and K11 - heated windows and seats. K12 is a backup relay.
Where all these elements are located has been repeatedly indicated above. Simply open the cover of the mounting block and familiarize yourself with its contents.
It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that each fuse on Kalina has its own color. This greatly facilitates the operation and understanding of the functioning of the entire system. The hue is completely dependent on the strength of the current, such coloring avoids a short circuit.
Mounting block the relay and fuse is located to the left of the steering column on the instrument panel.
Be sure to disconnect the negative battery terminal before replacing relays or fuses.

Every car owner wants his " iron Horse"always remained faithful, fast, reliable, and the owners of the Lada Kalina model are no exception. One of common problems domestic auto industry- malfunction of electrical appliances. If this problem has also affected you, you should not immediately go to the service station and pay a lot of money to mechanics. First of all, you need to check the fuses on the Kalina. You can do it yourself at no cost.
Where are the fuses on the "Kalina" and why are they needed
Each car is equipped with a fuse box. "Kalina" of the first generation has 3 such devices in its configuration: mounting, control and additional. The second generation model, or as it is also called "Kalina 2", is equipped with 2 blocks.
These elements are necessary not only to protect all electronics of the car from combustion, but also prevent the occurrence of a fire, because. in the event of a short circuit, they take over the entire load. In this case, the fuse itself fails, thereby stopping the supply of current to the electrical appliance.
Fuse types
Fuses are classified into cylindrical and knife. The first ones were used Russian cars old sample. Knife-type elements are considered safer, more convenient and are used in all Lada Kalina cars.
Also, fuses differ in the value of the rated current indicated on the body and size. In addition, for each value, the maximum admissible current corresponds to its color, which also allows you to distinguish fuses without much difficulty.
Mounting block
It is located under the instrument panel for controlling dimensions and headlights, on the driver's side to the left of the steering wheel. In this block, the Kalina fuses are responsible for the safety of almost all installed electrical appliances. The location of the auto fuse mounting block of the 1st and 2nd generations is the same, but its layout is different.
The decoding of the Kalina fuses of the 1st and 2nd generations is presented below.
control block
On the "Kalina" of the 1st generation, it is installed under a cover in the center console. The fuses in this box protect the most basic electronics. There is also a connector for injector diagnostics. On a 2nd generation car, the unit is located under the hood, in the engine compartment.
Additional block
Only Kalina 1 has such a fuse box. It is located under the center console panel, at the bottom on the passenger side.

Replacing fuses
In order to remove the Lada Kalina fuses from the socket, there are 2 tweezers in the mounting block. Big size designed for relays, smaller - for fuses. You can understand the health of what is described by the fusible insert. If this insert is melted, then the latter must be replaced.
When replacing, it is necessary to use exactly the same fuses that were installed on the Kalina by the manufacturer. It is strictly forbidden to use a fuse with a larger or smaller rated current. If you replace with an element of a smaller value, then it will simply burn out right away, because. will not be designed to pass the necessary current to turn on the appliance. If you replace the fuse with a larger value, then in the event of a short circuit, it will not stop the flow of current. IN best case under such circumstances, it will burn out and disable the electrical appliance for which it is responsible. At worst, there is a possibility of a fire in the wiring, and with it the car itself.
Very important! Before manipulating the fuses of the Lada Kalina or another car, you must remove the terminal from the battery.
Fuses are long-life parts of a car. Therefore, if you have to change them often, then you need to seek help from electricians at the service station.
The fuses and relays for the engine management system are located in the center console of the instrument panel.

Before replacing a fuse, it is necessary to determine and eliminate the cause of its blown. In order to avoid failure of electrical equipment elements, fuses with an increased rating or home-made fuses should not be installed.
Execution sequence
1. We prepare the car for work and disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.
Before replacing a fuse, the cause of the blown fuse must be determined and repaired. In order to avoid failure of the elements of the engine control system, fuses with an increased rating or home-made fuses should not be installed. Sometimes the thread of the fuse remains intact, while its connection inside the fuse is broken. It is impossible to visually determine such a malfunction. In this case, you can evaluate the condition of the fuse using an ohmmeter. Full description viburnum fuses you will find below.
