PURPOSE AND PRINCIPLE OF ACTION

The BASTA system models BS-911, BS-911Z, BS-911W, BS-912, BS-912Z, BS-912W (hereinafter referred to as the system) is designed to protect the car from theft and seizure.

The system consists of an indication unit, a blocking relay and key fob tags (hereinafter referred to as tags). No action is required from the driver to enable or disable the anti-theft functions. You just need to have a label with you. When a tag is detected, the system allows you to freely use the car. In the absence of a label, the system will block the operation of the engine.

Transmission of dynamically encoded signals between the display unit, labels and blocking relay is carried out via a radio channel in the frequency range of 2.4 GHz.

In the absence of a label, the system provides control using a secret code.

Indic block

–  –  –

A maximum of two tags and a maximum of four relays can be used with the system. By factory settings, the system has two tags and one blocking relay included in the delivery.

Replacement and overwriting of tags in case of their loss or malfunction can be carried out independently (see Installation Recommendations, section "System Setup") or with the help of specialists from the installation center. The interlock relays are once programmable and cannot be re-written to this or another system.

When purchasing the system, check the completeness of the delivery in accordance with the list in the "PACKAGE SET" section.

After installing the system on a car in the installation center, you should be given:

2 tags, pouch for carrying the tag on the belt;

warranty card.

Electronic versions of the documents are posted on the official website of Altonika (www.altonika.ru).

For all questions that arise during the operation of the system, please contact the company that installed the system on your car.

CONTROL AND INDICATION

Tag It is an electronic buttonless key fob (see Fig. 2).

The system is controlled automatically - the system must recognize the tag. The range of the tag identification zone is at least 3 meters.

During the trip, there should not be massive metal objects near the mark. The presence in the identification zone of both labels included in the delivery set is undesirable.

The absence of a tag or its successful identification is accompanied by sound signals "tag found / tag not found" of the indication unit (see Table 2), as well as luminous pictograms (see Fig.

Sound signals of the absence/identification of the tag can be turned off when setting up the system (see Appendix 1).

SYSTEM OPERATION

Start of movement - "Immobilizer" mode

The immobilizer (automatic blocking of the engine) turns on 10 seconds after the ignition is turned off - the icon starts flashing red with a period of 3 seconds.

To disable the "Immobilizer" mode, the system must recognize the tag. Depending on the system settings, the search for the tag is carried out automatically immediately after the ignition is turned on, or after pressing the front panel of the display unit with the ignition on.

To start driving (ignition off, Immobilizer mode on, icon blinking red slowly):

–  –  –

If the label is recognized, the display unit of the system will give sound signal“mark found” (see Table 2), the icon will glow blue for 3 seconds - you can go.

If the tag battery is discharged, after the “tag found” signal, the display unit will give an additional sound signal “tag battery is discharged” (see Table 2), and the icon will continuously glow red until the ignition is turned off.

The “tag missing” beep is disabled by default and can be enabled in the system settings (see below).

Attachment 1). In this case, if the tag is not recognized within 10 seconds, the display unit will give a sound signal "the tag is missing".

Sound signal "tag found" can be disabled in the system settings (see Appendix 1).

SYSTEM OPERATION

Continued driving - AntiHiJack mode AntiHiJack mode (protection against capture) is an automatic continuous search for a tag when the ignition is on in order to identify the driver in order to prevent possible unauthorized operation of the car.

Depending on the system settings (see

Appendix 1) tag search in AntiHiJack mode can be performed in one of two ways:

method number 1 - from the moment the ignition is turned on until it is turned off;

method number 2 - from the moment the door is opened with the ignition on and until 6 minutes after it is closed.

If during the continuous search the system fails to detect the tag within 90 seconds, the icon will start flashing red quickly, and the display unit will turn on warning sound signals of loss of connection with the tag or relay in the AntiHiJack mode (see Table 2). If, after 30 seconds, the mark is still not found, the engine will be blocked.

Hearing warning signals action must be taken to stop the vehicle. Blocking the engine while the car is moving can lead to emergency situations.

Warning sound signals of loss of connection with a tag or relay in AntiHiJack mode can be disabled in the system settings (see Appendix 1).

–  –  –

After the lock is turned on, the search for the tag continues (the icon flashes red quickly) and when it is detected, the system unlocks the engine, giving the “tag found” signal. You can start the engine and continue driving.

1. The AntiHiJack mode is enabled by selecting one of the label search methods when setting up the system. Both methods cannot be selected at the same time.

2. When turning off the "Immobilizer" mode using a secret code, the AntiHiJack mode does not turn on.

3. If both methods of searching for a tag are prohibited in the system settings when the ignition is on, there is no AntiHiJack mode. In this case, the search for the label occurs only when the ignition is turned on, and the label must be located no further than 30 cm from the display unit.

SYSTEM OPERATION

The "TO" mode (maintenance) The "TO" mode is used when the car is handed over for service.

In TO mode anti-theft functions systems are disabled (the engine is not blocked), the icon is permanently lit in blue. When the ignition is turned off, a long (3 seconds) beep sounds.

When transferring the car to the service department, do not give the tags!

Switching on the "TO" mode

2. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Wait for the light and sound signals "tag found"

(see Table 1, Table 2).

3. Not later than 5 seconds after the “tag found” signals, press and hold the front panel of the display unit until two short and one long beeps are received (if no signals were received within 20 seconds, turn off the ignition and try to enter again).

4. After two short beeps and one long beep, release the front panel of the display unit.

The pictogram will start glowing blue - the "TO" mode is on. If the front panel of the display unit is held for more than 3 seconds after the signals are given, the "TO" mode will not turn on.

BASTA system model BS-911/BS-911Z/BS-911W/BS-912/BS-912Z/BS-912W S/N

Company "Altonika" - Russian company, which has been on the market for a long time and specializes in the development and production of various protective and security systems. The most popular product of Altonika is the anti-theft system. Black Bug.
One of the latest developments, presented at most exhibitions in 2008 and garnering a large number of positive reviews, is the BASTA microimmobilizer. This product is designed specifically to protect the car from seizure and theft.

To control the BASTA 911W anti-theft system, the owner only needs to carry a key fob with him, recognizing which the display unit (installed in the car) will not prohibit the use of the car. The system operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, which makes the signal more crypto-resistant and increases the range of the key fob signal. Up to 4 relays can be installed in the BASTA system, including several types of anti-theft relays. The BASTA microimmobilizer is very easy to install, but it is very difficult to neutralize it for intruders, which is why this system is so convenient and popular.

Anti-theft protection is implemented using an anti-theft relay and can be implemented in several ways.

If, when starting the engine, the immobilizer unit did not detect a tag signal, then after the car starts moving, the engine will block for a minute, a malfunction is simulated. It will be possible to continue the movement only after the block is connected to the key fob.
- When the ignition is turned off for a minute, the immobilizer is activated, which activates the automatic blocking of the engine. Disabling the blocking and the immobilizer is possible only after the unit and the key fob are connected.

Capture protection is also implemented in 2 types:

The immobilizer constantly communicates with the key fob (AntiHiJack function). If there is no signal for 2 minutes, a malfunction is simulated and the car stops. After that, the display unit will also look for the key fob signal, upon detection of which the engine will be unlocked.
- The second version of the AntiHiJack mode activates the search for a tag after opening / closing the door.

Components and principle of operation of the BASTA 911W microimmobilizer:

The BASTA anti-theft system consists of three components: a transponder tag, an indication unit and a Hook-2.4 blocking relay. The label is a guarantee of the presence of the owner in the car and allows the system to work correctly. In total, 2 tags can be entered into the system, while it is possible to delete an entry and make a new one. The tags of the Basta system are distinguished by a rather long range of action - the signal is read at a distance of up to 5 meters.

The system display unit is installed in the car interior and serves as a transmitter of the signal coming from the key fob to the blocking relay. Sound and light signals display units make system management simple and clear. Also, the display unit performs the function of an additional label. In the event that the owner has forgotten or lost the transponder, it is enough just to enter a pre-set secret code into the display unit, and the anti-theft relay will turn off.

EQUIPMENT

The BASTA system is a micro-immobilizer designed to protect against theft and capture. When developing a system Special attention was given to increase the range and signal strength between the components of the system. The BASTA system is distinguished by an increased cryptographic strength of the channel and the range of the tag signal. High-speed data exchange between system elements provides increased signal cryptographic strength and reliably protects the system from electronic hacking. The signal that regulates the operation of the system is under reliable protection and is practically uninterceptable due to the 2.4 GHz frequency used.

Components and principle of operation
The BASTA anti-theft system consists of three components: a transponder tag, an indication unit and a Hook-2.4 blocking relay. The label is a guarantee of the presence of the owner in the car and allows the system to work correctly. In total, 2 tags can be entered into the system, while it is possible to delete an entry and make a new one. The tags of the Basta system are distinguished by a rather long range of action - the signal is read at a distance of up to 5 meters.

The system display unit is installed in the passenger compartment and serves as a transmitter of the signal coming from the key fob to the blocking relay. Sound and light signals of the display unit make the system control simple and clear. Also, the display unit performs the function of an additional label. In the event that the owner has forgotten or lost the transponder, it is enough just to enter a pre-set secret code into the display unit, and the anti-theft relay will turn off.

Theft protection
When the car's ignition is turned on, the display unit "looks" for the label. If a signal is received, the anti-theft relay turns off, the engine starts and you can move on. The Hook-2.4 anti-theft relay is mounted in the car's standard wiring, so it is very difficult to detect and dismantle it. If the system does not find the label, then when you try to start the car, the engine will be blocked.

Capture protection
The Basta system constantly checks for the presence of a signal at regular intervals. This feature is called AntiHiJack. If no signal is received, Basta will simulate an engine failure and stop the vehicle. This makes it possible to prevent possible use car by intruders.
If during the continuous search the system cannot detect the tag within 2 minutes, the engine will be blocked. After turning on the blocking, the search for the tag continues, and when it is detected, the system will unblock the engine. You can start the engine and continue driving.

Purpose and principle of operation of Basta immobilizers

BASTA system is a micro-immobilizer that makes it impossible for the car to move and reliably protects it from burglary and theft. The BASTA anti-theft system has increased the range and strength of the signal between its elements. In addition, the distance of the tag signal has been increased. The signal is transmitted at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, and this high-speed communication channel has increased cryptographic strength and reliably protects the system from interception of information and electronic hacking.

Components and principle of operation of the BASTA system

Anti-theft system BASTA consists of three elements: an indication block, a Hook-2.4 blocking relay and a transponder tag. The tag is necessary to confirm the presence of the owner in the car and ensure correct operation anti-theft system. The BASTA system provides for the possibility of entering two marks and correcting (deleting an existing one and adding a new one) an entry. BASTA system tags have a fairly high signal range: it can be read at a distance of up to five meters. The signal is transmitted from the key fob to the relay that blocks the engine through the system display unit, which is installed in the car. Controlling the system is simple and convenient thanks to the sound and light signals of the display unit, which also serves as an additional label. If the owner of the car has lost or forgotten the transponder tag, to disable the blocking relay, you must enter your secret code into the display unit.

Theft protection

At the moment the ignition is turned on, the display unit waits for the tag signal and, when it receives it, turns off the engine blocking relay, the car starts and can start moving. The Hook-2.4 anti-theft relay itself is connected to the car's standard wiring, so it is difficult to find and dismantle it. In the event that the signal from the tag does not arrive at the display unit, when trying to start the engine, the anti-theft relay blocks it and makes the car immobile.

Capture protection

BASTA system performs regular monitoring of the signal after a certain time. This function is called AntiHiJack. When the signal disappears, the system simulates an engine failure motor vehicle and stops him. Such an effective countermeasure against theft does not allow attackers to use the car. The engine block is activated when the anti-theft system does not receive a tag signal for two minutes. Subsequently, if after a while the signal of the tag again enters the display unit, the engine will be unlocked, the owner will be able to start the car and move on.
