Checking the fuse by measuring resistance is performed according to the following algorithm:

1. Set the multimeter to resistance measurement mode or "continuity" mode (the second mode is preferable, but not all multimeter models have it).
2. With the ignition off, remove the fuse from its seat.
3. With one probe touch one contact of the fuse, and with the other to the other.
4. If the fuse is intact, then the resistance value will be 0, in the "dialing" mode, the multimeter will beep. If the fuse is blown, then the resistance value will be equal to infinity, and in the "dialing" mode sound signals will not follow.

If the fuse case is made of transparent plastic, then its condition can be assessed visually. In a working fuse, the wire inside will be intact, and in a failed fuse, it will be broken.

If the fuse is intact, then you should check the power circuit behind it. In this case, it is impossible to give unambiguous recommendations, since everything depends on the specific closer model, wire installation method, machine model, and so on.
