The main plus of Lada Priora is the motor. The first 2500 km did not lift more than three thousand, but even then there was a feeling that the car was capable of accelerating very well, especially from 20-30 km / h to 70-80, which is important in the city. Here the engine is always enough to dive into your pocket, rebuild. On the track, of course, sometimes you want more, but it's still quite worthy, from 100 to 140 in 4th gear it is still gaining, it is difficult further. Clocked up to 180, then the straight line was not enough. Not her speed, of course. On a more or less decent road, 120 km / h holds well. The second main plus of Lada Priora is large mirrors. Or even huge ones. Perhaps thanks to them, the dimensions of the car are felt one hundred percent. City consumption from 8 to 10 liters, even in the worst traffic jams. On the track, the record is 5.3 liters. 5-6 thousand are spent on gasoline per month. For 9000, nothing has broken or bothered yet. Still, a new car is a class. The suspension on the Lada Priora is very soft, sometimes it even makes you feel sick. On the track, of course, he clings with all his might, but holds it badly, you always need to be concentrated and not be distracted. Well, this probably applies to the entire "B" class. Strong rolls and body swing. You fly out of the seats all the time. The seats, by the way, which seem to have some kind of lateral support, in fact do not have it, and are also very uncomfortable for a "long distance" - two hours and the back aches. Noise isolation - you don't even have to write, it is basically absent. The steering wheel is simply "empty". In parking lots and at low speeds, it is easy to turn it, it is a pleasure, but on the highway there is little pleasant. The clutch is very tight, in a city with a small number of cars and traffic jams you will not notice it, but in Moscow it is not so simple. For the whole day, the leg, of course, is very tired. I will not evaluate the Lada Priora as a car that gives pleasure, comfort of movement, and simply that it is pleasant to own. But as a faithful assistant and trouble-free workhorse, I will rate it at 5 plus.

At night, the backlight is not annoying, everything is in the same tone with the backlit dashboard and buttons, the speakerphone via Bluetooth with the phone also pleased (there are a lot of mobile conversations), the "flash drive" does not stick out outside (it is connected in the glove compartment), and in general it plays well, I not a special music lover, enough. The air conditioner is excellent, I have not traveled with air conditioners before, but here the cabin is clean, cool. Moreover, the last 2 summers have been very warm. Many in the reviews write that the Lada Priora "walks" at speed. On the contrary, it holds perfectly, the higher the speed, the harder it presses. The Kirov-Ukhta highway, the section from Yemva to Ukhta - 200 in the easy. Of the breakdowns during this time: low-beam lamps, 10-15 pieces, mostly from the driver's side. It is very inconvenient to change. Racks "died" at 53 thousand km. Who likes it harder - put the sport, no rolls in the corners. The rear left wheel bearing "died" by 12 thousand, and it just fell apart, did not even buzz. Then 2 more pieces. on the same side, even imported ones did not help. Satisfied with the car, a good "workhorse". I think that I will roll up to 100 thousand km and take a new Lada Priora, just not a white one.

I will try to objectively describe the impressions of the new "Priora", maybe someone will help in choosing. This is the second car in the family - my father bought it. There is also a 7-year-old VAZ 2110 with a range of 155 thousand km. So, Lada Priora. Purchased from an authorized dealer at a price of 380 thousand rubles. Completion - "norm". ABS, air conditioning, EUR, electric mirrors, 1 pillow, built-in radio tape recorder, power windows on the front doors. Additionally installed in the cabin fog lights, wheel arch liners, processing. Total came out 396 thousand. What can be said about this car in comparison with the “ancestor” - VAZ 2110. The assembly is much better, the gaps are uniform and small, in the Lada Priora's cabin everything is fine-tuned. The impression is slightly spoiled by the uncovered "self-tapping screws" on the front panel, but these are trifles. They removed the convenient door handles - in vain. Sound insulation has improved - the car is noticeably quieter. The exception is idling. Mutters a little like a tractor. I think that the reason for this is the exhaust system, since the engine at acceleration is clearly less audible than in the "top ten". The built-in tape recorder is, of course, functional, but rather weak in sound. The JVS radio tape recorder with speakers in the front doors and "pancakes" in the back easily replays it by sound. The acceleration of the Lada Priora feels better than the 2110, but it is possible that the impressions are due to a slightly sharper gas pedal. Smoothness of the suspension is worse, even when driving on seemingly flat asphalt it slightly shakes. But it is very dense and works quietly. The headlights are good, bright, both near and far. Immediately change the regular wipers - they creak and do not clean well and are short, plus everything. I didn't like the box - it was tight and rather fuzzy. I heard about the modernization of the box at the factory, but it looks like nothing has changed much. In general, the car is relatively good. If you want a new car for 400 thousand - an option. Competitors - Ukrainian "Lanos" ("Sens"), "Nexia". Among them, Lada Priora looks quite decent.

And this is normal, only slowly, as if kneading a thick porridge. The windows go down normally, back more slowly. Well, in general, everything is in the same spirit. Tolerable. First poured 95, then they began to adjust 92 according to "halva". Without any complaints, if the dynamics have become worse, then quite a bit. The motor is very interesting, not to say that it is rushing straight, but not quite a "vegetable" either. I am a fan of hooliganism a couple of times, clocked up to 200 on my own wheels, at 15 radius more than 180 does not go. But this is according to the speedometer, in real life, GPS shows 10 km less. Lada Priora leaves from Kia Sorento 2.4 175 hp, Hyundai ix 35 2.0 gasoline (diesel analogue "Sportage" is already leaving). Almost all cars of the C class 1.6 type Focus both from the spot and from the move. Nobody else was going to fool around and agreed. The car is light, this is its advantage. At a run of 45 thousand / km, the timing belt was changed, the factory rollers and the pump were alive, according to the locksmith and we did not change them (yes, I know that logically everything changes in assembly, but my retired grandfather did not have the necessary funds for a complete replacement, respectively, only the belt was changed). The native belt was without tears, if desired, you can put it back. On a mileage of 71,000, I completely got the car, I immediately changed the fuel filter (which, by the way, did not change from the factory, in the summer I will clean the nozzles on my own), AU17DVRM candles, an air filter and oil. Total Quartz 9000 5W-40 oil was always poured into Lada Priora and changed in 7-8 thousand. Not so long ago I stopped by for diagnostics, there were no complaints about the suspension, all the anthers are intact and without cracks, the shock absorbers do not snot, in general, complete order. The car is not raped, it drives in the range of 3000 rpm. From breakdowns: about a month ago, the stove stopped blowing in a hot position, it was found that the motor reducer of the heater flap (price 800 rubles) had broken down, the fuses on the F9 25 Ampere stove burned a couple of times, the native battery died in the fall and was changed. Among the shortcomings - LKP, this winter “mushrooms” began to appear on the hood due to chips, while I temporarily covered them with Litol 24, in the summer I will deal with them in more detail. There are plans to shed all the thresholds, doors and fenders with a mixture of cannon fat and mastic (a good thing, you can forget about rust for at least 2 years, I did it on my 99), crickets appeared in the cabin (rear shelf and right front door). In general, while something like this, I like the car, but it has its drawbacks, there are "childhood" diseases, but I want to note that the car has never failed.

Yes, it works like a normal mechanic, only you expect imperceptible switching from AMT, this will not happen here. The clutch works smoothly, so the gears are felt and they are smooth. 1st and 2nd speeds are felt a little more. If a short-term loss of traction occurs on the mechanics when changing gears, everything is the same here. There is also a kick-down mode. If during normal / quiet operation of AMT in the "A" mode, the gears are switched at 2-2.5 thousand, then in the kickdown mode the gears are switched in the region of 3-3.5 rpm. In the "M" mode, the robot honestly holds the gears until the cut-off, although I have not yet fully tested these possibilities with a mileage of 1800 km in just a month. In winter, when there is porridge on the roads, I advise you to use the "M" mode, since in the "A" mode the gear is cut down and yes the car once stalled with a axle box in the snow. Although on a Lada Priora with AMT, the engine will not stall on its own. There is a jamb, it appeared once. In mode "A" at sharp acceleration 1st gear stuck, but it was so. I stood at a traffic light, sharply pressed on the gas, then let it go and again pressed sharply on the gas. Turnover rose to 4.5 thousand (I read about this problem on the forum, transmissions rarely freeze, I was ready for this) switched to "M" mode, shifted the gear, shifted the lever to "A" mode, and everything is fine. If it manifests itself further, I'll go for a flashing. What can I say in comparison with the Lada Priora 2009 and 2015. The suspension has become stiffer, the insulation is better, the handling is even better. I drove a 2009 Lada Priora hatchback of a friend, so I can compare. By the way, many complain that the control is wadded, zero is incomprehensible. I don't notice this in my car. It is controlled perfectly, the brakes are cool, the ABS in the snowy porridge makes itself felt more often. Most likely because of the tires.

By itself, "Lada-2170" is almost a complete restyling of the predecessor model, the well-known "dozen" VAZ-2110. Thanks to the long and painstaking work of designers, the car turned out to be quite attractive and quite modern. Only a similar side view remained of the "ten", otherwise more than two thousand unique and completely new parts of the exterior, interior and technical part were used, and the car's design was supplemented by almost a thousand changes. Actually, the developers achieved what they wanted - for those who did not know in those years, the car looked like a foreign car.

Appearance

"Priora" received a completely new design. The hood, trunk lid, fenders (front and rear), moldings, radiator grill, exterior door handles and optics were developed from scratch. The front and 2170 models have also undergone changes.

Unlike the tenth family, "Priora" received a smoother transition from the roof to the rest of the body, especially in the area of ​​the rear door pillar. "Lada-2170", the engine of which has been substantially modified and updated, has quite good dynamics. The eight-valve VAZ-21116 is economical and produces a relatively small power of 90 liters. with. Despite this, the unit turned out to be practical and very reliable.

The more advanced VAZ-21126, with the same volume, but already sixteen-valve, received more power and potential. Thanks to the use of foreign components, the resource of which is up to 200 thousand kilometers, the reliability and endurance of the unit has increased. In addition, with the correct setting of the on-board computer from the VAZ-21126, you can "remove" up to 110 forces. There is also a version of the 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 120 liters. with., but it is installed in the "Priors" only by the "Super-Auto" tuning studio.

Chassis

When redesigning the car's suspension system, the front struts with barrel springs underwent modernization. But this is practically the only change in relation to the tenth family. The rest of the "Priora" received an updated electric power steering column without a gearbox, which in some modifications was replaced by a standard power steering, a new and more highly efficient braking system, supplemented by BAS and ABS systems. Still, we should separately dwell on the brakes. Remarkably, in 2170, the rear drum brake system was left. As the manufacturers say, the efficiency of such a system is quite sufficient with proper observance of the requirements of traffic rules and speed limits. The new Lada Priora, restyled in 2013, has not received any changes in the chassis.

I would like to add that for all the years of its existence, "Priora" has shown itself to be a fairly practical and relatively inexpensive people's car to maintain, which is quite capable of replacing an old foreign car. Of course, it is already difficult for her to compete with modern cars, and that is why Lada-2170 will leave the market in the near future.

Design features. Lada Priora is a deep modernization of the VAZ-2110, but at the same time, no significant changes were made to the chassis design by the developers. For this reason, the car received an outdated version of the suspension (which, although well adapted to the quality of Russian roads, is not capable of providing the proper level of comfort), verified handling and good directional stability.

Design flaws. Lada Priora does not have a high build quality, which is why there is a low level of accuracy of fitting body elements, which increases the noise level in the cabin, and also contributes to the effect of air currents on the stability of the car. Low build quality is also noted in the Priora salon, which is why very quickly the trim elements begin to "walk", filling the interior with extraneous sounds. The engine vibrates when idling. Generally, engine vibration is caused by loosening of the engine mountings. To eliminate the defect, it is necessary to check the quality of the fastening bolts and the level of wear of the pillows. If the pillows are damaged, they will need to be replaced.

The engine speed is floating. Most often, the cause of the problem lies in the incorrect operation of the throttle assembly due to clogging of its cavities. To normalize engine operation, in this case it is necessary to remove the throttle assembly and clean it.

The engine is "troit". The engine blocking on the Lada Priora is usually caused by air leaks through worn rubber plugs installed in the upper left corner of the engine. To fix the problem, you need to replace the plugs.

Unstable engine performance. The main reason for this problem is a decrease in pressure in the fuel rail caused by a clogged fuel pump strainer. To solve the problem, it is necessary to remove the fuel pump and clean it.

As a rule, most often the problem manifests itself in the winter, and in order to reduce its negative impact on the performance of the gearbox, experts recommend replacing the factory oil with synthetic oil with parameters not lower than 75w90.
