Greetings to everyone reading my review! The story will be about two wonderful managers, Valery Nikolaev and Dmitry Alekseev, as well as about the TS appraiser Nikita Andreev! Guys, thank you. It seemed to me that transactions such as trading in your car and buying a new one were impossible quickly. But we managed it almost in a day. The car you need was in stock, a test drive was carried out, all the little things were selected and the transaction was carried out - all for top level! I'm happy with the car, the Suzuki Vitara is a dream ️ Thank you! I will recommend to friends! You are best!

Good afternoon everyone! On May 6, 2018, I bought a Suzuki Vitara at a showroom on the Enthusiasts Highway. My managers were Alexandra Kuznetsova, and Alexey Devyatkov for trading. I wanted to thank them very much for their work. Alexandra is simply smart, she tried to meet everyone halfway in everything, she is a very nice girl. Alexey is also a competent specialist; my car, which I rented out, was thoroughly inspected and adequately assessed. I was very pleased to communicate with them and the purchasing process was a pleasure. We kindly ask management to find an opportunity to reward these employees. Thank you.

I have lived a long time and the SUZUKI VITARA I recently bought was my thirteenth. And I bought it on April 13th. But the refutation of the “unluckiness” of the number THIRTEEN began with the first steps when visiting the HERMES car dealership on Red Pine Street. Friendliness, desire and ability to answer any question from a potential buyer, high professionalism, knowledge of the car down to the smallest detail... There is no end to the list of positive things you get in the salon. I have something to compare with! And I observed a similar attitude in HERMES on Red Pine towards other customers, young and healthy. This was not compassion for an old woman, a disabled person. This is the SUZUKI HERMES dealer's working style. Unfortunately, not all SUZUKI dealers are SO HELPFUL AND COURTESY. I will not name the dealer where I booked a SUZUKKA car on April 12. But, having bought the car I needed at a more favorable price for me at HERMES, it cost me a lot of work and nerves to return on the 13th the material funds left with the company when making the reservation. Only the “threat” of writing a complaint helped me receive money on the day of arrival. And HERMES on Red Pine to this day maintains the positive that I received when buying a car from them: I have repeatedly received and am receiving advice by phone, because an old lonely woman has many questions about operating a new car. Although my trade-in JIMNY and VITARA are similar. But all sorts of buttons, keys - everything is unusual, unfamiliar. Once I find the time, I’ll open the book and stop tormenting the charming Alexey (Alexey Sergeevich Eltovsky), the brutal Sergei (Sergey Dmitrievich Lepilin) with questions. You will laugh, but I will also service the car at Red Pine, even though it’s not a low beam from my house. I hope that the personnel selected by the management of SUZUKI MOTOR RUS for the station Maintenance will be just as professional, friendly and positive as the sales staff. JIMNY was my friend, serving faithfully for almost 11 years. I hope that VITARA will not disappoint. And buying on the THIRTEENTH will be a happy one! Thank you SUZUKI MOTOR RUS both for the SUZUKI cars and for the competently selected staff. Take care of them - they are the key to your success in our Market. Semenenko Olga Vsevolodovna

SPECIFICATIONS

Full technical specifications for Suzuki VITARA

Two are responsible for the dynamics of the crossover gasoline engines: 1.4-liter turbocharged BOOSTERJET (previously this was a separate modification of the Vitara S) and 1.6-liter. By reducing the weight of engines and increasing their efficiency, it was possible to achieve excellent performance indicators with minimal fuel consumption. Thus, a unit with a displacement of 1.6 liters generates 117 hp, its maximum speed is 180 km/h. The turbocharged engine produces 140 hp. and reaches speeds of up to 200 km/h.

Crossovers with both engines are available for sale in two versions: 2WD and 4WD. The 117-horsepower engine is complemented by a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Powerful turbocharged unit only works in conjunction with an automatic transmission. Fuel economy figures are impressive: between 5.8 and 6.3 l/100 km on the combined cycle, depending on the drive, engine and transmission.

SAFETY

Having decided to buy a Suzuki Vitara 2019 model year, you get a car with an advanced security system. Seven protective airbags, stabilization system in case of deterioration of traction, front and rear parking sensors- this is far from full list safety options with which the crossover went on sale.

When designing the car body, TECT technology was used. It involves the creation of special programmable deformation zones: they will absorb maximum energy in a collision, which will protect people in the cabin.

INTERIOR

You will be strengthened in your decision to buy a Suzuki Vitara after restyling as soon as you find yourself in the showroom. High-quality materials, well-chosen combinations of textures and textures, thoughtful placement of instruments and controls - it seems that you have always driven this car.

The 2019 Vitara has everything you need to make every trip comfortable. Adjust the front central armrest, and put the necessary little things in the niche under it. Switch speeds using the steering wheel paddles. Enjoy all the functions of your smartphone by connecting it to a 7-inch multimedia system. Set up the climate control, and the cabin will always have an ideal microclimate. Load your luggage in one go thanks to the low, wide opening. Volume luggage compartment adjustable using folding seats back row- and in the maximum configuration reaches 710 hp. The characteristics of the new Suzuki Vitara are impressive!

EXTERIOR

Thanks to LED headlights and unusual reflectors with a blue tint, the new Suzuki Vitara 2019 model year looks stylish and attractive. The car is equally good both with the lights on and in the daytime. At the same time, the optics work with maximum efficiency, providing bright and uniform illumination of the road at any time of the day.

In this long post, I’ll tell you where you can get away for three and a half days by car with family and friends, and how to have a really cool time, get a lot of impressions and even relax a little! The last one – really?

I don’t remember when I had a full vacation, when you don’t do anything for a week or more, don’t answer calls or emails for work... so short weekend trips like this are like a breath of fresh air. Moreover, I love being on the road by car; I can be behind the wheel for hours and enjoy it, or just watch with passenger seat to the changing landscapes. What could be better? And then the weekend turned out to be a little longer than usual, due to the holidays, and the review was of the new Suzuki Vitara S, which differs from the usual Vitara in appearance by a grille, silver rear-view mirror housings, and black 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights with red trim. Yes, you probably know it yourself! Well, testing a car while traveling is doubly awesome. We took our friends with us and went to the Carpathians, towards Bukovel.

The present Suzuki difference Vitara S from the regular version is hidden under the hood - this is a new 1.4-liter turbocharged engine Boosterjet developing 140 hp. and 220 Nm. The appearance of this engine means a small revolution for Suzuki, because for the first time in history a turbo engine is installed on a model that will be sold outside of Japan, and not just on local kei cars.

Go!

There were four of us adults and a human cub with an accompanying car seat. Our friends immediately noted the appearance of the car, saying that it was stylish, bright, and even thought that the glossy black roof was a sunroof. But no, it's just an insert of a different color that gives +100 to karma.

Everyone was seated comfortably, everyone had enough legroom and headroom, and it was comfortable to ride. What was immediately noted was the presence in the cabin of a large number of convenient, large storage niches: for bottles, cups and other small items. The plastic is hard throughout.

The interior also differs from the regular Vitara. The S received a new three-spoke steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and other inserts on the front panel.

Trunk capacity 375 liters. (despite the fact that these are far from record figures in the class) it was quite enough for the things of five adults and a unicorn. Yes, the child chose a huge unicorn out of all the toys... Overall, the salon is pleasant.

Among the shortcomings, we can note the operation of climate control. We never managed to cope with it - we couldn’t adapt it to ourselves. If in front it’s good and fresh, then in the back they shout “we’re going to get so sick!” If you do it so that rear passengers We were happy - it’s stuffy in front... The second drawback is the acoustics. The speakers are not a cake...you don’t get pleasure from listening to music, but if you do it for a long time mixed with the sound of the wind coming into the cabin, you make money headache. By the way, here you immediately pay attention to the “can-like” sound of the doors closing.

We left, having resolved all work matters, it was about four o’clock in the afternoon. Destination – village. Polyanytsya, located near Bukovel. There we rented rooms in one of the hotels. More about the hotel itself a little later. We got there in about 10 hours, although it could have been faster, but at night on the unlit, dead roads we behaved as carefully as possible. Roads in the Carpathians are the worst evil. Works here Golden Rule: the quieter you go, the further you'll get. It is worth noting that the suspension has a good energy capacity; it is quite difficult to break through.

The ALLGRIP all-wheel drive system has several modes: Auto, Sport, Snow, and Lock. In automatic mode, torque is sent to the front axle and only when one of the front wheels slips, the rear axle is activated.

The average fuel consumption on the way “there” was 7.5 liters per hundred. We tried to drive economically, in the speed range of 100-130 km/h. These consumption figures are very good for all-wheel drive crossover with a turbocharged engine.

We arrived at our hotel at one in the morning and no one was waiting for us here... All the fences/gates were closed, knocking and calling did not help, we called one of the administrators (phone number from the hotel website), who was not there and he offered us climb over the fence and look there, wake up the one who is on shift, so that they can accommodate us. And so they did. They climbed over the fence, opened the gate, drove the car and went to raise hell with the hotel staff. After this invasion we were safely resettled.

The first half day with “Vitara” went great!

DAY 1 IN THE CARPATHIANS

Getting up early in the morning, we went for a walk around the hotel grounds. She is not big. There is a swimming pool, children's playground, and BBQ area. Everything is clean and well maintained - a pleasant place. The only negative is that the hotel is right on the road and there is no beautiful Carpathian view around, just a dusty road opens in front of you. Then we were invited to breakfast (everything was very tasty and it was different every morning). Hotel price – 400 UAH for a double room + breakfast. By the way, just for reference, for a price of 500 UAH (without breakfast) you can find rooms in very cool, picturesque places.

Khomyak is a mountain located in the southeastern part of Gorgan in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Height - 1542 m, the difference in height compared to the Prut valley is 700-800 m.

Our next point is conquering the top of Mount Khomyak. Of course, we left the car at the foot and hit the road! We thought we could do it in a couple of hours, but the ascent and descent took about five hours. We were exhausted, the heat was taking its toll... But it was worth it. The view is indescribable. The insta-instinct immediately woke up in each of us!

DAY 2

Thanks to body-colored inserts on dashboard and dashboard, as well as red stitching on the seats and steering wheel, the interior looks harmonious and modern.

We spent the morning of the second day by the pool, but in order not to stay too long (we have a maximum program) we went to Bukovel and rented bicycles. Priced at about 150 UAH for 4 hours. The idea turned out to be not very successful, since initially, when you plan such rides, you imagine descending from hills along picturesque forest paths, when your hair flutters in the wind and you breathe in crystal clear air... In fact, everything is a little different. Cheap bicycles are so destroyed by rentals that even riding them on asphalt is uncomfortable and dangerous. For safety reasons, you will not be allowed to ascend and then descend with a bicycle on a lift without experience. But the infrastructure of Bukovel does not provide bike paths and cycling routes. In general, after the first hour of such rides, it became clear that this whole idea was doubtful and the two-wheeled vehicles were returned to rental ahead of schedule.

The front bumper in this configuration looks very stylish. Vertically located running lights and “fog lights” add aggression appearance. But this beauty is the main enemy off-road. The approach angle is 18.2 degrees. This is not very much, so when storming edges or obstacles on off-road you need to be careful

Then lunch, and after that we decided to take a ride along the serpentines of Bukovel in our Vitara S, fortunately that’s where they are and the road is simply excellent! And also found a good place, where presentations of SUVs once took place. The view there is simply incredible, so we stayed there for a while and watched the most beautiful sunset!

And also photos from insta:

DAY 3

In the morning we went to Bukovel to relax in the Voda complex - this is relaxation by the lake + swimming pools, jacuzzi, saunas and all that. Perfect place, really helps you relax and unwind. We stayed there until the afternoon session closed, until 18:00. Price per day – 300 UAH per person. But this was not enough for us on the third day! And in the evening we went in search of the Guk Falls.

The waterfall got its name from the Zhenets stream, which is the left tributary of the Prut River. Moreover, the word “guk”, as local residents say, means “noisy”.

The day ended with a visit to Kolyba. Well, what would it be like in the Carpathians without this?

And early in the morning we had breakfast and set off - home to Kyiv. On the way back we got caught in a thunderstorm. Visibility was almost zero at times. But these complications only made the expectedly tedious journey home even more interesting.

Interestingly, during a thunderstorm, some gas stations did not work and did not refuel cars, arguing that refueling Vehicle prohibited during a thunderstorm. I've never heard of this before.

This is how three days of my little vacation passed. By the way, this is not my first trip to the Carpathians; I can personally note that a long journey in this crossover was not accompanied by the fatigue that I experienced in some passenger cars.

Traveling in the Vitara turned out to be comfortable. Therefore, if you are looking for a car with all-wheel drive, more cross-country ability than a car, and an automatic transmission for reasonable money, you should definitely consider this option. Among the minuses, we can note the lack diesel version, not very high-quality sound from the media system and not the best sound insulation.

Suzuki Vitara S. Price: not determined. On sale: February 2016

For analog watches you can order a dial with hieroglyphs

Just a few days before Vitara test I drove a regular Vitara and was pleasantly surprised. Against the backdrop of the frankly boring Suzuki SX4 (by the way, it has been removed from sale for now - dealers are waiting updated version, which will appear in the fall), this crossover looks prettier and drives better. But here’s the price... For such a “baby”, and even with a naturally aspirated 1.6, almost one and a half million in the “top” is clearly too much. Well, the version with the latest 1.4-liter Boosterjet turbo engine will probably be even more expensive. What does this mean, I think it’s clear? The new product may not even be introduced to our market - that’s what I thought before the trip...

The media system supports the Apple CarPlay interface

However, they invited me for a test, the car was interesting, I had to go. Moreover, they invited me not just anywhere, but to the capital of the Basque Country, Bilbao. I have never been to this part of Spain, and if I had flown here blindfolded, I probably would not have believed that this was Spain at all. After a short layover in warm and sunny Madrid, we landed in the rain and cold. But the flight between the “two capitals” is less than an hour! The difference in vegetation is as colossal as in the weather: there are almost no palm trees, but pine and birch trees are almost more common than in Russia.

Vitara is the only crossover in its class to have LED low beams

The cars were waiting for us right at the airport. Bah, not only the engine was changed here! The new “toothy” radiator grille, made up of chrome boomerang corners, looks much cooler and more aggressive than the regular Vitara, and the LED (!) low-beam headlights, “summed up” by a red border, make the car even angrier. To top it all off, there are black 17-inch wheels (these are only installed on the Vitara S) and red-on-black interior stitching with red rims on the instruments and air ducts. Truly the devil is in the details!

The pedal covers plus rims and red stitching are all that distinguishes the interior of the new product from the regular Vitara

Apart from the red decor and stainless steel pedals, the Vitara S doesn't really show itself off inside. Even the seats are standard, although it’s hard to complain about them: the profile is correct, the fit is comfortable, and there is lateral support. Yes, and sewn into the middle of the seats faux suede holds the rider tenaciously, preventing him from slipping in turns. I tested this the hard way, having become a co-driver for a “hot” owner Lancer Evo. How we were tossed along the serpentines of the Basque hills! Moreover, the pouring rain only irritated my colleague - after all, it’s easier to skid the car this way. But even with the stabilization system disabled, the all-wheel drive Vitara S actively resisted attempts to force it to move with its stern, clinging to wet asphalt, like a cat for a carpet. From the point of view of drive, the result is so-so (and it couldn’t have been otherwise, because the chassis is also standard here), but from the point of view of safety, the car scored five points out of five - the all-wheel drive worked well.

And at the back there are no differences at all...

Realizing that drifting was cancelled, my colleague willingly gave up the steering wheel, and having already rolled out onto the freeway, I realized what the feature of the new product was. With a relatively small weight, the car has excellent power supply. The 1.4-liter “Boosterjet” produces maximum torque already at 1500 rpm and maintains this bar until 4000 rpm, at which the torque of the naturally aspirated “Suzuki” 1.6 only reaches its peak. As a result, the “turbo devil” shoots out like a champagne cork! On the highway, the character of the new product was revealed in full force- I haven’t experienced such a drive behind the wheel of a crossover since I tested the 2.0-liter Tiguan, but that one had more power and a noticeably higher price tag. Here everything is more modest, but you get no less pleasure from driving. And all this with ridiculous fuel consumption - about 8 liters per hundred (Tiguan consumed almost 12). It’s hard to believe, but with excellent dynamics, the 140-horsepower Vitara turned out to be even slightly more economical than the slower 117-horsepower!

And now about the price. Eat good news: the turbocharged Vitara S will cost at the level of the “top” naturally aspirated one, due to the fact that the expensive sliding glass roof will be excluded from the list of equipment of the new product. All other options (and the Vitara S is packed to the brim with them by default) will remain in place. This will give Suzuki sellers additional benefit: after all, there are a lot of crossovers on the market for the same money, but for the same money, with the same dynamics and the same rich equipment - one, two, it’s a mistake.

The Busterjet turbo engine pleases with traction and efficiency

This spoiler is installed on all “top” Vitara

"Red on Black"

Driving

The dynamics are good and fuel consumption is low, but the handling is by no means sporty.

Salon

Everything is very worthy - the only thing I can complain about is the hard plastic

Comfort

Surprisingly spacious (relative to the size of the car). The engine is not annoying with noise, and the suspension is not shaking

Safety

7 airbags, ESP and 5 Euro NCAP stars

Price

Expensive, but if we don’t cross the 1.5 million bar, the model has a chance

Average score

  • Excellent dynamics, comfortable suspension, low consumption fuel, rich equipment
  • High price, small trunk, modest ground clearance

Verdict

It is expected that a Vitara S with an automatic transmission (we won’t have manual cars) will cost approximately the same as a regular Vitara 1.6 with full “stuffing” or a little more. But it will feel like a completely different car, capable of interest not only a narrow circle of Russian fans of the Suzuki brand.

In March this year, Suzuki is launching the S trim level of its compact crossover Vitara. The prefix stands for the new aluminum 1.4-liter BoosterJet turbo engine with direct injection 140 hp Apart from the engine, this crossover seems to be no different from other versions of the car. It has standard settings for suspension, steering and brake system. In short, this Vitara doesn’t even qualify as a warmed-up version of the crossover, let alone a hot one. Therefore, the letter S in the name of this “Vitara” is rather redundant. However, we still have to figure out what kind of “beast” this BoosterJet is.

First impression

First meeting with compact crossover took place last year on winding country roads in the south of France. Vitara was then provided basic configuration with 120-horsepower aspirated. New test drive, already with powerful Suzuki Vitara S will take place in the mountains of northern Spain, near Bilbao.

Yes, perhaps the mountains here are not as high and the cliffs are not as steep as on the Cote d'Azur, but the serpentines with noticeable differences in elevation are certainly no worse here. And it is on them that the difference between the engines is best felt. And believe me, she is colossal.

A little braking before the turn, entry - and you can, in racing parlance, “open up”. Each press of the Vitara S gas pedal at the exit of the next bend is a pure thrill. No failure, no turbo lag. Just a slight pause, which I don’t even want to call a hitch, and the engine immediately wakes up and with the grace of Heidi Krieger “throws” the crossover forward. The fact is that the aluminum Boosterjet turbocharger has very low inertia, so the maximum 220 Nm of torque is available from 1500 rpm and is “smeared” right up to 4000 rpm. For the same reason, the crossover pleases with vigorous pickup in almost the entire operating speed range.

However, the gearbox makes a significant contribution to the overall cause. After all, the new turbo engine also comes with new mechanics. To replace the old one five-speed gearbox a modern six-speed has arrived manual transmission. Her short passes in combination with a not very long-travel clutch pedal only enhances the feeling of acceleration dynamics. Especially on the highway, when the accelerator pedal can be placed on the floor. The tachometer needle, accompanied by the whistle of the turbine, instantly flies up to the red zone.

However, for Russian buyers This innovation is not very relevant. IN dealerships Suzuki will supply our vast homeland only with a two-pedal version of the Vitara S, equipped with a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission.

Conclusion

Overpay for new Vitara The S with its exciting turbo engine is worth a couple of hundred thousand rubles only if you don't like faster and more affordable competitors. For the rest, the already familiar GL+ equipment with a 1.6-liter engine, all-wheel drive and a manual gearbox is suitable.
