As mentioned in my first road post on rusting "steel" Datsun on-DO, I finally found a way out, and my car was painted under warranty. But, as they say, “there would be no happiness, but misfortune would help.” Less than a year had passed after the warranty painting, but by chance the same red spots appeared in the repair areas. So, as in the cartoon about Masha and the Bear, “Dial the number!” Having outlined the essence of the recurring problem, an inspection by an engineer under the warranty of my car is scheduled. Due to the fact that after the repair the warranty period for the painted body parts did not expire, the paint and body shop redid all of its work at its own expense!

But a new “jamb”, which also did not hide itself for long after the winter and came out, namely, the trunk lid, on which the chrome insert flaunts, began to be full of red streaks. We've got it all sorted out! Photo, request, positive response, and the car is back for painting!

Spring 2017.
