We undock the power unit from the transmission and unscrew the mounting bolts of the pillows.
After making sure that nothing interferes with the process with the help of the hoist, you can carefully lift the power unit and remove it from the engine compartment. If any of the elements interferes with this process, it should be removed.

It is advisable to put the dismantled engine on a special stand; the engine can be sold later. This will offset part of the cost of re-equipping the machine.

Installing the engine on a car

The prepared power unit is lifted with the help of a hoist and moved into the engine compartment of the VAZ 2107 for preliminary fitting. The engine is installed in the space allocated to it and the cushion mounts are marked. The installation of the support pads will require welding by a qualified technician.
