How long can the "grenade"

If we talk about the theory of structure, then this is a very durable mechanism. If you comply with all the requirements of production technology, then the screen can, at least drive 100 thousand kilometers. In the best cases, it is able to hold out the entire period of operation of the car. However, drivers often have to change it as a consumable material. And all for these reasons:

The composition of organic acids is reduced, due to which aggressiveness is reduced in relation to polymeric products. Such lubricants are recommended for applying cars in cars of any manufacturers. All loaded elements of hinges are made of high-strength materials, the parts are made with high accuracy and the new hinge has no backlash and gaps. Over time, rubbing details (rollers, balls, housing, separator) wear out and gaps appear.

I want to give advice to those who discovered a breakthrough of the anther and plans to replace it. The boot should be 100% shrus and be sealed. Original products are very expensive and temptation arises to remove the boot and pick up the most suitable analog. Do not do this, do not repeat my mistakes saved 1000 rubles, may further turn into the purchase of a new shrus, which can cost from 5 to 15 thousand rubles.

Also pay attention to the lubricant, especially the tripoid type bearings for it, as there are needle bearings. Therefore, lubricants having solid lubricating additives are unacceptable for bookmarking into the inner Sls, and the composition of which includes molybdenum disulfide, but for the outer lubricant with the Molybdenum disulfide, it is permissible and I will say more even recommended. As you understood that another cause of the premature "death" of the shruss is the wrong lubricant.
