It should be noted that in good condition old oil should not have a sharp bad smell, be dark in color.

Washing the CVT box

As a rule, flushing the variator is required. Especially for this, it is necessary to drain the oil from the box again and remove the crankcase. After this you need to clean inner part crankcase from oil contamination. As a cleaning agent regular will do kerosene. Also, it is necessary to wash the filter, which is designed for deep cleaning. At the end of the work, all dismantled elements should be installed in their place, and oil should be poured into the variator into the box.
