All new frets. What cars are assembled at AvtoVAZ. Working during a crisis

The expected new products of AvtoVAZ 2018 are now being vigorously discussed. Interest in them was also fueled by the company’s president, Nicolas More, who on the eve of the new year 2017, in an interview in Ust-Kamenogorsk, told the public about the prospects model range Lada.

All AvtoVAZ enterprises have been assigned priority tasks:

  • transfer the entire line of manufactured cars to the new X-design;
  • release eight new Lada models within the next 10 years;
  • create a positive attitude of the population towards domestic cars due to a noticeable increase in their quality.

Previously, the Russian auto industry did not spoil us with new products. They were rare, and even then more often in the form of modernization. Now the quantity domestic models decreased, but they are actively developing. Automakers have been announcing new products with enviable consistency lately. It is interesting to look at the new AvtoVAZ 2017/2018 models (photos of the models are located under their descriptions).

This all-terrain vehicle will be the first model, which is planned to be launched at the end of 2017 and included in the full production flow in 2018. It is created on the basis of ordinary Vesta. According to AvtoVAZ President N. Mora, it will cost about 800 thousand rubles, but apparently, it will delight its future owners not only with increased ground clearance, but also with a rich, well-thought-out basic package.

At first, this elongated sedan was presented as a VIP car. It was made in one copy, as an experiment. Then the next one appeared, a little modernized version, and from the beginning of 2018, sales of this modification may already begin on pre-orders.

At the 2016 motor show in Moscow, AvtoVAZ presented this all-terrain sedan, designed on the basis of a station wagon. However, there is still no information about the time the car will be launched on the assembly line. It is possible that such a car will not appear at all, although special problems there should be no such thing with the start of production.

But this car will definitely appear. Another domestic novelty for 2017-2018 is actually ready. It is equipped with a 1.8-liter 150-horsepower engine and has an original steering wheel. Rear mounted disc brakes instead of drum ones, in front - with a diameter of 286 mm versus 260 mm. 18th inch wheels on Continental tires will be supplied to basic configuration. The price tag is surprising - almost a million.

The creators of this all-terrain vehicle have not yet decided whether the car will have all-wheel drive. Without this, the car will be an ordinary hatchback with a plastic body kit and slightly increased clearance. The start of sales is promised at the beginning of 2018. Most likely, consumers will be offered both options: front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

Perhaps this car will appear a little earlier. It does not require a 4 x 4 drive, and everything that is needed to modify the “sport” hatchback has already been tested on the Vesta Sport sedan. Although AvtoVAZ did not announce the release date of the model, we will expect that this promising domestic novelty will appear no later than 2018.

In the fall of 2018, it is planned to begin production of the second generation of the SUV. It has not yet been shown even in prototype form. The car is expected to be larger than its parent; it will remain in both three- and five-door body versions. Under the hood there will be a 1.8 liter engine with 122 horsepower. The transmission will be seriously modernized.

The trunk will accommodate a 90-liter cylinder for refilling with methane. This volume of gas should be enough for approximately 1000 km of travel. Engine power will be 83 hp. when running on gasoline, and a little less - 75 liters. With. – when using gas fuel. Accordingly, the maximum speed will decrease: 123 km/h. instead of 137 km/h.

In 2016, AvtoVAZ presented a stylish conceptual subcompact SUV, made in the corporate X-shaped style. There is still no reliable data on the release time of this model, but there are prerequisites that it will be the end of 2018, although it is unlikely to appear in car dealerships until 2019.

One of the most popular among Russians (and not only!) VAZ models. IN updated version modified struts and body kits will appear, the radius of the wheels will increase (16 inches) and the ground clearance will rise (175 mm). The car will be equipped with an improved engine and GLONASS system.

AvtoVAZ management, in addition to the listed Lada brand models, voiced a desire to introduce another new one to the Russian market budget car at a price lower than the cheapest of their existing AvtoVAZ cars. What kind of car it will be, and when domestic car enthusiasts will see it, is not yet known.

Ulyanovsk new products

Despite the fact that in the light of new transformations at AvtoVAZ, the attention of most car enthusiasts is riveted to it, domestic auto industry It is not limited to this company only. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, and it does not stop there. In 2017, a new model of the UAZ 3170 SUV will be launched on the market here.

The famous “hunter” – the UAZ Hunter SUV – will appear in a new guise. It will be distinguished by increased safety and greater operating comfort than before. Design changes expected dashboard, the gearbox will become smoother.

UAZ Cargo will not be left without an update either. The carrying capacity of the latter will increase from 800 kg to 1500 kg, that is, almost doubling. This will definitely please those who use the pickup truck for commercial purposes.

This is what's new Russian automobile industry 2017/2018 is not exhausted. GAZ recently announced work on a new generation of minibuses “Gazelle – Next”, and its Likinsky division bus factory preparing for release tourist buses for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Electric cars will appear in the Stavropol region by the end of the year. Previously, only science fiction writers in the Science and Life magazine could promise this, but today AvtoVAZ is seriously talking about releasing an electric version of its Kalina - for starters, in the amount of 100 units. Over half a century, the cars of the Tolyatti giant have changed a lot, as has the country that gave birth to them. I suggest we remember how it all began, because without our beloved Zhiguli, as Parfenov would say, it is impossible to imagine us, and even more difficult to understand. So how did the ape become a man?

Our automobile industry began, like the reign in Rus', after the “calling of the Varangians,” only it was not the Vikings who taught us to build cars, but the Italians. The first Zhiguli were a copy of them Fiat models-124. For Soviet people, this car was the embodiment of the dream of a little happiness and a personal means of transportation. In the late 80s, he earned the offensive nickname “penny”. But before, the first VAZ was affectionately called “unit”.

In 1972, a new model, the VAZ-2102, rolled off the assembly line. It differed from the “kopeck” in the presence of a body. As they would say now, the factory workers created a five-door station wagon. This version of the Zhiguli became the best friend of Soviet summer residents, because a lot of potatoes fit in the trunk.

Together with the “two”, production of the more powerful VAZ-2103 began in 1972. New car could accelerate to 100 km/h in just 17 seconds - the fastest car of those years. In addition to speed, the third model could boast of a comfortable interior: there was more space above the head. And plastic linings appeared inside, putting an end to the “bare” metal in the cabin.

In 1980, the “penny” gained new life. The plant produced the VAZ-2105 to replace it. “Five” was called more nobly - LADA-2105. The long-lived model range was produced until 2010 and was considered the cheapest VAZ car.

The “Four” appeared later than the “Five” - the Soviet workers had their own incomprehensible logic. VAZ-2104 was released in 1984. It was created on the basis of the VAZ-2105. The inexpensive and spacious car was loved by citizens for its exceptional carrying capacity - after all, it easily carried almost half a ton of cargo in the direction of the dacha. By the way, the export version of the “four” can be found not just anywhere, but in England!

The most popular in the history of AvtoVAZ was the “six”, which rolled off the assembly line in 1976. It was produced for thirty years, and all this time changes were constantly made to the design, time after time extending the car’s life on the market.

In 1982, the car plant closed the theme of “old classics”. VAZ-2107 became its last representative. The VAZ-2105 was taken as the basis for the “seven”. The cheap seventh model remained one of the best-selling for a long time even after the collapse of the Union.

The classic series was replaced in 1984 by the Samara (VAZ-2108). It would seem nothing special, but this three-door hatchback marked the beginning of the era of front-wheel drive VAZs. True, the model was dubbed the “chisel” for its characteristic wedge-shaped silhouette.

In 1987, AvtoVAZ gave the world a masterpiece - a five-door version of the VAZ-2109 Sputnik G8. In the early 90s, the Nine became the dream car for all the cool kids in Mike caps and Abibas pants. It's funny, of course, but it's better not to joke with them.

The first post-Soviet creation of the plant was the “ten” - VAZ-2110 (LADA-110). Our main complaint about the foreign car. Serial release The VAZ-2110 was planned to start in 1992, but due to the total crisis, the plans gradually shifted by 4 years.

In the 90s in Tolyatti they were mainly engaged in modification early models. So, in 1997, AvtoVAZ gave birth to the four-door sedan VAZ-2115. The girls flirtatiously joked that the “nine” finally had an ass, but for the cool guys this was not an option.

The second wind of AvtoVAZ began in the arms of a sultry woman “Lada Kalina”. The general public saw its prototype back in 1999 in the form of a hatchback, but it rolled off the assembly line only seven years later. Production of the sedan began in 2004. A year later a station wagon appeared. Co sports option Prime Minister Putin introduced everyone. I wonder if he'll take a ride in an electric car?

The real revolution was the Lada Priora sedan. In 2008, the plant, having come under the jurisdiction of the Russian Technologies state corporation, took a deep breath after 20 years of gang wars and celebrated this event by releasing the Priora hatchback, and in 2009, a station wagon. Everything new is well forgotten old. Nowadays it’s difficult to recognize the “top ten” in the Priora, but it couldn’t have happened without it.

A year ago, at the congress of the Union of Mechanical Engineers in Tolyatti, AvtoVAZ presented the Lada Granta car. New model, according to experts, will successfully replace the already familiar Kalina and Samara. There is already a clear evolution from the simplest organism to a thinking being.

Once upon a time, VAZ began building cars with Italians, but in the 21st century the French and Japanese turned out to be nicer to it. In April 2012, Russia saw the Lada Largus high-capacity station wagon - the first joint project of AvtoVAZ and Renault-Nissan Alliance. “Kopeyka” would probably be surprised to learn that she has such a great-granddaughter. Now the company plans to produce modern, comfortable and inexpensive cars, which are adapted to our far from ideal roads.

Interesting things on the web

According to Steve Mattin, chief designer of AvtoVAZ, by 2026 year Lada plans to reschedule new design on all your new car models.

A direct speech from Lada's design director was quoted by the RNS news agency:

“We have a medium-term development plan until 2026, within which we plan to release 12 new models and 11 facelifts and, probably, by the time of its completion the entire model range will be completely updated in the X-Face style. Maybe even earlier."

Steve also assured that any new model released formally by a domestic car plant (remember, since the fall of 2017, the holding company that owns a controlling stake in AvtoVAZ, Alliance Rostec Auto B.V., is 82.5% controlled by the French by Renault), will be produced according to the brand’s new “X-shaped” X-Face style. Moreover, official confirmation was given that the restyled and updated models will also be redesigned to suit the new style.

So what are these 12 new models in the Volzhsky Automobile Plant family that will appear over the next 8 years? Let's talk about updates car line or at least we’ll try to guess what new products we should expect from the plant on the Volga.

Unfortunately, there is still very little information on all the new products that will definitely be released by 2026. Or rather, there is simply no such data. Therefore, we will operate with those that are at our disposal.

Second generation Lada Niva

The utilitarian SUV should be replaced by an ennobled crossover, based on a foreign platform and a transversely mounted engine. The basis will be taken (according to rumors) from the mass budget segment the company's Global Access platform.

The chassis has already begun to be modified in order to increase cross-country ability and off-road capabilities. The Niva should remain just such a car - not afraid of dirt. But at the same time, the SUV model will be much more convenient and prettier.

According to the latest media reports, new Niva should not turn out to be similar to Duster. Most likely, the signature X-shaped styling will be used, which will turn the utilitarian crossover of the 70s into a modern SUV.

Restyled Lada Granta

Model release date: late 2018 - early 2019

Presumably, the “facelift” will make Granta look like. The headlights have a similar design, a stylistically adjusted false radiator grille, the trunk will change with a new stamping for the license plate.

Although there will be changes in the interior, they will be very moderate. On this moment The dashboard is expected to change.

P.S. They are gossiping on the Internet that simultaneously with the start of release of the restyled version Lada Granta Kalina production will be discontinued.

Lada Vesta Cross

Model release date: 2018

Very soon, buyers will be able to appreciate the increased ground clearance of the sedan model. You definitely can’t call it a new model, but the company definitely cannot be denied an updated approach to promoting models.

WITH technical side everything will remain the same. The same engines (1.6- and 1.8-liter variations with 106 and 122 hp), the same gearboxes.

Externally, the Cross model will be distinguished by increased ground clearance, 17-inch wheels and a plastic body kit.

New Lada Granta

Model release date: 2021-2023

AvtoVAZ is working on the following Lada version Granta. The new product will receive new platform Renault Global Access (B0). The model will acquire new appearance in “X” style... That’s all that is known about the new product. The technical data is pitch black, even sketches have not yet been posted on the Internet.

Lada C Crossover

Model release date: unknown

Will there be a crossover for the C-class city or not? A lot was written about it a few years ago, but now little is heard about the project. It is logical to assume that this will be another trump card of the reviving plant. People need different SUVs - inexpensive, beautiful, comfortable.

Sports Lada Vesta

Model release date: 2018

“Charged” and dangerous. Externally, the AvtoVAZ model will change in a “sporty” direction. New bumpers, a spoiler integrated into the trunk lid, a new antenna and side mirrors.

But the main thing is that for the first time in many decades, a model will leave the factory with an engine power of more than 140 hp. With.! In the future, the 1.8-liter engine can be “accelerated” to 189 horses.

New Chevrolet Niva model

Model release date: unknown

ChevyNiva second generation. Not quite a VAZ, of course, but not entirely a Chevrolet either. We wait!

Crossover Lada X-Code

Model release date: 2019

The concept of this full-fledged crossover appeared at the Moscow Motor Show in the summer of 2016. The new styling of the concept was the predecessor of the model, but this is a completely different crossover model, which may appear next year.

The compact crossover will receive VAZ 1.6- and 1.8-liter engines, the suspension may be transferred from Vesta. The style you see is your own.

The construction of a giant of the Russian automotive industry - Volzhsky automobile plant(VAZ)- began in 1967, after careful preparation and selection of a construction site. On July 20, 1966, the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers, having previously analyzed 54 different potential sites, decided on the construction site - it was decided to build a new, largest plant in the Union passenger cars V Tolyatti(Samara Region). The construction was heralded as a shock Komsomol construction project. The Council of Ministers appointed V.N. Polyakov, Deputy Minister of Automotive Industry. general director plant under construction, and Solovyov V.S. chief designer AvtoVAZ. Subsequently, thousands of people, mostly young people, were sent to Tolyatti to build the giant plant. Technical project construction was prepared by the Italian automobile concern Fiat, with which a contract was also signed for the supply of basic technological equipment and further training of specialists.

Already two years after the start of construction, labor collectives of factory workshops began to be formed. Mainly work on VAZ the same young people who built it and installed the equipment walked there. The plant was planned to be so large and powerful, and the start-up time was so limited, that the production equipment for VAZ It was manufactured at 844 machine-building factories of the USSR and 900 factories in other socialist countries, as well as by companies in Germany, Italy, England, France, the USA and other countries.

Thanks to the efforts and hard work of the Soviet people, the first six cars were produced on April 19, 1970 VAZ-2101 « Zhiguli" Thus, the construction was completed 3 years earlier than the 6 years calculated during the design. The design of the first Lada" copied the Italian model Fiat-124 of 1966 in the basic configuration, but with significant modifications. And exclusively Soviet materials and components were used for VAZ cars.

The first stage of the plant was put into operation and launched on March 24, 1971 and was designed to produce 220 thousand cars per year. And at the beginning next year The second stage of the Volzhsky Automobile Plant was put into operation, also designed to produce 220 thousand cars per year, thus doubling VAZ’s production capacity.

The first VAZ model was conceived as low-power (volume four-cylinder engine was 1.2 l; power - 62 hp at 5,600 rpm; maximum speed - 140 km/h) and inexpensive to saturate the huge consumer market of the USSR. Compared to its Italian prototype, VAZ-2101 found back drum brakes(instead of disk ones), which were more durable and resistant to dirt. Taking into account the features of Soviet roads, it was also increased ground clearance, the body and suspension are strengthened. In subsequent years, the first VAZ model was further developed and the equipment was changed. But even in such a (pristine) modification VAZ-2101 was produced until 1982, becoming a popular and truly “people's” car.

In 1972, the second model of the Volga Automobile Plant was released into the world - VAZ-2102, which was actually no different from the first model, converted into a five-door station wagon. This cargo-passenger version of the first Zhiguli became the “best friend” of Soviet summer residents. The vehicle's carrying capacity was 430 kg and increased, in comparison with the VAZ-2101, slightly - by only 30 kg. But more volume luggage compartment was appreciated and gratefully received by the residents Soviet Union. Popularity and fame " best friend summer residents" eventually switched to the VAZ-2102 successor in the form of the fourth VAZ model.

In addition to the universalized model (VAZ-2102), in 1972 the production of more
powerful variation " Lada» - VAZ-2103. The third model was equipped with a one and a half liter engine with a power of 71 hp. at 5600 rpm. The maximum speed of the car increased to 152 km/h. With such characteristics, the Soviet car became quite competitive in dynamics with similar-class Western cars, accelerating to 100 km/h in 17 seconds. The majority of the population perceived this model as completely new, more powerful and comfortable, and, accordingly, more prestigious and expensive. In fact, the VAZ-2103 was only a copy of the “Lux” version of the Italian model Fiat 124 Speciale of 1968. Similar to the first model, italian car was adapted and redesigned taking into account the peculiarities of use on the roads of the USSR. In comparison with the VAZ-2101, the interior of the third VAZ model received significant improvements in the direction of convenience and beauty: the space above the passengers' heads was increased by 1.5 cm, the instrument panel was completely redesigned, the floor was covered with thick fabric carpets, which improved the appearance and sound insulation of the interior. The interior and trunk were trimmed with plastic.

The designers of the Volzhsky Automobile Plant never stopped working on improving the cars they produced. Each new model or even series within one model received new improvements, visual and technical changes. Subsequently, as a result of serious modernization within the second generation rear wheel drive cars VAZ was released in 1980 VAZ-2105 as a replacement for the VAZ-2101, which was no longer produced at that time. The standard equipment of the VAZ-2105 was supplied with a 1.3 liter engine producing 63 hp. The fifth VAZ model with the name LADA-2105 is still in production and is the cheapest option from the entire modern VAZ model range. Low price is ensured primarily due to the minimum standard and obsolete technologies used in the production of this car.

Most popular ever AvtoVAZ became the sixth model released into production
in 1976. Like the older models of previous years, the prototype for VAZ-2106 became an Italian car - the 1972 Fiat 124 Speciale, with changes adapted to our conditions. Therefore, no one could have predicted such super-popularity for an indistinguishable car designed to replace the discontinued third model on the market. Relatively powerful engine VAZ-2106 volume 1.6 l and power 75 hp. allowed to reach a maximum speed of up to 152 km/h. This model was produced until 2006 and throughout its production, minor changes were often made to its design to maintain the popularity of the car and extend its life on the market.

In 1982, the Volzhsky Automobile Plant began production VAZ-2107, which became the last of the “classic” models. The seventh model was based on the VAZ-2105. This car is also one of the best-selling in the post-Soviet market, thanks to its simplicity, reliability and, of course, low price. Now this model is called LADA-2107 and is also produced abroad - in Ukraine and Egypt.

For changing " classics» production began in 1984
front-wheel drive wedge-shaped " Samara» ( VAZ-2108). This three-door hatchback made a splash on the market Soviet cars and started new era production of VAZ cars with front-wheel drive. Three years later (in 1987), the Volzhsky Automobile Plant launched production of a five-door version of this car - VAZ-2109"Satellite". This option was considered more solid, and due to the presence of five doors, it was considered a family version of the G8. The obvious advantages of all cars of the Samara/Sputnik family are good dynamic qualities and a large limit maximum speed, improved handling
all types of roads, powerful bumpers. However, the disadvantages inherent in these particular models were also noted: the suitability of cars for light and quick repairs, compared to classic models VAZ, the ergonomics of the pedals have deteriorated, the engine crankcase and oil receiver have become more vulnerable. Later, in 1990, the car plant released a four-door modification of the ninth model with a sedan body - VAZ-21099"Sputnik/Samara Form". This latest model, which the Volzhsky Automobile Plant began producing before the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The first new model of the Volzhsky Automobile Plant in the post-Soviet space was the so-called “ten” - VAZ-2110(LADA 110). Like most domestic enterprises, VAZ had a hard time surviving the first years of crisis that came with the collapse of the USSR. Therefore, the “tens” model, developed back in 1989, came out with a delay of three years. Instead of the planned 1992, the car plant launched production of a new model - a four-door sedan VAZ-2110 only in 1995, and
gradually began to increase car production. The tenth VAZ model was equipped with two types of engines: an 8-valve 1.5 liter and 79 hp. or 16-valve 1.6 liter capacity 92 hp. This car was rightfully considered a model more high class from the Samara family, capable of competing with such representatives of the foreign automobile industry as Daewoo Nexia, Audi 80, or even Opel Astra first generation.

Continuing the successful experience of modifying previously produced models, in 1997 VAZ began production of a four-door sedan VAZ-2115, which is a restyled successor VAZ-21099. The new model received new cover and trunk spoiler with additional brake light, painted in body color bumpers, new tail lights, streamlined sills, door moldings and new more comfortable interior. Initially, the car was installed carburetor engines with a volume of 1.5 or 1.6 liters, but in 2000 it began to be equipped with an engine with distributed injection fuel.

The newest models of the Volzhsky Automobile Plant are Lada Kalina(Lada
Kalina) and Lada Priora (Lada Priora). According to the European classification, the first belongs to the upper segment of class “B”, and the second to class “C”. Prototype Lada Kalina was demonstrated to the general public back in 1999 in a hatchback form factor, and in 2000 in a sedan form factor. But the production of this car in the form of a sedan was launched only in 2004, and the hatchback rolled off the assembly lines of the car plant in 2006. A year later it was released Lada Kalina station wagon The manufacturer is constantly making improvements and implementing various modifications families Lada Kalina. Also, by 2012 it is planned to carry out a large-scale update of configurations and changes appearance for the entire family of these cars.

Lada Priora
(VAZ-2170) began production at the car plant in March 2007 with a sedan body. Over the next two years, the production of Priora with hatchback (in 2008) and station wagon (in 2009) bodies was launched. Actually Lada Priora is a massively modified successor to the VAZ-2110. This model is equipped with two types of engines: 8-valve 81 hp. or 16-valve 98 hp.

Despite all the efforts of domestic automakers, last years they are gradually being forced out Russian market cars of Japanese, Asian and European production. During the economic crisis of 2008-2009, which probably hit automotive companies the most painfully, AvtoVAZ established cooperation with the Renault concern. This served as an incentive to receive financial assistance from Russian government and assistance in mastering new automotive technology from partners from Renault. On production facilities VAZ French plan to start production Renault cars, Nissan and Lada on single platform B0 (Logan), and also leave production Russian cars in the lower price segment.

I recently bought a car on Kashirskoye Highway. I’ll say right away that the car is the first new one! There's not much to compare it to. But I liked everything, guys. Can't put it into words. I had two sellers. The wonderful Natalya Krechetova, who met us and told us everything and arranged the paperwork, and Petya Vunberov, from whom we later took the car. We came for the first time and stayed for about 30 minutes, maybe an hour. We looked at the car, left a thousand rubles and a few days later we took the finished, beautiful one, ours! This is service, this is care. Natasha and Petya, you make people happy, you are great guys. The car only makes me happy. I'll come to you again to pick up a car for my sister.
