Where is Lifan x 60 produced. Where is Lifan X60 produced. For the recycling program

In Russia, Lifan X60 2017 is available in Basic, Standard, Comfort, Luxury trim levels. The first two are offered only with a manual transmission. In the simplest form, the car is equipped with 17-inch steel wheels, electric side mirrors, and rails. Inside - a vertically adjustable steering wheel, fabric seat upholstery, dividing armrests front and rear, pockets on the backs of the front seats, a folding second row (60/40). Equipment - power windows, central locking with remote control, audio system with 4 speakers, USB, AUX. The Standard version will offer front foglights, air conditioning, a curtain in the luggage compartment. The extended Comfort version includes light-alloy wheels, a winter package (heated mirrors and seats), chrome door handles, leather upholstery, six adjustments for the driver's seat (four as standard). The most expensive equipment is a sunroof, a multifunction steering wheel, a navigation system.

The compact crossover Lifan X60 is available with one power unit. It is a 1.8-liter, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated gasoline engine with variable valve timing VVT-I. Its maximum power is 128 horsepower, torque is 162 Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission or variator works in tandem with the motor. Regardless of the type of transmission, the Lifan X60 accelerates from zero to the first hundred in 14.5 seconds. The maximum speed is 170 km / h. The declared fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 8.2 liters per 100 kilometers. The volume of the fuel tank is 55 liters.

Lifan X60 is equipped with independent suspension of all wheels - MacPherson struts in front and 3-link rear with anti-roll bars. Front brakes - ventilated disc, rear - disc. Steering - rack and pinion with hydraulic booster. The drive is only for the front wheels. The car has slightly increased in length - from 4325 to 4405 mm, the other dimensions are the same: width - 1790 mm, height - 1690 mm. The wheelbase is 2600 mm. Turning radius - 5.4 m. Clearance (ground clearance) - 179 mm. The luggage compartment volume is 405 liters. If the rear seat backrest is folded down, this figure is 1638 liters. The curb weight is 1330 kg.

Already in the basic version, the Lifan X60 2017 is equipped with two airbags (for the driver and front passenger), child seat mountings, an anti-lock braking system and a brake force distribution system, as well as an auxiliary braking system. The list of equipment also includes the ERA-GLONASS system, a light sensor, an automatic door unlocking function while driving and an optional rear parking sensor. The CNCAP crash test rated the safety of Lifan X60 at four stars out of five.

The Lifan X60 crossover is a decent combination of price and quality. The car received an attractive exterior design, a spacious interior, a spacious luggage compartment and modern technical equipment. The hereditary shortcomings of the Lifan X60 include budget materials for interior decoration, a relatively low level of production and assembly, and a rusting body. Having only front-wheel drive makes this car more of a city dweller.

In the dusty haze lifted by the trucks, a traffic light passed by like a ghost. The visibility is close to zero, we go almost on the instruments. "Condey" is switched to recirculation, on a broken gravel grader the car is shaking its entire body, stones are shrapnel hitting on the wheel arches. The organizers did not lie about the off-road section on the test route! Only who could have known that he would pass along the usual, "civil" road from Tuapse to Khadyzhensk ?! Either it is repaired like this, or it is always in this form ... It is very our way: now the asphalt, now the minefield under the wheels. On these "unexpected" roads, the first crossover of the Chinese company Lifan - the X60 model, to get acquainted with which we came to the Krasnodar Territory, will have to drive.

What do you expect from the X60, a colleague asked me before the test? Good question! To be honest, I definitely do not expect much from the "Chinese", because the auto industry in China is relatively young and is still learning to make high-quality cars. And the Lifan company, by world standards, is a baby at all: founded in 1992, it started with motorcycles, and it was only in 2004 that cars began to be produced here! But the company has enough ambitions, besides, we all remember that the Chinese who are starting a new production do not hesitate to borrow technologies from others and train on them, if they themselves do not know how yet. Why, they say, reinvent the wheel and go "your own way" at random if there are already proven solutions ?! Well, that's logical. Moreover, it is still useless to sue the Chinese for "copyright".

The serial Lifan X60 debuted in the summer of 2011 at the Shanghai Auto Show. Sales in Russia began in October 2012, and our X60 market is supplied from the Derways plant in Cherkessk, where the assembly of the new crossover began in the fall of the same year. In terms of components, the degree of localization is still close to zero (all parts are brought from China), but in Cherkessk they independently cook, paint and assemble the bodies. In addition to the X60, Derweis also produces Lifan Breez, Solano and Smily.

The Lifanovites sculpted their first X60 crossover, figuratively speaking, on the "technology base" of the Toyota RAV4 of one of the previous generations. In appearance, it turned out even somewhat original, although in the appearance something is still visible from the same RAV4 of the second generation, and from the past Hyundai Santa Fe. Well, okay, it's time to load on board, on the way we will continue to figure out what happened with the Chinese.

I go to throw my backpack into the car, pull the trunk lock once, twice ... It wasn’t there! It turns out that in order to open the trunk from the outside, you must first unlock it with a key fob or open the door with a button on the center console. (During the two days of the test, I more than once "kissed the breakdown" like this, going out to open the trunk and forgetting about the tricky ritual). And the fifth door itself had to be opened and especially closed with almost two hands - the mechanism turned out to be so tight, and not only on our X60! Either the "hardware" has not yet got used to it, or it is a "compliment" from assemblers with suppliers - but the beginning is cheerful ...

Let's see what the salon will "amuse" with. The phenolic odor characteristic of the "Chinese" is still present, but it does not knock down, as before, and disappears rather quickly. What else? A massive two-story dashboard with smooth contours and large climate control keys is frankly "copied" from the third generation RAV4. True, the Lifanovites slightly changed the location of some buttons and the part of the panel where the radio tape recorder stands, plus they diluted the design with their own instrument panel with a "well" in which the "eye" of a digital speedometer flaunts. It looks perky, numerical speed readings are even more convenient to perceive, but the tachometer is already read worse because of the small scale and small arrow.

The Chinese engineers borrowed the general architecture of the instrument panel from the Toyota RAV4, but slightly diluted the design with their own instrument panel.

I liked the large mirrors and the number of containers for small things. But then ... Copied from Toyota is not quite Toyota yet. So inside the X60 it is felt that it is not yet "Japanese". The plastic is coarse in places, some button handles dangle in their nests, decorative panels fall off on the body sills in the cabin, and the screw heads in the door handles were covered with rubber bands that looked like hand-cut scissors!

The front seats were not very welcoming. Even the driver did not find the height adjustment, but there is a "warm up", however, also only the one who is driving. At the same time, the backrest is not the most pleasant, "pushing" profile, but it will not work out comfortably on the head restraints: they are strongly shifted back and you will have to sit strongly bent over. What else to grumble about? The platform for the left leg is too high, the handbrake works tightly, the radio control buttons on the steering wheel would not hurt, and the steering wheel itself clearly lacks the setting for departure. In general, the Chinese still have something to improve.

On the back couch in the X60 there is almost a limousine space! At the same time, the separate seat backs are adjustable in tilt angle, and when folded, they form a flat cargo area.

Shall we move back? Wow! That’s what I didn’t expect from the X60 - it’s a reserve of rear seat! There is so much space that you can almost stretch your legs or even throw one on top of the other. At the same time, the passenger in front is not at all restrained and sits freely!

Beckons, beckons the back row with almost a limousine space! Eh, it would be imposing to collapse here now ... But it's time to get behind the wheel. Only our car seems to run out of gas! Look, the arrow is at zero and the light is already blinking! But the Lifanovites embarrassedly explained that the tank was full, and this was simply “fooling” the fuel gauge. The "fun" doesn't end there ... Okay, then we'll shoot a video for YouTube, like Lifan made a car that can drive on an empty tank. Just start the engine first. Hopefully there will be no surprises?

All right! A turn of the key - and a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with the long name LFB479Q rumbled under the hood. In the descriptions of the crossover, the Chinese proudly state that this motor was created jointly with the British engineering company Ricardo. Although it would be more correct to say not “created”, but “adapted”: the basis of the Lifanov engine is again the “heritage” of Toyota. Namely, a 1.8-liter unit of the 1ZZ-FE series, which was installed in Toyota Corolla, Avensis, Celica and even Lotus Elise over the years. The motor has an aluminum block and heads, 4 valves per cylinder and a chain drive of the camshafts with a variable valve timing system on the intake valves. For Lifan X60, 128 hp was removed from the engine. and 168 Nm at 4200 rpm. The drive is still only front-wheel drive, the gearbox is a 5-speed "mechanics". The X60 itself weighs 1330 kg in equipped form and 128 "horses" accelerate it to a maximum speed of 170 km / h.

The 1.8-liter gasoline engine Lifan X60 is based on Toyota technology. But the layout of the engine compartment raises some questions. For example, it is not very convenient to "light up" or change the battery, which is hidden under the windshield panel (pictured in the upper left corner). But the generator is high, the likelihood of filling it in a deep puddle is already less.

But about the dynamics of acceleration to "hundreds" of Lifanovtsy in the official performance characteristics do not report a word. Are they shy? What, one wonders, to hide? After all, from the beginning you don't expect any driver's revelations from the X60. The 1.8 liter engine in terms of traction of stars from the sky is not enough and is unhurried in the set of revolutions, in the string of ascents on the serpentine it is especially felt. For a leisurely driver, the engine as a whole is enough, but an enthusiastic spur needs to look for another car or not be lazy to constantly "turn" the engine, patiently and tirelessly wielding a long-stroke gearshift lever and an equally long-stroke clutch that "grabs" almost at the very top.

The power steering and the brake pedal were not aggravated with particular sharpness and sensitivity. The independent suspension (McPherson struts in front and a three-lever in the rear) was remembered for its rigidity with a simultaneous tangible roll in corners. But she partly takes her on bad roads. So, on the broken asphalt and graders, we “hit” boldly and almost in a rally style, without fear of breakdowns. Restrained only the fear of cutting the tires on the stones and the fact that from time to time you go like on a vibration stand! On a gravel grader, riders are shaking great, the steering wheel vibrates, the interior ... Although on our roads such a good suspension is partly even a plus: it will live longer!

The minimum ground clearance for the X60 is 179 mm. The list of options includes aluminum or steel protection for the engine and gearbox, as well as plastic wheel arch liners for the rear wheel arches.

Summing up, I will say that the first crossover "pancake" came from Lifan, though not the smoothest, but not quite lumpy. It turned out to be a calm family car, without any special frills, but with a spacious interior, a spacious trunk, a high-set body and a hardy suspension - what we value is just what we value. And about the "shoals" ... The Chinese are not without it yet, as already noted, they are still learning, deriving their "breed", but they learn quickly and work on quality.

Let's not forget that Lifan X60 plays in the budget league, which partly justifies the remarks about it. So, now this crossover is offered in Base and LX trim levels. The cheapest Base version costs 500,000 rubles. The equipment is not rich, but not entirely "bare": there are servos for windows and mirrors, central locking, a light sensor, roof rails, audio preparation with two speakers, two airbags and an ABS with an EBD force distributor. Salon - fabric, rims - steel. The LX configuration tested by us is estimated at 600,000 rubles. It already has air conditioning, leather interior with heated driver's seat, heated mirrors, parking sensors, CD / MP3 radio with 6 columns and 16-inch alloy wheels.

In Russia, the Lifan X60 is now sold in Base trim levels (500,000 rubles) and the LX version shown in the photo (600,000 rubles). In 2013, two more new execution lines will appear.

By the way, it is noteworthy who is considered by Lifan to be the first competitor of the new X60. Slightly more compact, but close in price front-wheel drive "Chinese" Chery Tiggo and Tagaz Vortex Tingo immediately come to mind. The first is equipped with a 1.6 liter engine (119 hp) with "mechanics" and costs from 516,000 rubles. The second has 1.8 liters (132 hp) under the hood and paired with a manual transmission, it is sold at a price of 500,000 rubles.

However, the Lifanovites consider their number one rival not Chery and Vortex, but Renault Duster comparable in size! The swing is serious, because with front-wheel drive, a 1.6-liter (102 hp) engine and a manual gearbox, this most popular crossover is even cheaper: the plant declares a price of 449,000 rubles. True, in reality, cheap cars without dealer markups have long been perceived as a sweet myth, and because of the huge queues to buy in Russia, Duster managed to get the nickname "Zhdaster". And against this background, Lifan X60 does not look like a bad alternative.

Yes, someone may remember that the Duster and Chery Tiggo also have such trump cards as four-wheel drive versions, and the Duster and Vortex Tingo also have versions with automatic transmission. But Lifan X60 will also have all this: in 2013 it should receive a CVT variator, and a little later an all-wheel drive transmission is promised.

And finally. By the end of 2011, Lifan became the most successful Chinese brand in Russia, selling almost 18,000 cars. And given the popularity of crossovers in our country, the new X60 will clearly add new buyers to the company: the Lifanovites expect that the new model will account for up to 30% of the total production volume. In addition, in 2013, the X60 trim levels will be replenished with an intermediate Comfort version and a top-end Luxury version. In general, the Chinese are gaining momentum. It is not for nothing that Lifan is translated from Chinese as "to sail in full swing."

Another restyled version of the Chinese crossover Lifan X60 has appeared on the Russian market. The update is definitely not superfluous, because thanks to it, the model is noticeably "younger", prettier and received a slightly improved interior. The technical filling of the SUV, as expected, has not changed, since we are talking about the most ordinary restyling. At the same time, the car added a little in length, which, however, did not greatly affect the amount of space in the cabin. Here we will take a closer look at what exactly has changed during the modernization and what is curious about the novelty from the Middle Kingdom.

Design

The most of the changes occurred in the front part of the body. Up front, there are now more stylish headlights, a redesigned bumper with high-positioned round-shaped fog lights and air intakes, and a new horizontal line grille. In terms of design, the front of the car is reminiscent of the recently debuted Lifan MyWay 7-seater SUV. The resemblance to MyWay is most hinted at by the radiator grill. There are fewer modifications at the back: the lights are simply tweaked there, and the exhaust pipes are built into the rear bumper. In addition, the exterior mirrors with "turn signals" have changed and new options for alloy wheels with a diameter of 16 to 18 inches have appeared.

The interior has practically not been updated. Inside the Lifan X60, as before, there is enough space for 5 people, and there is enough free legroom in the second row, but tall passengers still may think that the cabin is cramped. Behind the rear passengers is a 405-liter luggage compartment, whose volume increases to 1794 liters when the second row of seats is folded in a ratio of 40:60. The flat floor, together with the low loading height, makes it possible to easily load any, even bulky cargo.

Design

The configuration of the crossover's suspension is traditional: in front - McPherson, and at the rear - an independent 3-link structure. Disc brakes on all four wheels provide effective braking on roads with any type of surface. According to the reviews of many car owners, the Lifan X60 2017 demonstrates good handling and is excellent for urban use. The dimensions of the model remained almost untouched: only the length increased from 4.325 m to 4.405 m. The width is still 1.79 m, the height is 1.69 m, the distance between the wheel axles is 2.6 m, and the ground clearance is 179 mm.

Adaptation to Russian conditions

The novelty of the Lifan company is positioned as an urban crossover, which is explained by the presence of uncontested front-wheel drive and 179-mm ground clearance. If it is still suitable for light off-road, then on heavy Russian off-road it definitely has nothing to do, therefore, unfortunately, it is impossible to say that it is fully adapted for our country. However, the 2017 X60 boasts a very durable body made from low-alloy steel and high-profile tires designed specifically for the SUV class. Such tires have a positive effect on the driving performance of the car and guarantee excellent grip on slippery roads. In addition, the restyled model is equipped with front seats with a heating function, without which no modern car can do. A heating system is also available for the rear window and door mirrors.

Comfort

One of the main innovations inside the Lifan X60 is the center console with carbon-like edging. In the middle of the console is the eight-inch touchscreen display of the infotainment complex, and below is another climate control unit. The placement of buttons is now more logical and understandable. The steering wheel of the SUV is a multifunctional 3-spoke, made of plastic and reminiscent of the steering wheels of sports cars. The steering wheel is pleasant to the touch, overall looks noble thanks to the bright silver finish and is adjustable in height to suit the driver's wishes.

Another significant thing about the cabin is the informative three-dimensional instrument panel. In the "tidy" the most important place is given to the tachometer - information from the trip computer and digital speedometer is displayed on its dial. Along the edges - readings of the fuel level in the gas tank and the temperature of the coolant together with warning lamps. Instruments are easy to read, and the panel backlight has a dimmable function and meets all modern requirements for driving safety. The front seats of the new Lifan X60 differ in a relatively comfortable fit, as well as the rear ones, which are equipped with three soft headrests and adjustable backrests. The wide armrest, located between the seats, is equipped with a glove box and cup holders. It should be noted that the interior of the Chinese model has a certain resemblance to the interior of the Japanese Toyota RAV4 crossover. For example, some parts of the dashboard and the center console are almost 100% copied from the "Japanese".

The body of the Lifan X60 2017 is made of high-strength steel: for maximum protection of the driver and passengers, steel plates and collision energy absorption zones are provided, and internal steel strips are used to reinforce the doors. A large energy-absorbing bumper is installed at the front of the body. The latest head optics with DRL and LED taillights emit bright light and provide good visibility, significantly increasing the level of safety. Rear foglights make it possible to see the car from a long distance and thereby reduce the likelihood of an accident. Visibility is also improved by wide exterior mirrors with optional heating. The list of electronic assistants in this case is short and includes only 4-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) and brake force distribution (EBD), which significantly increase vehicle stability on the road. There are only two airbags - for the driver and front passenger. Along with this, there are standard Isofix mountings for child car seats, a child lock, immobilizer and seat belt indicators.

Already in the basic configuration, the Lifan X60 2017 is equipped with an audio CD / MP3 preparation with AUX and USB connectors for connecting mobile devices. More expensive versions are offered with a 2-DIN audio center with 6 speakers, and the top version is available with an infotainment complex with an eight-inch color touchscreen, satellite navigation and a rear-view camera. The multimedia system guarantees high quality sound and allows you to listen to your favorite music without being distracted from driving. The buttons of the system are conveniently located in accordance with all the laws of ergonomics.

Lifan X60 Specifications

Under the hood of the crossover that has survived the update lives a four-cylinder in-line engine with a volume of 1,794 cc. see The motor develops 128 hp. at 6000 rpm and 162 Nm at 4200 rpm, it "eats" AI-95 gasoline and uses the VVT-I variable valve timing technology, as well as the Delphi and Bosch ICE control systems, due to which it is 8% more powerful and 5% more economical than a conventional engine. Thanks to electronic fuel injection, petrol consumption is reduced by 3% compared to standard engines, and averages 7.6 liters. for 100 kilometers. The engine of the new Lifan X60 is combined with a five-speed manual transmission and a variator transmission (CVT). Regardless of the selected gearbox, the top speed of the model is 170 km / h.

The Russian automotive market is full of cars from various well-known world concerns. Therefore, our compatriots have a lot to choose from. We sell Japanese, German, Italian, French, American, Korean cars. And recently, more and more buyers are interested in the cars of the Chinese company Lifan. Over the past few years, the Chinese have significantly improved the quality and reliability of their cars, and they cost much less than vehicles of other brands. In particular, fans of the brand are interested in where the Lifan X60 is assembled, a crossover with imperfect quality, but with an ideal cost.

It is known that the homeland of the brand is China; most of the brand's models for different markets of the world, including Russia, are assembled here. But, the crossover from the Middle Kingdom was supplied before we opened our own production line in Russia. The Derways enterprise is located in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. The plant produces a compact Chinese crossover exclusively for the domestic market. Other models and brands of cars are also produced here:

  • Lifan 320
  • Lifan 620
  • Lifan 520
  • Geely
  • Great wall hover
  • Haima.

Due to the fact that the X60 model is assembled in the Russian Federation, compatriots have the opportunity to purchase a car at the most favorable price without any extra charge.

Interior and exterior

The Chinese company Lifan has improved the technological component of its machines and improved the quality of production. At home, the Lifan X60 model is considered an SUV, but for our country it is an urban crossover suitable for operation on the highway, but not for rural and dirt roads. The model is devoid of all-wheel drive, but the Chinese claim that they will eventually install it on this crossover. Outwardly, the "Chinese" is very similar to the "Japanese" - Toyota RAV 4. The Chinese do not deny this, they completely copied the front part, only they put a different radiator grill on their car. Also, where the Lifan X60 is produced, interestingly shaped headlights, swollen wheel arches, and a massive bumper are installed on the car.

At the back, as is customary, a branded spoiler was installed. The dimensions of the five-door Chinese crossover are: 4325 mm × 1790 mm × 1690 mm. This car cannot boast of good build quality, although the Chinese also assemble it using new technology. On a five-point scale of quality, the car pulls a C. Speaking of the center console of the crossover, we can say that it is the same as that of the Japanese original. Some will say that Chinese designers have no imagination at all, this is so, but on the other hand, the buyer will receive a car with a good and multifunctional interior.

There is a lot of space inside the "Chinese" and it is cozy, five adults can easily accommodate here. The seats in the front are a bit disappointing as they lack lateral support and are a bit uncomfortable in shape.

The luggage compartment of the Lifan X60 is average, only 405 liters. All the details in the interior of the car are fixed conscientiously, and the quality of the materials used for finishing is disappointing. To some extent, the interior of the "Chinese" is better than the interior of the "Japanese". When driving inside the car, unnecessary squeaks and extraneous sounds will not be heard, which is good news.

Specifications

Where the Lifan X60 is produced for Russia, they took into account the operating conditions and the quality of the road surface, but not quite. The MacPherson front independent suspension is installed on the crossover, and the three-link independent rear suspension is installed on the crossover. The handling of the "Chinese" is good, the steering wheel responds well enough when cornering. High-quality disc brakes on all wheels and ground clearance are not displeasing. Under the hood of the crossover, a Chinese-English 1.8-liter gasoline power unit with 133 horsepower (168 Nm) is installed. The car can accelerate to the first hundred in 11.2 seconds.

The maximum speed of the "Chinese" is 170 kilometers. The average consumption of AI-95 gasoline per hundred kilometers is 8.2 liters. This Chinese crossover pleases with its low cost. The basic configuration will cost the buyer 450,000 rubles. The most expensive "Chinese" costs 585,000 rubles. The owners of this car model are not entirely happy with such a purchase, since the car often breaks down and you have to wait a long time for new parts for repair. The owners say that the car is poorly assembled and not at all ready for use in winter Russia. The main advantage of this crossover is the price, and for most buyers this is the main indicator for purchasing a car.

technology for people

New center panel

One of the most significant differences in the interior of the updated Lifan X60 is the new center console, effectively framed around the perimeter with carbon-like edging.
