In addition to the base one, there is also an 87-horsepower engine.

In pairs with engines it is offered manual transmission for 5 gears. The chassis layout is standard and also taken from the Lada Grant - MacPherson struts on the front axle and a torsion beam at the rear.

However, the Datsun on-Do has a completely different central console and instrument panel, the shape of the central air deflectors has been changed, other metal inserts have been added, a new steering wheel and other points have been added. As you can see, the model range of the Datsun brand is expanding, but at the same time it also has its own specifics - first, the models are “tested” in Asian markets, and only then are supplied to Russia and other countries. And the tendency to create them based on existing models also cannot be ignored.

There is not enough turn signal in the mirrors, the turn signal buzzer is tiresome, you have to turn on the turn signal just before a turn, just to listen to it less. With sharp acceleration, especially with slipping, the engine can suddenly drop speed to the minimum, which when overtaking and especially making a left turn at a traffic light can cause an accident.

Where can I buy?

I bought it in January 2017 in the Dream 1 configuration. It’s quite a worthy device (after the VAZ 15). The gearbox hums like everyone else, the brake pads whistle, the heater malfunctions (it blows in the wrong direction in auto mode).

Consumption is still in the run-in phase and only in the city - 12.5 liters. I liked another feature - foam rubber in the left central deflector - supposedly technological feature. I also noticed that they fog up rear lights in cold weather after washing and fog lights. In cold weather at -30 degrees, there is not enough force to open the rear left door; you have to help with your hands.
