But the interior... Is this really a Korean car?

Specialists from Hyundai told me that during the development new Elantra stylists unanimously abandoned the former Asian ornateness - and heatedly argued whose school of interior design to choose, American or European. Is it simply that the center console is turned towards the driver, albeit slightly, just seven degrees? After all, the old Elantra did not have a particularly pleasant driving character - and was upset by the lack of energy intensity rear suspension and rocking on uneven surfaces.

The platform of the new Elantra is the same, with a semi-independent beam at the rear. But the characteristics of all springs and shock absorbers have been revised, and the mounting points for the rear suspension elements have been changed. And... It's a completely different matter!
