Fuse box and relay hyundai accent. Hyundai Accent fuses and relays, wiring diagrams Hyundai Accent fuse box pinout

The function of the fuse box is to protect against overvoltage and failure of the electrical equipment of the machine. Therefore, when, for example, headlights, a stove, or a gas pump stop working in your car, check the fuses first. Maybe they are the cause of the problem.

Before you buy fuses or any hyundai spare parts, let's determine which of the fuses is responsible for what in the car.

There are three fuse boxes in the Hyundai Accent. Two are in the cabin, and the third is under the hood.

Fuse box in engine compartment. And a list of what each detail is responsible for.

Fuse box in the cabin. It is located below the steering wheel, on the left. To get to it, remove the decorative trim on the dashboard.

The second block is located behind an additional glove compartment in the cabin. There are relays that protect powerful energy consumers in the car.

Relay number and what it is responsible for:

  1. Responsible for distribution braking force. In the event of a breakdown during braking, the car "leads".
  2. Responsible for the rear fog lights.
  3. This is the main relay for the Hyundai Accent. In the image, the relay is disconnected from the connector.
  4. Follows the headlight bulbs.
  5. Responsible for the operation of the windshield wiper and washer motor.
  6. Responsible for the operation of the ABS.
  7. Responsible for the operation of power windows.
  8. Responsible for the heating mechanism rear window.
  9. Responsible for the operation of the steering horn.
  10. Ensures the operation of turn lamps and light signaling.

Any novice motorist can change the fuse.

  1. Disconnect the battery first. Open the hood and remove the negative terminal.
  2. Now open the cover of the mounting block. You can pry it off with a flathead screwdriver or some other hand tool.
  3. Now you need to check the fuse. Remove it with tweezers or hands and check visually. There is a fusible thread inside the fuse. It may break or burn out. Such a component becomes unusable.

Remember! The new fuse must be the same rating as the one you removed.

  1. Now check if the problem is fixed by connecting the battery. If so, don't forget to replace the cover.

The electrical equipment is made according to a single-wire circuit: the “negative” conclusions of sources and consumers of electricity are connected to the “mass”: the body and the main units, which act as a second wire. At idle engine switched on consumers are powered by the battery, and after starting the engine - from the generator alternating current with built-in rectifier and electronic voltage regulator. When the generator is running, the battery is charged.

In the Hyundai Accent, as in any other car, fuses are a kind of protection for the electrical equipment of the car. If the wiring is shorted, they can burn out. In this case, it is enough to replace one of the elements of the fuse block, and you can continue to enjoy a comfortable ride.

To eliminate incorrect work cigarette lighter, brake light or dimensions, you need to know the location and number of the fuse responsible for the failed electrical circuit. This car has 2 blocks with protective elements.

Fuse box Hyundai Accent under the hood.

AT engine compartment block with protective devices and relay is behind battery th. Its cover is fixed with plastic clips. After opening you can see fuse location, and extract desired element. The block has special tweezers for removing burnt parts.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DESIGN Starter for Hyundai Accent (Hyundai Accent)

On the Hyundai car Accent (Hyundai Accent) installed starter, which is a four-pole, four-brush DC motor with permanent magnet excitation, with planetary gear, roller clutch freewheel and two-winding traction relay.

To steel body starter attached permanent magnets. The body and covers of the starter are tightened with two bolts. The armature shaft rotates in plain bearings. Torque from the armature shaft is transmitted to the drive shaft through a planetary gearbox. A freewheel clutch (overrunning clutch) with a drive gear is installed on the drive shaft. It transmits torque in only one direction: from starter to the engine, disengaging them after starting the engine.

This is necessary to protect the gearbox and starter armature from damage due to excessive speed.

The traction relay is used to engage the drive gear with the ring gear of the flywheel of the crankshaft of the engine and turn on the power to the starter motor, which occurs when the ignition key is turned to the "START" position (in a car with an automatic transmission, the gear selection lever must be in the "P" positions or "N"). After closing the contacts of the traction relay, the retracting winding is turned off.

Disconnect the "negative" wire from the battery terminal.

It is more convenient to remove the starter from a car installed on a viewing ditch or overpass.
