Q50 dimensions. Premium sedan Infiniti Q50. Smart Baby Watch Q50: customer reviews

In 2013, held in Detroit international motor show Infiniti company showed the Q50 sedan, which is the first car of the brand created by the Renault-Nissan alliance together with Daimler concern. The European premiere of the new product took place at the Geneva Auto Show.

The release of this model coincided with the “rebranding” of the company. Infiniti has completely changed the concept of naming its models. From now on, all sedans, coupes and convertibles of the company carry the Q index, and crossovers and SUVs – QX. There is no longer a hint of engine displacement in the digital indexes. By the way, the letter “Q” is significant for Infiniti, since the first car of the brand was designated Q45.

The Q50 sedan replaced the G37 model in the lineup, on the platform of which it was built. But the FM (Front Midship) platform has been significantly modernized. The characteristics of the shock absorbers and springs, the geometry of the double-wishbone suspension at the front and the multi-link design at the rear have been changed, and the subframes have become stiffer. Plus a petrol V6, shifted within the wheelbase and optional brakes with four-piston calipers at the front and two-piston at the rear. The dimensions have remained virtually unchanged. The wheelbase is similar to the Infiniti G sedan (2850 mm), and the length has increased by only 13 mm (4790 mm).

The classic layout has also been preserved with the possibility of replacing rear-wheel drive with all-wheel drive transmission. In all-wheel drive version, the sedan is equipped with an Intelligent AWD transmission: typical diagram with automatic connection rear axle via an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch. If necessary, Intelligent AWD allows forced blocking clutches (at moderate speeds).

Infiniti designers managed to connect the past and the future. In Q50 2014 guise model year One can read both the brand’s traditional stylistic techniques and new elements borrowed from the Infiniti Etherea, Essence and Emerge-E concept cars. First of all, this is the shape of the headlights, the front LED optics, “voluminous” radiator grille, double exhaust pipes and a characteristic bend rear pillar, which became attributes of the new corporate identity of Infiniti. The sedan is characterized by good streamlining - coefficient aerodynamic drag equal to 0.26 (for cars with a sports package - 0.27).

The main highlight of the interior was the communication interface Infiniti systems InTouch. In order not to overload the driver with a complex menu, the developers divided the multimedia control into two touch screens, which were located one above the other (8-inch at the top and 7-inch at the bottom) and occupied almost the entire center console. The top one is responsible for the navigation system and a number of car settings. The bottom screen attracts attention with excellent graphics and good resolution. The menu can be scrolled through and “zoomed” with finger movements, InTouch is compatible with Facebook, Twitter and Google services, can work with email clients and read SMS messages received on a phone connected to the system.

The interior of the Infiniti Q50 pleases with high-quality assembly and high-quality materials. The interior can be trimmed with either polished wood or aluminum inserts with a complex texture (Infiniti calls them Kacchu). The front seats were developed jointly with NASA - their profile helps reduce driver fatigue during long trips. In the S version, they are distinguished by increased lateral support, the level of “hug” of which can be adjusted, and a retractable popliteal bolster. Driver's seats and front passenger moved by electric servomechanisms in 8 directions, covered in leather The multifunctional steering wheel is adjustable for tilt and reach. There is enough legroom in the back, but the central tunnel clearly hints that the third one is superfluous. To services rear passengers— ventilation system deflectors, an ashtray and a folding armrest with two cup holders.

Whole Q50 model automotive world will be remembered as the first car with a “fake” steering wheel - the angle of rotation of the front wheels determines electronic brain, and the “steering wheel” only gives him commands. This allows the car to independently stay in its lane, correct course on uneven surfaces with small steering movements, resist gusts of side wind, etc. Moreover, the driver can choose four levels feedback, and for the sake of safety, the electronics are duplicated by a conventional mechanical steering drive, which is automatically activated in an emergency.

The car received Hi-tech safety, a complex of which Infiniti calls Safety Shield. The car is stuffed to the brim with various electronic assistants. The lane keeping system (Active Lane Control), based on the readings of a camera that reads the markings, independently guides the car between the lines, using non-selective wheel braking using VDC, namely steering. Moreover, it works even if the driver takes both hands off the steering wheel and neutralizes the influence of side winds. And when you try to leave a given corridor without turning on the turn signal, the force on the steering wheel increases.

The list of “smart” systems continues with active cruise control with the “Stop and go” function (it works until it comes to a complete stop and then starts moving further) and Forward Collision Warning, which makes sure that the driver does not drive into the rear of the car in front (it brakes the car itself). ). There is a similar system for movement in reverse— if the parking sensors detect an obstacle, it will prevent a collision. The list of “smart” systems is complemented by blind spot monitoring, all-round cameras, and automatic high beams.

The Q50 sedan engine range consists of an upgraded 6-cylinder petrol 3.7-liter 328-horsepower unit and a hybrid power plant total output of 355 horsepower, which includes a 3.5-liter engine internal combustion 296 hp, 68 hp electric motor and compact lithium ion battery. The transmission offered is a Jatco 7-speed automatic. According to the passport data, the sprint to “hundreds” of the hybrid takes 5.1 seconds, and maximum speed reaches 250 km/h. With Infiniti switch Drive Mode you can choose one of four “factory” options for the transmission and engine, or configure a personal mode. And for cars with DAS system Additionally, you can change the speed of steering response.

On European market the car is also available with diesel engine 2.1 liter capacity 170 hp. and 400 Nm of torque. Diesel Infiniti Q50 with automatic transmission accelerates to “hundreds” in 8.5 seconds, and the top speed reaches 230 km/h. It is noteworthy that diesel version Unlike gasoline ones, it is also offered with a 6-speed manual transmission.

A remarkable fact luggage compartment hybrid version significantly less (400 l versus 510 l). The backrests of the rear sofa fold down to transport long items. In the underground - only a tool, the Infiniti Q50 is equipped with run-flat tires.

In the top Infiniti trim level The Q50 is able to remember the position of the seats, side mirrors, steering column, climate control settings, navigation system and displays, message language and even the layout of the keyboard used and the system of measures. Plus, of course, the Infiniti Drive Mode Selector and Direct Adaptive Steering parameters, which change the driving mode, are retained. A total of 96 settings can be selected for 10 different functions for two different people— they are stored in the memory of each of the car keys.

In January 2013, Infiniti presented a new mid-size premium sedan called the Q50 at the Detroit International Auto Show.

The car, in fact, is the next generation of the G-series sedan, which is well known Russian buyers, and its main competitors are the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4, Lexus IS and Cadillac ATS.

In December 2015, the four-door experienced technical update, which bypassed the design - it was separated from the 3.0-liter V6 engine in two levels of boost, and also reconfigured the adaptive steering (DAS), exalting the naturalness of its feedback, and the suspension...

Well, in March 2017, the car underwent a planned restyling, making its debut at the Geneva motor show - this time its appearance was “refreshed” (due to corrected bumpers, radiator grille and lights), minor changes were made to the interior and new equipment was installed ( in particular, the ProPilot semi-autonomous driving system).

The Infinity Q50 sedan has a deliberately aggressive and assertive appearance, which is fully consistent with the latest design trends of the Japanese luxury brand.

The front part of the car is crowned with the “family” radiator grille and the piercingly sharp, frowning look of the head optics (in basic version it is halogen, and in more expensive ones it is LED). The muscular relief of the hood and bumper, which houses an air intake (covered with an openwork mesh) and compact fog lights, above which there are LED strips of daytime running lights.

The profile of the Infiniti Q50 immediately catches the eye with its dynamism, which is created thanks to the sloping roof, turning into a beautiful curve, the stylish rib of the window sill and large rims(diameter varies from 17 to 19 inches).

The rear of the premium sedan is distinguished by lights with smooth outlines and an LED component, a powerful bumper with two pipes exhaust system and a small spoiler adorning the trunk lid.

The Infiniti Q50 sedan looks larger than it actually is, and it’s even difficult to imagine that its direct competitors are D-class three-box cars, and not representatives of the business segment. Indeed, in terms of its dimensions, the “Japanese” is located right between the mentioned niches: 4790 mm in length, 1820 mm in width and 1445 mm in height. Wheelbase totals 2850 mm, and the ground clearance is 130 mm.

The curb weight of the car ranges from 1640 ~ 1800 kg (depending on modification).

The interior space of the Infiniti Q50 is fully consistent with the canons premium segment– correctly calculated ergonomics, well-located control elements, high-quality finishing materials and rich equipment.

The dashboard looks beautiful and concise, it is not overloaded with unnecessary functions and provides the driver with all the necessary information(it is displayed on the color display between the main instruments).

Three-spoke steering wheel bears a high payload– it contains control buttons for music, cruise control and on-board computer.

The center console looks elegant, modern and expensive, and it is topped with two color displays. The 8-inch diagonal upper display is slightly recessed into the dashboard, does not indulge in high resolution and is responsible for displaying navigation images and images from all-round cameras. The bottom 7-inch screen has clear graphics and a beautiful interface and displays data multimedia system. It is worth noting that the music control buttons and climate control system arranged in separate blocks - convenient and logical!

The front seats of the Infiniti Q50 were designed in collaboration with NASA; they are endowed with good lateral support and a lot of electrical adjustments. They have one drawback - ventilation is not offered even as an option.

It looks flat, the rear sofa has soft padding and a comfortable layout, but the central tunnel clearly indicates that the third one will be superfluous here. But two people can sit with a high level of comfort (there is enough space in all directions), and amenities include ventilation deflectors and a center armrest with a pair of cup holders.

The premium sedan has a 500-liter luggage compartment. However, the dimensions of the transported cargo are limited wheel arches, strongly protruding inward, and a fairly narrow opening into the cabin with the backrests folded (in a ratio of 60:40). In the underground there is only a tool, there is no spare wheel, since the Infinity Q50 is equipped with run-flat tires.

On the Russian market, two versions are offered for the Infiniti Q50 gasoline engines, which are combined exclusively with a 7-band automatic transmission with manual mode gear shift. But if the “junior” version is mated exclusively with a rear-wheel drive transmission, then the “senior” version relies on an all-wheel drive system with multi-plate clutch, which, if necessary, supplies traction to the wheels of the front axle.

  • Under the hood base sedan a “four” with an in-line arrangement of cylinders is placed, direct injection and turbocharging. The engine displacement is 2.0 liters (to be more precise, 1991 cubic centimeters). It generates a maximum of 211 Horse power at 5500 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1250-3500 rpm.
Such a three-volume car takes 7.3 seconds to accelerate to the first “hundred”, and only when it reaches 245 km/h does the acceleration stop. Indicators fuel efficiency he has on high level: V mixed cycle every 100 km of travel, the tank (74-liter in total) is emptied by 7 liters (9.3 liters are enough in the city, 5.7 liters on the highway).
  • The “top” car is equipped with a 3.0-liter (2997 cubic centimeters) V6 engine of the VR series with two turbochargers, direct fuel injection, built into the head of the block exhaust manifold and phase shifters with high-speed electric motors producing 405 hp. at 6400 rpm and 475 Nm peak potential at 1600-5200 rpm.
In this version, the four-door accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds, accelerates to the maximum to 250 km/h, and “drinks” 9.3 liters of gasoline in combined conditions (in the city – 13.3 liters, on the highway – 7 liters).

The Infiniti Q50 is based on the rear-wheel drive Nissan FM (Front Midship) trolley, on which the G-series model was also built (though it has been modernized on the new sedan). The suspension design is as follows: double-wishbone on the front axle and multi-link on the rear (versions with a V-shaped “six” can boast an adaptive chassis with electronically controlled shock absorbers). Aluminum alloys and high-strength steels are extensively used in the body structure, thanks to which the curb weight of the basic three-volume vehicle does not exceed 1640 kg.

The Infiniti Q50 is equipped with a steering mechanism with electromechanical amplifier, but this is on basic machines. Sedan in top trim levels equipped with Direct Adaptive Steering. Its essence lies in the fact that the steering wheel and front wheels are not mechanically connected to each other, but the electronics are responsible for everything: electronic components Three controls analyze information from many sensors, and then send the necessary commands to a pair of electric motors. It is worth noting that if the electronics fail, then a mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the wheels occurs through an electromagnetic clutch. And the effective brake system with ventilated discs, 4-channel ABS, electronic technology braking forces(EBD) and emergency assistance system emergency braking(BA).

On Russian market The restyled Infiniti Q50 is available in four versions – “Pure”, “Luxe”, “Sport” and “Red Sport” (the first three are offered for cars with a 2.0-liter engine, and the last one with a 3.0-liter engine).

  • For the basic package, the minimum asking price is 1,999,000 rubles, for which it is equipped with: six airbags, dual-zone climate control, halogen headlights, fabric interior, starting the engine with a button, heated front seats, cruise with speed limiter, media center with two displays, audio system with six speakers, ABS, ESP, 17-inch alloy wheels, hill start assistant and other modern equipment.
  • The “top” option costs from 2,999,000 rubles, and its features are: adaptive suspension, sports brakes, an electric sunroof, 19-inch wheels, leather trim, all-LED optics, the semi-autonomous ProPilot package, an automatic parking system, DAS adaptive steering, memory and electrically adjustable front seats and a host of other goodies.

Watch functions

The functionality of the device is quite wide. One small gadget contains a whole package of capabilities: from making calls and tracking their location to setting authorized numbers and geo-fencing.

Phone calls and voice SMS

Children's watches are quite capable of working as a telephone. The Q50 allows you to call specific numbers because they have their own SIM card. This also allows you to exchange voice messages, but you can only access the Internet to transfer GPS data to your parents’ smartphone.

There is a built-in microphone and speaker. All conversations will have to be conducted in mode speakerphone. Exchanging short voice messages is very convenient, since not every small child can read or type text.

Reward system

Parents will be able to send encouraging hearts (points) from their phone when they want to express approval or once again say that they love him.

SOS call

Adults can enter special numbers into the watch’s memory that the child should call in an emergency. Usually in such cases, time does not allow delving into the notebook. So, to make an emergency call, just press one SOS button on the device, which is used for speed dialing.

If the first number does not answer, the call will be automatically redirected to the second one in the list. In total, you can enter 3 SOS numbers and subsequently change them if necessary.

Phone book in watch

A list of allowed 10 numbers is available that you can call and from which incoming calls will be accepted (the rest will be rejected). By pressing 2 programmed buttons, you can quickly call two “hot” numbers, for example, mom and dad.

The list is managed via the SeTracker app on the paired parent smartphone.

Parental control via the SeTracker application

An application for parents, SeTracker, is available specifically for monitoring the watch, through which you can monitor your child remotely. It is available for Android and iOS. The requirements are democratic: iOS must be at least 6.0, and Android must be at least 4.0.

Through SeTracker, parents will be able to constantly receive information about the whereabouts of their child. In normal mode, it reports the location of the young user via GPS, and in in case of emergency- transmits alerts. Voice messages to the child are also transmitted through the application, when you can call from your phone.

Fitness functions

Smart watches have activity tracking functions, the data of which can be viewed in software:

  • calories
  • number of steps
  • distance traveled
  • saving all user routes for the last 30 days

Detailed saved data is available only to the application administrator.

GPS

Every parent wants to know where their child is. The Q50 smartwatch is an always-on beacon that sends GPS data to the software on mom or dad's phone.

The frequency of data updates can be adjusted, but the more often the children's watch sends coordinates, the more power is consumed.

Safe zone

You can set safe geo-zones on the map in the software. When a child leaves these boundaries, you will be notified by a message in the application.

Watch removal sensor (anti-loss)

If Smart Watch Q50 is suddenly removed from your wrist, a signal is sent to the SeTracker program. In addition, you can set up an SMS alert directly to your parent's phone number.

The parent learns about the time and place where this happened within a maximum of 10 minutes. Knowing where the child was at that moment, parents can quickly get there and find out what happened.

Low battery sensor

When the device's charge is close to exhaustion, a special message will not let you forget about it. By default, the signal sounds when the charge level is 20%. Of course, the more GPS data is used, the more the battery drains.

SMS alerts

Such important points, such as low battery charge, SOS alarm and the fact of removing the watch from the hand, can be transmitted by text message directly to the parent’s phone number. This makes it possible not to miss an emergency event when the application on the smartphone is not running.

Wiretapping

The remote monitoring function, or as parents themselves call it, wiretapping, will allow you to discreetly call a child’s watch, which sends a call back to an adult’s smartphone in order to listen to what’s going on. this moment happens around the child. At this time, the owner of the watch will not know that the microphone in his device is turned on.

With the help of such a bug, parents will be able to remotely monitor the situation and, if necessary, immediately contact the baby.

"Make friends" function

Owners of such children's watches can use Bluetooth to exchange voice messages and make calls to each other using the principle of a walkie-talkie.

Smart Baby Watch Q50: customer reviews

Below are reviews from real customers from Yandex Market. We hope that their experience will help you in your choice.

    Review from Anikeeva Ksenia

    • The watch is nice to look at. The strap is comfortable and, as I read, does not cause allergies, but this still needs to be checked. It connects reliably with the SeTracker application. We checked how it determines the location - if on the street, then with an accuracy of 10 meters, we have not tried it indoors yet. But we tried the wiretapping mode. The child has not yet been told about this. The boy is four years old, I don’t think he will guess. Although children know how to surprise. It might be worth warning that this is possible.
    • We bought the watch quite recently, until we discovered it. But wiretapping is a convenient, but slippery feature. I probably shouldn't have told my grandmother about her. She has now become paranoid and believes that through this function Xi Jinping will personally listen to us. It’s good that he doesn’t suspect me... yet.

The S nameplate on the trunk lid of the Infiniti Q50 indicates not only that a 405-horsepower engine is installed under the hood of this sedan, paired with standard all-wheel drive, but also the presence of the Direct Adaptive Steering system. DAS breaks the connection between the driver and the steering, replacing it with an electric motor and artificial intelligence, which itself decides at what angle to turn the wheels and how much force should be applied to the steering wheel. When this system is combined with the drone function, even professional racers will be left out of work.

The seats of the Infiniti Q50 S are far from the semi-racing “buckets” that German automakers equip their “hot” models with, however, they hold the rider well.

The button-awakened 3.0-liter “six” of the VR series is made on the basis power unit legendary Nissan GT-R. Two boost turbines, providing a shaft of torque at any time, allow you to be daring - go out to overtake later than usual, not think for a second that the engine’s capabilities may not be enough, and drive, breaking speed mode. And try not to break it when the car literally tears out of your hands! At the same time, the engine still manages to consume fuel economically - 12.5 liters per hundred for a car with such a temperament - an excellent result.

The Q50 looks good inside, but Infiniti's designers could have been more imaginative by adding more flair and personality to the sporty sedan's interior. And so it is actually no different from the interior of the “civilian” version.

In my memory, this is the first car that has two screens on the center console: the top one displays the navigation map and menu Drive systems Mode, and the bottom one is responsible for the operation of the media center. It looks unusual, but in fact it’s convenient: you don’t need to leave the navigator when choosing a radio station or music file. As for the Drive Mode function, which allows you to customize various parameters car and has five preset modes, as well as the possibility of individual “tuning”, then it is interesting for the first two hours, then you no longer feel any particular desire to change anything - the car drives great anyway.

The dashboard is simple and informative. You can display navigator tips on the color screen in the center, but in Croatia, where the new product was tested, it did not work - the person who came from Russia did not have a car detailed maps Europe...

    Driving

Outstanding dynamics and a perfectly tuned chassis. You forget that the wheels are controlled by a computer already from the first kilometers of the journey.

    Salon

Convenient, beautiful, but without a “zest”, except for the two displays on the center console

    Comfort

Having received an additional charge of dynamics, the Ifiniti Q50 S remains a business sedan, quite comfortable in everyday life

    Safety

The power reserve is an additional guarantee of safety when overtaking, and slippery road will help four-wheel drive

    Price

“Japanese” will cost significantly less German competitors, although it will be inferior to them in power and dynamics

    Average score

    • Excellent dynamics, all-wheel drive, price
    • Few “sporty” accents both outside and inside
