ŠKODA AUTO a.s. and VOLKSWAGEN Group Rus LLC respectively provide a manufacturer's warranty for each vehicle sold. The manufacturer has established a general Warranty period for ŠKODA vehicles - 2 (two) years without mileage limitation.
For ŠKODA Rapid cars produced in the territory of the Russian Federation, starting from January 1, 2016, the manufacturer provides a quality guarantee for a period of 3 (three) years or until the car reaches 100,000 km (whichever comes first), if At the same time, during the first 2 (two) years of operation, the conditions for providing a quality guarantee do not depend on the mileage. This condition applies only to vehicles sold through the network of ŠKODA Official Dealers in the Russian Federation and intended for use on the Russian market.
The warranty period for elements, parts and components supplied with the car, but not included in its complete set (except for those that are not covered by the warranty obligations according to the list below in this Service Book) expires simultaneously with the Warranty period for the car.
Parts and accessories warranty
The warranty period for original ŠKODA parts and accessories is 2 years without mileage limitation and begins on the day the part is handed over (sold) by an authorized dealer or on the day the part or accessory is installed on the vehicle by the dealer.
Perforating corrosion guarantee
For the absence of perforating corrosion, for new cars, a 12-year warranty is provided with no mileage limitation.
Warranty for paintwork
The absence of manufacturing defects in the body paintwork is covered by a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty.

Skoda provides for all its new cars purchased in Russia, two-year unlimited mileage warranty from the date of purchase (date specified in the car's service book) from an authorized Skoda dealer. This warranty covers any malfunctions caused by the manufacturer, these malfunctions can be eliminated by any authorized Skoda dealer, regardless of where the car was purchased (meaning only authorized dealers).
If you purchased original Skoda Auto parts or accessories from an authorized dealer, then they are also covered by a two-year unlimited mileage warranty from the date of purchase and installation of this part only from an authorized dealer. Mobility guarantee (Skoda Assistance)
Among other things, the company offers its customers a mobility guarantee, which provides all owners of new Skoda cars with free technical assistance on the roads, towing and some other services during the entire period of the basic two-year car warranty, subject to the other conditions of the warranty agreement.
Important Warranty Notes
It should be understood that the described warranty provisions do not apply to parts that are naturally worn out as a result of vehicle operation, such as brake pads and discs, bulbs, filters, wiper blades, tires, and the like. However, there are a number of exceptions in which you may be partially or completely denied warranty repairs, such as:
1. The use of low-quality consumables and fuels and lubricants, as well as non-original Skoda parts and accessories, including tuning;
2. Excessive overloading and improper operation (including the use of the car for driving training, as well as participation in rallies and races);
3. Partial or complete immersion of the car in water, which led to the appearance of corrosion damage;
4. Use of low-quality fuel that does not meet the established standards of the Russian Federation and the recommendations of the Skoda company;
5. Failure to comply with other rules and conditions of operation, maintenance and proper care of the car, regulated by the rules of the Skoda company;
6. Failure of units and damage resulting from an accident, as well as other external influences (bouncing stones, sand, gravel, chemical and other effects) or natural disasters.
