A little history
Initially, the concept called Luciolla, created by the Italdizain studio, was intended for Fiat. But they didn't think it was handsome enough to bear the name of an Italian car.
The Italians made the Fiat Seicento for themselves, and the Matiz eventually went to the Korean company Daewoo, which, starting in 1997, assembled it and sent it to the Old World.
