The side compartments of the air intake are covered with a fine-mesh grille and are equipped with protective bridges in the middle, coated with chrome for greater effect. The fog lights are located below these compartments - at the very bottom of the body of the new 2019 Nissan Qashqai.

Thanks to the fact that the inside of the arches is trimmed with the same black plastic that is used to protect the lower part of the body, they look deep rather than disproportionate. Wide side doors with a deep “three-dimensional” stamping pattern complement the image of a sporty, aggressive crossover.
Both the front and rear headlights (photo below) of the new 2019 Nissan Qashqai are fully LED, which means they are more durable and brighter than their halogen counterparts. The rear optics, which determine the appearance of the “stern” of the Nissan Qashqai, are made in the shape of the letter C (the effect of the opening is created by white areas) and extend onto both the luggage compartment door and the fenders of the car.
The fifth door of the crossover itself is traditionally wide, comfortable and equipped with a protruding spoiler and a standard windshield wiper that automatically starts working when moving backwards. The side lights of the Nissan Qashqai are narrow and relatively short, also red. Pipes exhaust system of the new crossover are placed in long narrow niches that maximally hide elements that are unaesthetic, in the opinion of the developer.
The connecting element of the body is the roof, which smoothly flows from the hood and passes into the trunk door. At the driver's request, it can be equipped with comfortable roof rails or a hatch.

Five adults of European build can easily fit into the interior of the restyled model (photo below). Some experts believe that the middle back of the common rear "sofa", slightly convex, is uncomfortable and unsuitable for accommodating a passenger. The issue is controversial: unlike Kia models, the middle back does not extend beyond the level of the side seats and is an absolutely flat surface, quite suitable for the back of an adult. However, if possible, it is better not to risk your own comfort and seat four people in the cabin: then the middle back of the “sofa” turns into a comfortable armrest with a double cup holder.
To protect the driver from spinal problems, the designers of the 2019 Nissan Qashqai re-developed the anatomical shape of the seats: now they are even more comfortable, safer during sudden stops and suitable for every posture. In advanced configurations, each Nissan Qashqai seat has heating, ventilation and multi-position electric drive options.
The backs of the rear seats can, depending on the driver’s needs, be folded in a proportion of 2/3 or 3/3; at the same time, the trunk volume almost quadruples.
