I will sum up the results of 3 seasons of driving (10,000 km in Moscow 99%).

Let's start with a list of minor repair work: after driving 10,000 kilometers changed the tire front wheel and dismantled the clutch - it began to slip a little. I will put a 3-inch tire on asphalt instead of 2.75, it will wear out more slowly. I'll disassemble the clutch, look at the springs, I think that they have weakened.

Driving process.

High landing on the lf 200 - everything is perfectly visible ahead, even through the roofs of cars, but it is somewhat more difficult to maintain balance at low speed and with a strong side wind. It's also pretty easy to jump up curbs because of large diameter wheels. Suspension travel is long enough to jump speed bumps at 60 km. The jump from the ramp is practically not felt, if you stand up at the same time (jumped from a height of 50 cm, did not come across higher).

One of the nice lifan features lf200 gy 5 - the ability to drive almost close to the curb, as the steps do not catch. Due to the low weight of the bike, you can drive in very narrow places - just by tilting the bike and stepping over with one foot. Minor damage:

The chrome trim on the muffler has come off. Since it does not play any role, he quit wallowing in the garage.

The signal stopped working. I went under warranty, they showed the adjusting bolt. Turned half a turn - everything worked as it should.

Unscrewed the postings of the mass, the light was gone. Screwed the mass in another place.

The headlight bulb burned out. Bought for 250 r. (in the southern port costs 70 rubles.)

Burnt stop. Bought for 10 rubles.

The plug from the transmission sensor popped out. I put it back (the oil started to go away).

I didn’t notice anything like this, I just wipe it with a toothbrush with applied working off before the trip so that it’s not completely dry. As a result, the chain should be enough for twenty thousand.

It began to poison the oil from under the clutch lever. The reason is the kink of the rubber breather hose, hence the loss of oil. The hose unfolded on its own.

The first thousand pads were a little wedged. I looked, threw a piece of iron out of the caliper, sawed off the protrusion on the block - everything returned to normal.

As a result of the fall, both mirrors were broken. 400 rubles for each.

Tightened the chain every 2000 km.

The anti-theft lock was untwisted and hung on one self-tapping screw. I had to boil it.

Design flaws in my opinion:

There is no fuel gauge. It is very inconvenient somewhere in the tunnel to start frantically looking for a switch to the reserve.

The headlight is not bright enough. It is very inconvenient to change the bulb. The original cartridge, so the standard one from the car will not work.

Narrow seat. It's stylish and all, but it's a little uncomfortable to sit on.

Decorative blotches on the sides do not carry any benefit. Inside, it would be nice to make an empty place for all sorts of little things, otherwise there is nowhere to even put a piece of cloth.

The original carving of a candle is almost impossible to find if it burned out outside of Moscow.

In traffic jams, a wide steering wheel interferes. When traveling through the forest is also very uncomfortable. I had to cut off five centimeters on each side. It has become a little better, it would not hurt to cut down the same amount, but then the steering wheel will have to be bent.

It is difficult to catch the neutral line - it constantly jumps from 2 to 1. It causes a lot of inconvenience at stops.

What would I buy for myself in the future? I don’t want to buy a scooter with a volume of 250-300 cubic meters; it would be impractical to buy a Japanese for 300,000. The competitor, again made in China, is a classic of 250-300 cubes, there are no more than a couple of models. For this reason, I would recommend to all readers of my review to choose from these 3 models (well, there is also a lottery for buying used equipment)

Several crashes and their consequences:

Fell on the asphalt two years ago at a speed of 40 (after a watering machine plus rear brake- the motorcycle went skidding). Broken mirrors, bent steering wheel, a few scratches on the plastic.

Falling into a thicket of hogweed at a speed of 10 (an imperceptible rut in the grass plus too high speed in first gear) - no consequences.

Falling on the side while stopping (high saddle + foot caught on the bag on the trunk). Broken mirror.

Crash while trying to drive over a dirty and wet curb at speed 10. Well, that's my own fault. I did not fall, but the speedometer on the bike began to give incorrect readings - speed per 20 km. higher.

Preventive work:

Lubricate the suspension once a season. Factory lubrication was, but not enough. I lubricated the speedometer drive, treated the cables and some contacts on the wiring with used oil.

I check tire pressure once a month.

What competitors did you meet:

Well, what can I say - almost everything is the same, I see no reason to compare, well, except that the "strike" has a round headlight, which is somewhat more convenient, and the Kaliningrader's legs are somewhat simpler. If the prices for the Japanese were reduced by a factor of three, they would be competitors.

I wrote a letter to the Lifan company, in which I suggested organizing the supply of spare parts “so that everything was there”, and issuing a repair and maintenance manual. A certain Misha answered - they say, we will consider. Been considering for almost a year now. I think they just don't care about sales in Russia - a few hundred bikes a year is too little reason to publish a full manual.

And finally, for future buyers: take it, lifan zid lf200 will not disappoint, there are almost no problems with it, and it’s not critical for the wallet. For example, this is how I ride on my native rubber, with the original spark plug and chain, despite negative feedback. At night, I just don’t ride more than 70 km / h, that’s all.

And then an ad appears, they say, I’m selling a motorbike that has stood at the service for more than six months and they demand for its repair more money what it's worth. And again Lifan LF200 GY-5, only red. Yes, and good!

Contacted the owner. The bottom line is this: the motorcycle was bought as entertainment, the owner's son rode it, hit nothing at all, a little more than two thousand. But in one of summer days his friend got on the motorbike and got out firmly on the dirt road.

The moto has a broken front fender, the tail fell off by welding, the muzzle is broken, the seat is torn, grips are broken, the handles are broken.

But the most the main thing is a motorcycle wouldn't start with electric start or kick. The battery briskly turned the starter, but there were no flashes, and the kick was easily and effortlessly turned by hand. The diagnosis of the servicemen is that there is no compression and it is necessary to sort out the CPG.

It sucks, of course, I thought, but you can restore everything yourself.

However, the price set by the pre-owner (previous owner) allowed me to hope that, together with the spare parts, I would be able to meet the money that I had. Meanwhile, in the service for repairs and zaps, they requested the cost of a whole new engine!

Came for an inspection. What they rolled out to me was a mixture of metal, plastic and dirt. It looked so shocking that the price set by the owner seemed to me pretty high and I took a break.

But I already wanted to restore it. I love this moped! So he looked at me with his muzzle rolled to one side, that I could not resist. We bargained and now the keys and documents for what should again become a motorcycle are in my hands!

They roll the moped out of the box for me, I take it out of the gate and start with wires and the blessed blue electrical tape to bring the moped into a more or less decent look so that nothing falls off of it along the way. Along the way, I shake off lumps of dirt from it.

And we went!

Immediately rolled Lifan to the nearest gas station. No, I did not fill it up, but inflated the tires to 2 atmospheres to make it easier to roll. :)

In theory, in about eight hours, I could have rolled it home, but I decided to mess it up and risked putting it on the train! Well, they would have kicked me out of there, so be it!, but they would have driven me a few kilometers to the house!

Near the station there is a self-service car wash. I push the mot there and for quite a long time I knock dirt off the motorcycle.

Here I am at the railway station. He hid the motorcycle behind a column so that the driver would not immediately notice it and rolled it into the last car, through the last door, so as not to interfere with people moving on the train.
And it must happen that literally immediately after the start of movement, the second driver came out of the rear cab. Or assistant, not the point. And its hinged door rested on a motorcycle. And he looked at me sternly And said that it was not worthwhile to carry a motor cart in electric trains.

But when he looked at my self-running wagon, his heart took pity, and he graciously allowed me to proceed to the desired station, if the controllers did not kick out ...

I'm waiting for controllers. One station. Two stations, transfer to the third ... And here they are.
I present a ticket for myself and for the “bike”. They neighed and ... also did not mind! It was obvious right away that my moped was suffering… And I, along with him!

It’s already more fun to roll from the station to the house, only three kilometers with a penny.

What would you say if I told you that service lift did not work? But he didn't work! I had to call the control room, surprisingly, the fitter came quickly. And now the motorcycle is on my floor. I have no desire to leave it there, therefore, I take it out to the balcony, which will soon become a motor repair shop.

There was nothing corny to check the compression, and I didn’t even think about it, because they told me in the workshop that they had already checked everything and there was no pressure.

The next morning I got up early and began to unscrew all the nuts that held the motor.

The Chinese, as always, in their repertoire: nuts for 15 and 16 !!! I stomp for the keys to the store.

I keep spinning. I disconnect the connectors, unscrew the muffler, disconnect the throttle and clutch cables. I take out the last long bolt, on which the engine hangs ... From a pancake, you also need to remove the chain! :)))

I was sure that this is what everything would be limited to, but I was surprised by the presence electrical wires! Forgot about them! I unscrew, disconnect, having previously signed and marked everything.

So that the engine does not hit the concrete floor at the time of removal, I placed a plastic canister.
And rightly so: although the engine is not too heavy, it is not convenient to hold it.

I clean the engine with a brush from the dirt remaining after washing, I collect it from the floor with a vacuum cleaner.
I'm starting to disassemble the engine.

It turned out that there is nothing complicated in this. You really unscrew almost all the nuts you see! :)

Unless I immediately dismantled the head with valves, poured kerosene into them and checked the tightness, you never know, suddenly pressure is poisoning through the valves?

But everything was normal here, and I continued to disassemble. It was necessary to remove the cooling jacket and release the piston.

Well, surprise, no problems were found on the walls of the cylinder. Smooth mirror!

The piston on top is badly scratched, but the rings are normal and the skirt is without defects.
The finger was easily removed from the connecting rod. It is necessary to mark exactly how he stood!

He took out the rings from the piston grooves, examined them. On the rings themselves and on the piston there are small traces of oil deposits, washed everything under the tap with an ordinary toothbrush with a detergent.
I checked the gaps by inserting the rings into the cylinder - the norm.

14.

Went to a friend of friends, measured the cylinder from the inside. The difference is only two hundredths, this is very good and there should be no problems with compression.

Per day in valves full order, kerosene does not penetrate under the plates.

Well, we need to collect everything back.

I assembled it, twisted it, since there really is nothing complicated, plus the whole sequence was photographed.
But how without mischief? I twisted the rockers, and the last bolt easily and effortlessly broke off in my hands! Fortunately, it was not screwed in deeply and did not drag out (!), I turned it out with pliers, grabbing the rest of the thread.
And only a day later I was able to find a suitable bolt with the desired thread pitch. It had to be cut because it was too long.

By the way, I replaced the gaskets with new ones, and there were no traces of burnout on the old ones.

I decided to adjust the valves already on the engine installed in the frame. What I regretted a little: in the frame, the cover rests on the upper edge and it can be removed only by releasing the two front ones and removing the upper rear engine mounting bolts.
I will not describe the adjustment itself, it is described in detail in many places.

15.

Cleaned out the carburetor. There was a lot of dirt in it. Why so many, I wonder?

Put a new chain, lubed all the cables, installed in place. But with the muffler gasket, the lining came out: I had to run after it! Well, this penny detail is over in all the stores I know!

But the motor is already in the frame, connected, the wires are connected. Would like to try!
There is oil in the crankcase, but the cylinder is dry. I did not think of lubricating it from the inside before assembly.

I pour through candle hole some oil, and I try to smoothly turn the kick starter by hand to disperse the oil through the cylinder. You can’t use a starter, everything will be wiped dry too quickly.

I press the palm of my hand - the shaft makes a little more than a third and freezes in place. Together with him, my heart stops in a terrible guess: “jammed”!

I couldn't turn it by hand! He stood on the footboard and pressed his foot. And the piston went! With an effort, as expected! Joy!

A few turns with an effort and the cylinder is lubricated, it became a little easier to walk.
Gotta try to start. Well, I want to!
I turn the key in the ignition, the neutral light on the tidy lights up, I again stand on the bandwagon and sharply press on the kick.

Here my Lifan decided to play the old IZH! He kicked me so hard that he pierced through the rubber sole of my slipper! The foot also did not get sickly, it hurt.

But what did it tell me? I didn’t think about pain at all, but I was glad that there was compression! Well, an engine without compression cannot kick like that!

I put the motorcycle boot on my right foot and try again.
I remind you that the motorcycle is on a glazed balcony.
Why is this mention important?

a) started up!
b) was without a silencer at all

I washed my hands of oil and again rushed off in search of a gasket between the exhaust port of the cylinder and the coarse muffler. Found.
Returned. Put. Complained.
