Design

Crossover buyers can expect two more pieces of news. The good thing is that its engines consume 92-octane gasoline without any problems, but the bad thing is that the sound insulation is poor, and this despite an increase in the area of ​​sound-insulating coatings by 55%. The harsh Russian winter is not a hindrance for the RAV4 2016, since everything that is possible in it is heated, and to be more precise - the front and rear seats, steering wheel, windshield (heated with incandescent filaments), exterior mirrors and windshield washer nozzles. In addition, there is an additional electric interior heater.

Comfort

In the interior, first of all, the finishing has been improved: the materials have become higher quality and premium. Fabric, leather and silver plastic are used for decoration. The dashboard is completely new, with a 4.2-inch color screen and blue backlight, like Hyundai's. Even in the expensive configuration, they are trimmed with textiles, which, however, is more comfortable in hot weather than leather that quickly heats up in the sun. The RAV4 Toyota Safety Sense package of active safety systems is complemented by three electronic assistants - a frontal impact prevention system with an auto-braking function, cruise control with a function to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead and a traffic sign recognition system. We remind you that in addition, the Toyota Safety Sense package includes automatic shift systems high beam near and lane departure alerts.
