Maz 206 gas. Direct supplies of spare parts for MAZ, LiAZ, Karosa buses from manufacturers! The choice fell on the leader

In 2006, at an exhibition in Moscow, the MAZ-206 from Minsk was recognized as the best city bus. automobile plant. Let's see why this particular model received the award.

Manufacturer

The MAZ-206 bus is produced by the Minsk Automobile Plant, located in the capital of Belarus. The company is the most major manufacturer equipment among all CIS countries. The plant's products are popular not only in their native Belarus, but also in Russia, as well as in the countries of Southeast Asia.

The company was founded immediately after in August 1944. The plant initially produced heavy-duty vehicles and trailers. The production of city buses began not so long ago, in 1992. The supply of buses from Hungary for city streets was stopped, so the country's passenger transport required updating. Soon it was decided to open a branch of the automobile plant in Minsk, which was named AMAZ.

The development of buses began with the signing of a contract with the Neoplan company, which produces buses in Germany. Already in 1996, AMAZ specialists were able to present the first low-floor model produced in the country - it was the MAZ-103.

Development model range buses continued. And already in 2006, the MAZ-206 was presented in Moscow. This is a second generation model, which is assembled using imported components and parts. The basis for its production was the MAZ-203, which has a length of twelve meters.

Interior

The MAZ-206 city bus has a capacity of twenty-five seats. In this case, the total passenger capacity reaches seventy-two people.

The seats are arranged in four rows. Most of them occur in the tail section of the bus. Back rows the seats are on a pedestal. This is due to the location in this place power unit.

There is a storage area in the central part large sizes. The seats themselves cannot be disassembled or adjusted. They are quite tough. At the buyer's choice, products made in Belarus or Poland can be installed.

Metal handrails add attractiveness to the interior. They are painted powder paint. Above them there are lamps for interior lighting.

Body

The body of the MAZ-206 bus is all-metal. Fiberglass is used to decorate the rear and front parts. Bumpers are made from the same material. The entire body is painted with multi-component polyurethane-based paint.

Glass is glued into the openings. They, it should be noted, are made of something capable of storing heat.

There are digital displays on three sides of the bus: behind the windshield, above the glass between the front and central doors, on rear window. Information system has a voice informant.

Pneumatic sliding doors. They are equipped with emergency opening. To ensure the safety of passengers, there is a control system that prohibits the bus from moving with the doors open.

The central door is equipped with a folding ladder. It is necessary for people with disorders of the musculoskeletal system. In addition, a special handrail has been created for them.

Driver's cabin

The driver's seat is protected from common salon glass partition. The resulting cabin can be of two types:

  • Completely enclosed by a partition up to the ceiling.
  • Fenced by a partition half a meter high. This design allows the driver to issue travel tickets to passengers.

convenient for the driver. All sensors are located at a distance that allows the driver not to reach for them. Control devices placed directly in front of the driver. To look at them, you don’t need to be distracted from the controls.

MAZ-206: technical characteristics

The power unit is located at the rear of the bus. Access to it is provided by a lifting lid.

There are three types of engines that are installed on the bus:

  • Engine produced by Mercedes-Benz with a volume of four and a half liters and a power of one hundred and seventy-seven hp. Its characteristics meet the requirements of the Euro-3 standard.
  • In the second modification of the MAZ-206 bus, the engine is similar to the previous one, but it belongs to the Euro-4 standard.
  • Engine made in Belarus MMZ D 245.30. It produces 154 power horsepower. Complies with Euro-2 standards.

All engines described are turbocharged four-cylinder.

The transmission also has several options:

  • Six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. IN in this case no clutch needed.
  • Mechanical synchronized has cable control. The clutch is hydraulic and has a pneumatic booster.

Pneumatic suspension with electronic or mechanical control.

To warm up the engine in the cold season, a system called “Webasta” is provided. She represents liquid heater. This makes the engine easier to start. Another purpose of the system is to keep the engine warm for a certain time.

Heating and ventilation systems

The city bus is heated with a three-circuit system. The interior is heated by the temperature of the engine coolant. A separate heating system is provided for the driver. It includes several radiators and fans.

As for interior ventilation, it is carried out naturally. Windows and roof hatches are used for this purpose. At the customer's request, additional ventilation on the ceiling or air conditioning can be installed.

Disadvantages of the bus

Despite the award received, the MAZ-206 bus is not ideal. During operation, it showed some shortcomings:

  • Poor level of vibration protection.
  • The declared fuel consumption is greatly underestimated. In fact, the bus consumes much more.
  • Leave much to be desired brake pads. They don't always work well. But for urban transport that transports so many people, safety must come first.

Whatever it is, the repair and operation of the MAZ-206 bus is quite simple. All necessary nodes are in accessible places. There are also no problems with purchasing spare parts. In addition, you won’t have to purchase them often. The main components and parts have long term services. In this regard, the bus can be called reliable and durable.

The MAZ-206 city bus from Belarus is not ideal, but it is perfect for use in small towns with narrow streets. The bus is suitable for routes with light traffic. This model is often chosen as a service bus.

The MAZ-206 city bus was developed and launched in mass production in 1996 in Minsk The need to create a model for transporting people on intra-city routes has been long overdue, since after Hungary stopped supplying the famous Ikarus, all major cities in the CIS countries were left virtually without public transport.

Contract

Minsk specialists signed a license agreement with the German bus concern Neoplan for the production of buses under their own brand. After some time it was created basic model MAZ-103. Then we developed several more modifications aimed at Passenger Transportation within the city limits. The machines began to be successfully operated in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus itself.

Update

In 2006, it was presented at the Moscow Motor Show new modification - passenger bus for city routes MAZ-206, specifications which differed from the usual ones. It was a low-floor type vehicle for transporting limited quantity passengers. The bus was designed according to light load standards and could not fully load the interior. Its characteristics were suitable for transport official use and VIP trips. To work on busy city routes, other, more powerful equipment was required.

The low-floor model MAZ-206 with a storage platform in the central part of the cabin was successfully operated on lines with average passenger traffic. The automatic retractable platform made the bus indispensable for people with disabilities and patients confined to a wheelchair.

Capacity

The total number of seats in the cabin is 25 seats, the bulk of which are located in the rear of the bus. There are only five seats in front, the rest of the space is intended for standing passengers and wheelchairs. In total, the bus can accommodate 72 people, but this is only theoretical. In fact, such downloading is never allowed.

The seats in the cabin are comfortable, of two types: semi-soft with fabric upholstery of local production and velor type Ster of increased comfort, made in Poland.

Design

The body of the MAZ-206 model is all-metal, load-bearing, carriage type. The frame is assembled from box-shaped profiles, which are welded together and form a lightweight and durable structure. After this, the base is sheathed with galvanized iron sheets, thus creating walls and a roof. The front of the car and everything rear end fiberglass.

To glue glass into window openings, the manufacturer uses special technologies that significantly increase the rigidity of the entire structure. Windshield is made of triplex, and all other windows, including tilting windows, are made of heat-absorbing tempered glass material.

Mechanics

The MAZ-206 bus is equipped with two doors of a hinged design with a maximum glazing area. Each sash is reinforced with diagonally located handrails. The bus is equipped with a special safety device that blocks movement when open door, turning off the engine.

Spacious driver's seat basic version configuration is separated from the interior. There is a special window on the right side of the partition through which you can accept fares and issue tickets.

Control

The driver's seat of the MAZ-206 model is equipped quite rationally and thoughtfully. All controls, including auxiliary ones, are well illuminated, the chair with good ergonomic characteristics is equipped with a headrest and is adjustable in height and in the longitudinal plane. Steering column produced by the German company ZF can also be understood and omitted if there is such a need.

The engine is located at the rear of the bus; its layout made it possible to abandon the traditional portal bridge. Rear axle- with gearboxes located in the center, driving. The engine is controlled using complex organized system traction rods that transmit driver commands to the accelerator, levers and axle gearboxes. Brake system The MAZ-206 car is pneumatic, equipped with an ABS anti-lock device.

The bus is good service maintenance, MAZ-206 spare parts that may be required for repairs are included in advance in the price of the car, but only in the minimum range. However, this is an additional incentive to attract buyers.

Power point

The MAZ-206 engine, which is installed on the bus, German made, from Mercedes-Benz, with power from 178 hp. It is adapted for driving on city streets with frequent gas changes and other non-standard loads. The undeniable advantage of this motor is its compliance environmental requirements according to Euro-4 and Euro-5 standards. In addition, the specified power unit equipped with a Webasto device, a heater for starting in the cold season.

For those who want to use budget option It is proposed to install an MMZ brand motor. This power unit locally produced has a power of 154 hp. With. and answers environmental standards"Euro-2". And for those buyers who are not going to save money, the manufacturer can offer a Daimler-Chrysler engine. All engines consume approximately the same amount of fuel per hundred kilometers, namely 17-22 liters. And if you consider that the MAZ-206 is 140 liters, then the bus can carry passengers throughout the working day without refueling.

MAZ-206 for OMSI

The bus successfully runs through city streets in different countries. In addition, MAZ-206 is a member of the OMSI, computer game. In essence, this is an ordinary simulator, but with good positioning. A full range of options is offered, the car moves along the route, the road situation is constantly changing, the torquey engine allows you to maneuver.

The development of this series was carried out as part of the work on the second generation of buses together with the MAZ-203. In fact, the MAZ-206 is a smaller version of it, on the same base. And had to replace the previous one own development MAZ-256 plant, which was created on the chassis medium-duty truck.
The first copy of the new bus was presented by the plant in June 2006, and already in August 2006 it was exhibited to the general public at the Moscow Motor Show - that is, a year after the demonstration of the base (203rd) generation model.
The middle class bus is low-floor, has a shortened body, and, unlike its predecessor, has a foreign component base, but with the development of domestic analogues produced at the MMZ and YaMZ plants and others, there is a great prospect of switching to a domestic base without loss of quality.

The middle class of buses is extremely relevant not only in suburban and rural transportation, but also in big cities at that time, and on those routes where the intensity of passenger flows naturally decreases depending on the time of day - then it becomes economically unjustified to operate large city buses. Also, now in major cities The demand for intra-district and “chord” routes connecting highways, transport hubs and infrastructure facilities has grown and continues to grow, such as shopping centers and markets. In traffic jams and difficult road conditions value compact dimensions is only increasing, which also contributes to the growth in demand for these buses.

Technical features of buses

Body and interior. MAZ-206 has two doors - a single-section in the front and a two-section in the center, leading to a spacious storage area. The exterior design of the MAZ-206 is largely borrowed from the base model of the MAZ-203 city bus, which is justified for many reasons. The length of the body is 8.6 m. The floor level is 340 mm from the road surface, the bus is also equipped with a kniling system, controlled by a button on the dashboard in the driver's cabin, which allows, if necessary, to reduce ground clearance up to 270 mm.

Bus to basic configuration(currently) is equipped with a ramp to ensure boarding of passengers with strollers and those with mobility impairments.

The bus is designed to carry 70 passengers, of which 25 passengers have the opportunity to use seats.

The integral steering mechanism increases maneuverability and provides a turning radius of 9 m.

Let's see why this particular model received the award.

Cars and buses of the Minsk Automobile Plant traditionally occupy a prominent place in Russian roads and on the streets of Russian cities. Increasingly, new Minsk MAZ-206s are seen on Russian roads - modern city buses that meet the highest standards for ecology, comfort and safety. Read about these interesting buses from all sides in this article.

General view

The MAZ-206 bus was first introduced back in 2006, but mass production and deliveries of these vehicles to Russia began only in 2012. This is due to the introduction of a recycling fee in our country, due to which many foreign buses have increased in price. As you know, Belarus is a member of the Customs Union, and therefore neither recycling collection, nor other customs duties apply to goods from this country.

MAZ-206 is a medium low-floor bus designed for use on urban and suburban routes. This model was created within the framework of a single conceptual solution of modern passenger transport, and therefore has a series common features with other buses of the Minsk Automobile Plant.

A distinctive feature of the MAZ-206 is its compliance with Euro-4 environmental standards (there are also Euro-5 modifications), increased requirements for comfort and safety. Correspondence environmental standards achieved using modern engines foreign production, comfort is increased thanks to the thoughtful design of the interior and the adaptability of the bus for people with disabilities, and a high degree of safety is ensured by the truss structure of the body frame and nearby constructive solutions in the cabin.

MAZ-206 inside and outside

The total capacity of the MAZ-206 is 72 people; the bus has 25 seats, as well as one special place for securing a wheelchair. The bus is equipped with two entrances: the front with a single door and the rear with double doors. When the doors are opened, two protective mechanisms are activated: the activation of the anti-pinch mechanism and the blocking of the brakes.

Low-floor bus, front floor passenger compartment is located at a height of only 340 mm from the road surface (the rear platform, located behind the second door, is raised higher), however, the car has a “kneeling” function, that is, a tilt of the body, in which the floor height is reduced to only 270 mm. In addition, the bus is equipped with a ramp - a special folding ramp for the entry of a wheelchair.

The body frame is made in the form of a spatial steel truss, which has significant strength and rigidity. This design ensures the strength of the bus and the safety of passengers in an accident, including when the car rolls over. The side and top parts of the body are made of anti-corrosion material(galvanized steel), the lower part of the body is subjected to anti-corrosion treatment.

The interior of the MAZ-206 is made in a modern, restrained style, the floor is covered with wear-resistant material “Grabiol”, semi-soft seats are upholstered in fabric, ergonomic handrails with a complex profile have an anti-slip coating. The cabin ceiling is equipped with a special heat and sound insulating coating.

The designers also took care of the bus driver, who will have to work on the route for many hours in a row. The driver's seat is located behind a partition, equipped with an adjustable air-cushioned seat, and the height and tilt of the steering column is also adjustable. The bus is equipped with a modern instrument panel with LCD displays. Large heated rear-view mirrors provide an overview of the space around the car. Interestingly, heating is also built into the electronic displays indicating the route.

Technical details

The “heart” of the bus is a 177-horsepower diesel engine. Mercedes-Benz engine OM 904LA class Euro-4 (new modifications - Euro-5), additionally equipped preheater Webasto. Torque from engine through automatic transmission ZF gears (models ZF 6HP 504C or ZF 6S700 BO) are transmitted to the DANA rear drive axle. The bus also uses other foreign-made components: centralized system Lincoln lubricants, lighting HELLA and others.

The suspension is independent, pneumatic, providing a smooth ride that is simply amazing for a car of this weight. Braking system, also powered by compressed air, equipped with an ABS system.

Problems and disadvantages of the MAZ-206

Most companies using MAZ-206 buses speak generally positively about the vehicle. However, the new Minsk bus also has a number of disadvantages.

The main “disease” of buses is the failure of the switching unit controller (KBK) due to increased vibration. Because of the shaking, the contacts simply come loose, which is why everything stops working. dashboard. In the new modifications of the MAZ-206, coming off the assembly line now, this problem has been solved.

Certain difficulties arise when servicing the engine. During operation, a Mercedes engine that complies with the Euro-4 class consumes a special reagent - urea, which is located in a separate tank. Already at a temperature of -11°C, urea crystallizes, so it (and the engine itself) must be warmed up before starting the engine. There were also cases of failure of the urea pump, as a result of which the engine operated in emergency mode.

Despite the fact that the bus designers have taken measures for corrosion protection, many sensors and some of the wiring, nevertheless, sometimes fail with constant contact with de-icing reagents (door opening sensors and ramps are the first to suffer).

By the way, the ramp also often becomes a source of problems: it has an ill-conceived design, as a result of which boarding and disembarking passengers in wheelchairs becomes difficult and time-consuming, and to do this the driver has to leave his seat.

Finally, something must be said about the fabric upholstery of the passenger seats. The selected material is not in the best possible way suitable for this role, it quickly gets dirty, loses its appearance and becomes unusable.

All these shortcomings are easily “curable”, and the Minsk Automobile Plant corrects them when releasing new buses. But in general, the MAZ-206 is an excellent choice for urban and suburban routes average workload. This reliable, modern, inexpensive and unpretentious bus will quickly pay for itself and justify the hopes placed on it.
