In the outlines of the cabin of the new UAZ creation, it is easy to see the similarity with the front part of the body of the latter. However, the developers tried to distance the models as much as possible and at the same time provide the Pros with additional functional elements. So the front bumper of the lorry was sewn up with black plastic resistant to external influences, and wheel arches covered with similar plastic expanders. In addition, the radiator grille and headlights have been adjusted. The latter are equipped with sections by default running lights, but the fog lights, which occupy places in special niches in the bumper, appear only in the expensive “Comfort” package.

In general, from the outside the UAZ Profi looks very nice and certainly no worse than other representatives of the small commercial vehicle segment. The version with a cabin painted in green “metallic” color looks especially bright and expressive. In addition to this color, four more shades are offered - white, silver, dark gray, black.

Platform

A curious detail in the exterior of the new UAZ is two versions of the side mirrors. In modifications with a basic cargo platform, the mirrors are attached to compact supports that allow for electrical position adjustment, while in cars with wide sides the brackets are much longer and provide maximum heating for the mirrors.

But the three-seater option also has its advantages, for example, a spacious drawer under the sofa cushion, where even large things can fit.

All-wheel drive modifications, according to representatives of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, should turn out to be much more popular than rear-wheel drive ones. And it’s easy to agree with this, because switching to 4WD will cost only 37 thousand rubles - a trifling overpayment for a guaranteed reduction in the risk of getting stuck somewhere off-road. However, in the interior of the UAZ Pro with a connected front axle there are no longer three, but only two seats. In the center, between the two seats, there is an impressive box, while on the tunnel next to the gearshift lever another handle appears, with which the 4x4 mode and downshift are activated.

Technical characteristics of UAZ Pro 2017-2018

The new UAZ Profi frame truck is equipped with a modernized 2.7-liter ZMZ-PRO gasoline engine. After increasing the compression ratio to 9.8 (previously it was 9.2) and introducing a number constructive changes The power of the unit increased to 149.6 hp, and the torque increased to 235.4 Nm. The engine is designed to use AI-92 gasoline, but is also adapted for operation on gas. Switching to propane/butane leads to a slight deterioration in the traction characteristics of the engine - power decreases to 143 hp, torque drops to 227.5 Nm. Engine ZMZ-PRO

The ZMZ engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission Korean company Dymos.
