The most sold class of cars in local market are segment B models. Due to the current financial situation, prices for most of them have increased. And yet there are very inexpensive options. One of these is ZAZ-Forza. The following is a history of technical specifications of this car and its place in the market.

Small and quiet

In motion, the ZAZ Forza is not a revelation (see video test drive). Ordinary budget car. The character of the motor is very pleasant. He confidently pulls from the very bottom. The other side of the coin is that at speeds above 4 thousand, the engine feels quite uncomfortable. The box works quite clearly, but the noise from it is more than we would like to hear. And speaking of shortcomings, the owners of the Zaz Forza 2019 are unlikely to like the excessively large rolls in corners. When going through bends, the car tilts quite noticeably; it would not hurt to subject this part of the chassis to tuning. On a flat road and when cornering with plenty of reserve, the car behaves quite comfortably and predictably.

ZAZ Forza has been in production for more than five years (since December 2010), and during this time it has managed to become popular among millions of drivers. This is not surprising - the car turned out to be successful from all sides.

Zaz forza small review

I’ll say right away that I only took pictures of the car in the parking lot; I couldn’t take pictures while it was moving, all because: firstly, I was driving, and secondly, the salon manager said that it was forbidden to take photographs! But I still collected a lot of photos, and as usual there is a video file.

So it's designed Chinese company Chery, and it’s called Chery A 13. Now a car assembled in Ukraine is being supplied to Russia, I already wrote about this. I won’t repeat myself, but I’ll just remind you that Forza, in Ukraine, is called the Lada killer.

Exterior ZAZ FORZA

While the manager was busy in the salon, looking for the keys and filling out paperwork for a test drive, I took the opportunity to take a photo of the car.

The body looks pretty good, the front part is elongated, the rear part is short and sharply cut off. This is how it is done on sports cars, but call it sports car, the tongue does not turn.

I must say the parts fit together very well, the gaps are even, no distortions were noticed, as is usually the case on Chinese cars. The only thing that personally caught my eye was the protruding plastic wheel rims, not very nice.

But in defense, I will say that the metal is not as toy-like as on former Chinese cars, this is definitely a plus. There are also spot welds quite often, which strengthens the body, which is also a plus. I even climbed into the wheel arches. Here is a photo

The tires are really disappointing, they are hard and from a manufacturer unknown to me. It makes a lot of noise when driving, even not at high speed. So definitely change it. What did you want “Forza” - a very budget car and no one for it expensive tires will not bet, but our review contains only the truth. Here is a photo of the name of the tire. It's called "Solazo".

The nameplates on the rear trunk also bear the name Chery, and not ZAZ as expected.

On the long, slightly slick front end, there were fog lights in front, but there was no radio, why?! Paradox!

In general, the exterior did not leave any negativity, everything was done wisely.

ZAZ interior

The interior is spacious, front and rear passengers they will feel good, their legs will not rest anywhere, accordingly long road It’s not scary, you can sit comfortably.

The front seats are made well, there is even some lateral support. The seat material is two colors, leaves much to be desired, thin, I don’t think it will last long. See for yourself.

The plastic is very hard and inexpensive; when driving, some panels already rattle and this is a new car; crickets also came from the extension of the torpedo, in the area of ​​the handbrake. It feels like there is no sound insulation at all; even with the windows closed, you can clearly hear the road, as well as the engine. The gear shift lever feels good in the hand and has a leatherette cover. As I already wrote, there was no radio, the middle console has three adjustment knobs - the position of the air supply damper, the adjustment of warm and cold air, and the strength of the heater/air conditioner air supply. The steering wheel is made of cheap plastic, but it fits well in the hand. The doors close with a roar, it seems to me that our basins are about the same, they need sizing.

The driver's door has buttons for controlling all power windows, unlocking the trunk and gas filler flap, and also adjusting the mirrors. Not bad!

The trunk is large, considering that it is a liftback, I think carrying large cargo will not be a problem.

Engine and suspension

I'll tell you that the engine has quite a poor traction, pressed the gas and the car accelerates quickly,1.5 l. and power (109 hp).The only thing that seemed to me was that the speeds were a little stretched out, but there are no complaints about the inclusion, the box works at five! Also, the engine is noisy, you can hear everything in the cabin perfectly! The suspension is stiff, on small bumps and rails, and I specifically drove the car to those areas where there were rails, the car shakes, the interior plastic creaks and is friendly with crickets. In general, definitely sizing and fender liners, otherwise it will be impossible to drive.
