Mosgortrans Bureau of Forgotten Things. Forgot (found) things on the bus, trolleybus, tram. How and where to find things lost in transport

Forget TV on the bus! Think of the category of fantasy? But no. And there have been such cases in Khabarovsk, they told us in the control room. This is, of course, an exception. Much more often the townspeople leave glasses, gloves, scarves and ... food in the transport.

“Last year, two men forgot a TV set in the bus,” they told us in the control room of the Khabarovsk interbranch navigation and information center. - Small, in a box. They put it next to the seat, and, apparently, started talking to each other, got off at their stop. Everything worked out, we remembered the loss in a timely manner, contacted us, and we were the carrier. The TV was returned.

And there was also an interesting case on the eve of March 8, dispatchers recall. The man bought his wife a laptop as a gift and safely left it in the bus. He did not remember the side number of the car, but he remembered about the gift for his wife only a few hours later, he called the control room. They say the poor fellow never found his laptop. Some of the passengers most likely found him earlier.

By the way, according to dispatchers, townspeople forget about things in the salons less often, but their number grows unchanged with the onset of autumn and winter. Scarves, gloves, hats, bags with replaceable shoes - forgetful citizens leave them on their seats, and just drop them in the hustle and bustle. In the summer, glasses, books, magazines, children's caps and sandals are in the lead on the list of lost items.

- It happens that food is forgotten. For example, food containers, pies and rolls. A couple of times we found whole bags of groceries in the salon. Apparently, someone was returning home from the store, ”recalls Marina Belenkaya, the conductor of route No. 8. - We usually carry these things with us during the day, suddenly the owner will return. If not, throw it away - the food goes bad.

Meanwhile, in half of the cases, according to the conductors, the owners still manage to find their belongings - they catch up with the bus if they remember the loss immediately or contact the carrier and pick up their luggage in the garage where the bus spends the night. It also happens the other way around, things find their owners. So, according to the dispatchers, if someone's documents and a phone are found in the cabin, they are sure to try to contact the owner or try to find him through social networks. Thus, we have already managed to return several mobile phones.

Nevertheless, most people do not know where to go if they left the necessary thing in public transport - a trolleybus, a bus or a minibus, because there is no general find service in Khabarovsk.

“In general, things forgotten on buses, trams and trolleybuses, if noticed by a conductor or a driver, are handed over to a carrier - a private entrepreneur or to MUP“ GET ”, - explained in the dispatch office. - If something was left in the cabin, you should call the Khabarovsk Interindustry Navigation and Information Center at 91-02-07, tell the route, the side number of the bus and the date of the trip. We will let you know whose route it was, and then the owner will have to contact the carrier on their own and find out about the forgotten thing from him.

You can report items forgotten or found in transport by calling 32-85-02, 45-73-15 and 46-12-45.

However, it happens that forgotten things do not reach the driver or conductor at all. As with a laptop, they can be picked up by another passenger. Then, of course, the chances of finding gloves, a bag or a gadget are minimal. Unless the finder will publish an ad on the Internet. Today there are several thematic groups in different social networks.

  • "I won't give up my passport!" - Rules of deposit at rental points ”, read the material.

Standing at the bus stop, looking after the departing flight and realizing that there are some important things left inside, most people are seized with fear or panic. Especially if there were some values inside. But panic is always the enemy of the right decision.

Therefore, the first thing to do, puzzling over that " what if I left my things on the bus? "- pull yourself together and stop panicking. Most likely, things will simply reach the terminal station, where the driver will find them, handing over to the dispatcher or reporting the fact of loss.

The most obvious option is to catch up with the vehicle at one of the stops or even at the terminal station and pick up forgotten things. However, in this case, there is a risk that someone else will take them. Therefore, even if the bus is still visible in the distance, you need to try to remember its number, and call back the call center of the transport company, describing the situation. In most cases, the problem can be solved at this stage - the dispatcher will contact the driver and inform him about the lost things, which can then be picked up.

What if I forgot things and didn't remember right away?

If it was not immediately possible to remember the loss of things, the chance to return what was lost is much lower. But still not zero. Sometimes, even very valuable things can be returned a day or two after they were lost on the bus. For this you need:

  • immediately after detecting a loss, contact the traffic dispatcher and describe the situation;
  • try to remember the time of the flight, the appearance of the driver, the stop at which things were forgotten, and as many details as possible;
  • the color, make, model, dimensions or number of the bus will greatly speed up the search - all the details that will help the dispatcher understand which flight is being discussed.

Often you will have to go to the transport service depot and write an application for things. And for valuable things, you may also need a document confirming the right to own them (for example, a purchase receipt).

In any case, if you act according to plan and understand, what to do if you left things on the bus, then it will be much easier to recover what was lost.

Khabarovsk

When my boyfriend and I were returning home, I found that I had left my backpack on the bus. At first I was upset because it had a tablet with personal photos, videos and contacts. We decided to follow the bus by car, but we never found it on the route. The traffic police officers who were met at Muravyov-Amursky were advised to immediately go to the bus depot at Bolshaya. There I immediately went into the administrative building, and Vanya began to question the bus drivers in the parking lot. The conductors sat in the lobby, waiting for the end of the work shift. The watchman took me to an office resembling a lost and found office. The woman at the table made an application, immediately called and clarified that there were no items left on our route.

While I was there, conductors came into the office, brought bags, gloves, keys left by someone. I didn’t even know that there was such a “service” and that all things are kept, and not thrown away or taken away for themselves.

I was escorted into the corridor and asked to recognize the conductor of my bus, but my grandma turned out to be quite mischievous and rejected me. As a result, it turned out that the backpack had fallen behind the seat, where it was not visible, and Vanya and the driver found it there. Now I know that there is no need to lose hope and boldly go to the bus depot.

When the conductors finish their shift, they hand over the proceeds and at the same time bring the things they left behind. We do not have a lost property office - lost things can be brought to the cashier or to the dispatch office. People mostly lose wallets with money, documents, glasses and gloves. Depends on the season. In the fall, umbrellas are traditionally left, before the New Year - gifts and even food. But on March 8, no one loses flowers, but they often give them by going on the bus. Children like to forget their sportswear, and after a bath, people often leave brooms, after a polyclinic - medical records. All non-perishable things are stored for a long time. We do not accept products because there is no refrigerator.

When they leave documents with contact information or phone numbers, we always try to call the owners' relatives or their acquaintances, call the hostels and institutes. Once they called my mother in Kamchatka, whose son had forgotten his phone number. Recently, an entrepreneur stopped by, took the belongings and documents of migrants, took them to the mosque, where they found the owners over the speakerphone.

What to do if you left your item on the bus:
1. Save your ticket and remember which bus you took (municipal or private) and its number.
2. Remember the distinguishing features of the loss: it will be asked.
3. Call the bus depot, tram or trolleybus depot (addresses and and phone numbers at the end of the article).
4. Buses run on schedule, so if you have lost your item in the morning, it is better to come during the day. The day shift lasts until 4 pm. Evening - until 9 pm. The latest ends at 1 am.

A couple more tips:
1. Keep your belongings with you and do not put your bags on the seats.
2. If you saw an item left, it is better to tell the conductor right away.

Private carrier

We have both shuttle buses and custom buses. All of them are based in the Southern Fleet. The same route can be used by buses of both municipal and commercial carriers. In this case, there can also be several merchants: 5-7.

If the item was lost not on my bus, then I usually give the phone number of the Transport Department to the callers, where they can contact and describe the car so that they can find it. Often, passengers do not even remember the bus number, but only remember the color or the interior.

Sometimes we find cell phones. We charge the discharged ones, we find in the contacts "Dad" or "Mom". I have already returned two or three phones during my practice.

If the owner of the lost item never called us, we often take forgotten things to the salon and take them for two weeks in the hope that the next day a person will get on the bus and pick up the things. You can always stand at a bus stop, wait for your bus, go in and ask if you have found anything.

In general, things are not particularly lost with us. Lost - called, arrived, took. Every bus has a phone number that you can call us. Luggage is collected either at the base or in the garage where the bus is parked.
