Reviews from Citroen Berlingo First owners

Citroen Berlingo First, 2003

At 46 thousand km the muffler burned out, to my surprise they replaced it under warranty. At 125 thousand I changed the resonator ( middle part). I twisted the nuts myself and purchased the resonator from the Avtomir dealer. The price of the spare part turned out to be 100 rubles. more expensive than ordinary sellers and was in stock. At a price of 2000 rubles. I thought that the difference could be neglected. Also, under warranty, the Citroen Berlingo First's gearbox was replaced (at 99,000 km it began to hum). During the diagnostics they said that the box needs to be changed, the cost is about 2000 euros, wait 2-4 months, when it turned out that there were 300 km left until the end of the warranty, they found a repair kit, they did the car in 2 days and did not take any money. Now I don’t know how long this repair kit will last. At 95,000 the clutch disc was replaced; according to the dealer, this should have been done. I had to pay for the spare part, the work was free (since the car is under warranty).

Advantages : practical.

Flaws : breaks.

Citroen Berlingo First, 2009

The speedometer shows 14,000 km. Third day of spring. We survived the winter and, fortunately, without any problems. Citroen Berlingo First was driven daily and stored in open parking lot. For all the time, there was one malfunction - the piston securing the right front mudguard came off. At the service they showed Jesuitical politeness - “we cannot replace the plastic piston, we can only replace it together with the mudguard.” But this is not all good from the service side. I ran into a pile of snow with the front end and tore off the crankcase protection of the Citroen Berlingo First. Strange defense. I installed a branded, specially steel one. And this steel plate has reduced the front clearance by half, you can even catch pieces of paper lying on the road. But when it was necessary to protect the engine of the Citroen Berlingo, it fell off on its own. So the service charged 1000 rubles for installing this protection. To the naive question - “why?”, the same innocent answer - “I had to straighten”. Straightening consisted of one blow with a hammer on a metal plate. This is how money is forged - one blow - one “mower” (well, at least not “green”) .

This Citroen Berlingo First changed my view of French cars, and in better side. Many people will apparently disagree with me, and it will probably not be the owners of Berlingo. To defend my words, I will give as an example a result from a German magazine that publishes a car reliability rating. There the Berlingo, oddly enough, stands in front of the Audi A6. However, it’s probably not strange, it’s quite simple, designed specifically for the city, and apparently many “children’s” problems have been solved. I would like to say special thanks to the designers of this car for the ergonomics of the driver's seat. For me, the seating position is the most comfortable of all the cars I have previously driven.

Advantages : simple design. Reliability. Available spare parts and consumables. Ergonomics.

Flaws : minor.

I decided to take the Citroen Berlingo First, especially since at that time dealers had them good discounts, but, unfortunately, there was only one equipment everywhere (air conditioning, 1 airbag, rear hinged doors and left sliding). I drove 30,000 km on the Citroen Berlingo First in a year. I am completely satisfied with the machine, despite the rather weak engine. About 12 thousand km were spent traveling around New Riga, so there was time to get used to the weak dynamics at speeds of more than 90 km/h and windage. In general, when driving smoothly with 4 adults and “junk” with a dog in the trunk, the air conditioner turned on (the summer is hot these days), the Citroen Berlingo First maintains its 120 km/h normally, and more - only for careful overtaking.

It’s a shame to complain about the reliability of the Citroen Berlingo First; over the course of a year, only the clock backlight has burned out, but for me this is not critical. In frosts of -30, it started up the first time, and warmed up after a frosty night 7-10 minutes after the start of movement (plus 2-3 minutes to “disperse the oil”). It doesn’t get hot in the heat, the suspension is capacious, it’s never slipped, although I don’t brake to the floor in front of potholes and “police” roads. In general, everything is like most “fellow owners”. “Inexpensive maintenance from a dealer” - this is, in my opinion, 8,000 rubles. for TO-1 and 10,700 rubles. for TO-2, this is not the most low price. More expensive cars may be cheaper, but while it's under warranty, you'll have to endure it. Regarding the uselessness of the left sliding door, I will say this: if there are 2-3 people in the car, then maybe, if more, then it noticeably adds convenience both when getting in and out, and when loading. Next car I will only take it with both sliding ones.

Advantages : reliability. Capacity. Practicality.

Flaws : rather weak motor.

Citroen Berlingo First, 2008

The car is used constantly, long trips of a couple of thousand kilometers are possible. There has never been a single time when a Citroen Berlingo First got stuck on the road and was dragged around on a leash. Lack or complete absence of spare parts, both from officials and in specialized stores, long wait. It’s the same with service - when you hear the word “Citroen”, most people shy away. It is impossible to fold out the front seats, that is, only one person in the back seat can sleep, and even then, he is not very tall; if you fold the rear seats, a flat floor 140 cm long is formed. It is still uncomfortable, you have to sleep hunched over. On long trips, your legs and arms do not get tired; you can travel 1000 km without problems. In terms of cross-country ability, you can give two points on a 5-point scale, since the overhang is large and the front itself is heavy, you can net on ordinary pebbles, I try not to leave the asphalt anywhere. I have no questions about the engine, the suspension itself is more annoying. On the road cruising speed Citroen Berlingo First - 110-120 km, it’s better not to overtake uphill, there are not enough horses. That's the whole story.

Advantages : reliability. Comfort.

Flaws : long wait for spare parts. Patency.

Citroen Berlingo First, 2006

Overall I’m happy with the car, the engine is, of course, strangled, 1.4 with mileage 230 thousand, but the rest is fine, spacious salon and trunk. There is a subwoofer, a large stroller and a stroller can fit in without any problems, plus you can put a bunch of other things in there. The cost of spare parts for Citroen Berlingo First is not much higher than VAZ ones, but some are unimaginably expensive for a car of this class (the heater motor is 9000 non-original, the resistor for it is 2500), I would like to include consumption as a plus, 7-8 liters in the city on 92 gasoline . The car holds the road quite well, the “stern” is adjustable in height, it stands torsion bar suspension. Citroen Berlingo First loaded 800 kg, looks decent. Of the minuses, perhaps - bad noise, not interesting standard music, 2 speakers and 2 tweeters, but everything can be solved, the foggy front window does not blow well. My first problem was the catalyst, which gets clogged over time, the solution to the problem is replacement (10 thousand with work), or punching (1000 rubles, but an increase in fuel consumption by 1-2 liters), it was decided to punch it. The car started breathing again. Then I didn’t change anything except consumables, but at 250 thousand it started leaking steering rack, was replaced with a used one (12 thousand including work), I work on the car all the time, I do “freelancing”, so I wasn’t particularly upset, citing the busy operation and the considerable mileage left by the previous owner. Now Citroen mileage Berlingo First 270 thousand, literally 2000 years ago I did maintenance, went through the entire front suspension, replaced the clutch and gearbox rods, front springs. The spare parts cost 11 thousand, plus the labor cost 6 thousand. Almost immediately after the maintenance the heater whistled and started blowing only at speed four, the problem was fixed in 7000. More problems I don’t observe, I think that all these breakdowns are not systematic, but when choosing a car like this model range I recommend watching with knowledgeable people.

Advantages : spacious interior. Trunk.

Flaws : there were many minor breakdowns.

Finding a single-volume truck that would perfectly cope with the tasks of transporting a group of people and cargo is not an easy task. Basically, many manufacturers produce either family vans or commercial vans, but a middle ground between them is rare. But Citroen has become precisely that rare brand that has launched a car on the market that perfectly combines high utilitarianism and comfort. His name is Berlingo. How has this single-volume truck changed over time and what can it offer its consumer? More on this below.

I generation (1996 - 2002)

Citroen Berlingo became the first for French brand a car that combines practicality and comfort. The single-volume car belongs to the M segment and has a twin brother in the form of the Peugeot Partner.

On the market, the model was available in passenger or cargo version(van with a carrying capacity of 800 kilograms). It is noteworthy that the first generation Citroen Berlingo could boast modest external dimensions. It had a length of only 4 meters 108 millimeters, which made it possible to special labor use it in urban environments.

Depending on the configuration, the equipment of the French monocab included:

  • On-board computer.
  • Automatic activation rear wiper when engaging reverse gear.
  • Heated rearview mirrors.
  • Washer, headlight corrector.
  • Hydraulic power steering.
  • Adjusting the steering column height.
  • Electrically heated front seats.
  • Air conditioner.
  • Airbag for the driver.
  • Immobilizer.

Specifications

The power range consists of gasoline and diesel power units. All of them are equipped with a five-speed manual transmission.

The Citroen Berlingo is based on a front-wheel drive platform. The front suspension is made of the MacPherson type, while the rear is a semi-independent design with torsion bar elements.

I generation. Restyling (2002 - 2012)

The updated Citroen Berlingo differs in appearance from its pre-reform version by a different configuration of the head optics, different wings and a radiator grille. All this made the car more attractive from a design point of view. Inside, the instrument panel has changed, installed new steering wheel and a manual transmission knob.

As for technical reforms, the 1.8 liter unit has disappeared from the petrol engine range. At the same time, a new addition to the diesel family has arrived - a 1.6-liter engine with a power of 75 and 90 horsepower. In addition, instead of a semi-independent beam, a full-fledged “multi-link” appeared, which made it possible to increase comfort and optimize the behavior of the single-box vehicle on the road.

Price policy

On secondary market the price for a Citroen Berlingo starts at 100 thousand rubles. The upper cost limit is fixed at 500 thousand rubles.

Owner review

Citroen Berlingo has become widespread in the market. Therefore, this car has a fairly large army of fans. The latter share their operating experience and impressions about the model in every possible way, which can be useful at the time of its purchase.

The car was purchased second hand with a mileage of 100 thousand kilometers. Equipment ̶ with gasoline engine 1.6 liters. Currently, there are 254 thousand kilometers on the odometer, which allows us to draw objective conclusions about operation.

We need to start with reliability. During all this time I have done the following restoration work:

  • Replaced all shock absorber struts, as well as front stabilizer links and springs.
  • The interior heater was repaired.
  • Replaced the pump and engine radiator.

Now a few words about personal feelings...

Advantages:

  • Spacious interior.
  • Good engine thrust.
  • Soft suspension.

Flaws:

  • Loud noise in the cabin.
  • Poor illumination of the head optics.
  • Great handling.

Despite the solid mileage, the car continues to delight with its reliability and relative comfort. IN soon, I won’t look for an alternative to it...

Test Drive

Appearance

Citroen Berlingo has a neutral appearance. It evokes absolutely no emotion. The front part of the body is designed quite laconically. Head optics lighting matches well with the radiator grille, as well as with the sloping front bumper with integrated fog lights.

The side doors of the French single-volume truck are made sliding, which is very convenient when loading people or luggage in a tight parking lot. The doors luggage compartment̶ hinged and open almost 180 degrees.

Interior decoration

The quality of the finishing materials is expectedly not high - the plastic is hard and rattles when driving over uneven surfaces. However, it is difficult to find fault with the assembly - the gaps between the panels are small and even.

The instrument panel is easy to read due to the gray background and is quite attractive. As for the center console, you can see the trip computer display and the control unit on it climate control system. But there is no standard audio system...

Rideability

The 2.0 liter diesel engine accelerates the Citroen Berlingo quite quickly at medium speeds. However, at low speeds it lacks torque, so starting off is not very convenient. Gear ratios The boxes are selected correctly, however, the “mechanics” themselves are not distinguished by the clarity of switching.

The steering wheel with a long steering rack makes it work actively when maneuvering in the city. The steering wheel is quite informative, but its sensitivity is extremely low. In addition, turns need to be taken more carefully due to the strong diagonal swing. But the suspension handles bumps very gently, ensuring a very smooth ride.

II generation (2008 - 2012)

The new Citroen Berlingo has retained the ideological concept of its predecessor, while becoming more attractive from a consumer point of view. It received a memorable design, a comfortable interior, and new platform.

The list of model equipment includes:

  • Airbags for driver and front passenger.
  • Adjustment of the steering column in two planes.
  • Active power steering.
  • On-board computer.
  • Air conditioner.
  • Fog lights.
  • Front electric windows.
  • Electrically adjustable and heated side view mirrors.
  • Pants audio system with the ability to read CDs.

For an additional fee you can order:

  • Climate control.
  • Panoramic roof.
  • system directional stability(ESP).
  • Rain sensor.
  • Light sensor.
  • Side airbags.
  • Cruise control.
  • Parking assistance system.
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel.
  • Rear electric windows.
  • Audio system with AUX connector and Bluetooth.
  • Heated front seats.

For lovers active rest Citroen has prepared the Berlingo with the Multispace prefix. This car differs from the usual modification by pseudo-metallic bumper covers, a side body kit made of black plastic and other bumpers. In order to travel to Berlingo Multispace by bad roads increased ground clearance and more efficient springs were installed, as well as a self-locking differential.

Specifications

The range of Citroen Berlingo II engines, as before, consists of gasoline and diesel units HDi family. They are mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

Citroen Berlingo is based on the PSA platform under the symbol PF2. The front suspension is McPherson, the rear is a semi-independent beam.

II generation. Restyling (2012 - 2015)

The updated Citroen Berlingo has undergone minor changes in appearance. Namely, he received LED running lights, new light alloy wheels, different bumpers. Redesigned inside instrument panel, improved quality of finishing materials.

Turbodiesel power power plant 1.6 liters increased to 115 forces. In addition, the power steering has been recalibrated to improve handling.

II generation. Restyling 2 (2015 - present)

The next modernization changed the configuration of the headlights and bumpers. The interior became more functional and also acquired a modified multimedia unit with three-dimensional navigation maps and the ability to read various video and audio files.

From a technical point of view, it is worth noting the final transition of the 2017 Citroen Berlingo model year to the completely new EMP2 platform. The power range remained the same, while diesel modification as an alternative to the “mechanics” it received a robotic transmission with six gears.

Market price

The minimum price for a used Citroen Berlingo II is 280 thousand rubles. The new one-volume car is estimated at 1 million 239 thousand rubles.

Owner review

The Internet contains a lot of information on the operation of Citroen Berlingo II generation. Among them are reviews about the car that may be useful to a potential buyer of the model.

Citroen made its way for purely utilitarian tasks - transporting a large family. At the time of purchase, the mileage was just over 20 thousand kilometers, and I added another 25 thousand kilometers to this number.

During the entire period of operation, Berlingo did not fail, and even at a relatively very coldy(-25 degrees) started up properly. I had the option at my disposal with diesel engine 1.6 liters (90 horsepower). Regarding the dynamics, I am completely satisfied with this engine, because in the city its thrust is enough for the eyes. Diesel fuel consumption is also quite affordable - about 10.5 liters in the combined cycle.

The suspension is soft, which the family really likes, especially when traveling long distances. But I didn’t like the handling - the car was too rolly. Also, I didn’t like the way the standard audio system reproduced sound - it lacked detail.

Test Drive

Exterior

Citroen Berlingo II looks attractive (adjusted for the fact that it is still a utilitarian one-box car). It is worth noting the laconic front bumper with integrated LED running lights and fog lights, a chrome-plated double brand chevron, as well as large head optics.

Large glazing area provides good review on the sides, and the presence of roof rails makes it possible to transport long items and large luggage.

Interior

The interior is assembled with high quality and is quite ergonomic. However, the abundance of hard plastic does not allow you to forget about budget segment, which features the Citroen Berlingo.

The instrument panel with amber backlight is perfectly readable under any conditions and is informative. As for the central console, it is worth noting its somewhat monumental architecture and the presence of a color display navigation system. The head unit has an AUX connector and Bluetooth support.

The driver's seat is set high. Its adjustment ranges are extensive, so a person of any size can get behind the wheel. The back row is organized in the form of three separate seats. They can accommodate three large passengers up to 190 centimeters tall. If we talk about the luggage compartment, its volume is 675 liters, which, again, is not small.

Rideability

Citroen Berlingo with turbodiesel engine 1.6 liters is best option, which combines acceptable dynamics as well as efficiency. The engine pulls confidently with almost idle speed, while at medium speeds it pleases with a pronounced pick-up. Mechanical transmission It has a close gear row - this helps with intense acceleration and allows you to keep the engine in good shape, however, the gearbox lever is upset by its amplitude strokes and low clarity of gear changes.

You don't have to expect much from handling - the effort on the steering wheel is insignificant, and its sensitivity is not high. In addition, when cornering, you can notice high rolls, so it’s better not to drive this car actively.

But the suspension forgives a lot. Its high energy intensity makes it possible to drive over even large bumps at high speed, without feeling strong shocks and vibrations.

What is the conclusion? The Citroen Berlingo is ideal for utilitarian and family purposes. It is roomy, comfortable and affordable. There are no particular disadvantages (relative to competitors) recorded, which makes it an advantageous offer for a wide audience of consumers.

June 10, 2009 → mileage 46,200 km

First opus.

Good afternoon everyone!

Finally I decided to describe my feelings and all sorts of different thoughts about the car, otherwise I read reviews on the site regularly, but have not written anything yet.

So - Citroen Berlingo 1.4 Multispace, purchased in August 2007, metallic blue color, rich equipment - air conditioning, power accessories (heated front seats, mirrors, electric windows, right mirror), left sliding door, two pillows and a very convenient storage box passenger seat, branded roof rack.

I think we need to describe a little the process of choosing a car - why Berlingo?

I use a car for work and at home (dacha), and mainly for work - I work in an exhibition and publishing company with all the attendant features: delivery of copies, check-in and check-out from exhibitions, etc. The loads are small, but quite heavy. Before Berlingo there were two fours, each ran almost 140 thousand. In general, they more or less coped, but I wanted a more comfortable car (I’m probably getting old, and I had money). Minivans and heels were previously considered as candidates. Minivans were eliminated quickly - based on price and reviews, including those on this site. I looked at three cars live - Berlingo, Kangu (Renault), Keddy (Volkswagen). Moreover, they managed to persuade Berlingo and Keddie to give them a test drive. As a result of the comparison, I took the pose of Buridan’s donkey - all cars have their advantages and no less their disadvantages. The big discount from the dealer at that time swayed the Berlingo in favor - the Caddy in a similar configuration was much more expensive, and the Kangu was, although a little cheaper, but its interior was very rustic. A little more to choose from - initially the 1.6 engine was planned, but after a test drive and a heart-to-heart conversation with the car dealership manager, I took the 1.4 and have no regrets. In the city, and I drive mainly around Moscow, the engine is enough even with a load, outside the city my wife does not allow me to accelerate faster than 120 ;) Seriously, if you drive a lot outside the city, you should take a 1.6 engine, but with it the car will be very more expensive, also because this configuration comes with mandatory, expensive options (ESP, etc.).

I turn to the actual story about the life of the car.

For almost two years and 46,200 km, no breakdowns and warranty cases did not have. I mean NONE! The only force majeure occurred entirely through my fault - in Serpukhov I refueled at a “bad” gas station, and near Podolsk the engine fault light came on. The result is that the lambda probe (oxygen sensor) has failed. This happened right before TO-30000, during the TO they changed the sensor and at the same time the spark plugs - the only unplanned expense for the entire time. Scheduled maintenance occurs every 15,000 km - all filters are changed (oil, air, fuel, cabin), oil (oil, by the way, is expensive - TOTAL QUARTZ synthetics), the front pads were changed for TO-45000, the rear drum is still standing and standing. After the warranty expires (2 years or 100,000 km), I’m thinking of leaving the officials - their work is expensive, and routine work can be done anywhere. By the way, about the warranty - ALL parts and assemblies that may fail during normal operation of the machine are not covered by the warranty. I'm not kidding - if you have a chance, check out the list of Citroen's NOT warranty cases! Naturally, the sensor and spark plugs were not covered under warranty. If only I knew that the car was trouble-free, it would be under warranty and official service

scored because I bought not on credit, but for cash. At city speeds the car is quite quiet, but standard tires

The salon is VERY spacious - I declare this with knowledge of the matter (my own dimensions are 190 height and 105 weight), average people sit behind me quite freely. In terms of transformation, the interior is good, but there are some peculiarities. The rear seats fold down and stand upright, but the front seats have to be pushed forward. If the height is not like mine, then everything is fine, but it’s inconvenient for me. So I just try to fold it. The visibility is excellent - there is a lot of glass, mirrors like a truck, the wiper on the rear liftgate clears most of the window. But! The operating algorithm of this very same wiper has me stumped! It does NOT have continuous operation! ONLY pause and 5 moves with watering! Therefore, when heavy rain You have to stupidly turn it on and off manually! Let's move on. I turned off the headlight washers right away - it was of no use. By the way, the car comes with a clear description and a diagram of the fuse blocks.

The seats are hard, hold well, and the heating works as it should. The only remark is that given my height, the pillow is a little short and the back puts a little pressure on the lower back during a long ride (I got spoiled after the four). The rear seats are only suitable for short trips - the cushion is thin, the backrest is almost vertical. Heating and ventilation are good in front - on rear seats things are worse. There is an air duct running along the floor to the rear seats, but the air barely blows from it (at the service center they looked at it and said that everything is in order, like this is a feature), so in winter the feet of the people in the back get cold at first, then the whole cabin warms up and the complaints subside. The interior warms up very quickly in winter; the rotating deflectors are very convenient. For those who smoke, this is a non-smoking car! There are NO ashtrays in the car! None. There is a portable glass with a lid (I only understood its purpose from a hint from the manager in the salon).

Regarding the transportation of cargo - I didn’t have to load more than 400 - 450 kg, I carry long items on the top trunk (standard load capacity is 100 kg), I consider the trunk a necessary thing and did not save money on it. The paint is soft and scratches easily, but that’s probably why there are no chips, even though stones hit it. I recommend covering the lower part of the bumpers and sills with anti-gravel, not because the paint will peel off, but because the front bumper hangs low (this is generally the lowest point) and will definitely hit the curb. As for the music, I don’t recommend taking the standard one either for the sound or for the price. You can deliver much better for less money. One subtlety - the speakers in regular places The doors must be thin (50-60 mm), otherwise the glass will touch.

About the engine, gearbox, brakes - the engine is high-torque and low-speed, there is no point in turning more than 4500 rpm - there is a lot of noise, there is little sense. The gears change easily, but the travel is long. You will have to get used to the brakes - the pedal is very light and at first it scared the neighbors downstream with sharp braking. The engine's oil consumption is minimal - you don't have to add anything between maintenance. The interior is well assembled - the plastic is durable (tested!), the gaps are even, it does not creak or wobble. On the Multispace version, the door handles, air vents, and gear knob are painted with aluminum-like paint - it will peel off on the doors and the gear knob.

➖ Quality of finishing materials

Advantages and disadvantages of Citroen Berlingo Multispace identified based on reviews real owners. More detailed pros and cons of Citroen Berlingo Multispace 1.6 120 hp. gasoline and diesel with mechanics and front-wheel drive can be found in the stories below:

Owner reviews

To say that we are satisfied is to say nothing. The car is comfortable for the driver to get into: no problem, 38 hours behind the wheel with a partner, only your hands get numb. A child or an adult, if desired, can sleep horizontally in the car, at full height, between the rear seats, if the middle one is removed (optional).

The car is spacious, and sliding doors for children and elderly people in city parking lots are more convenient than standard ones, since they won’t accidentally hit someone nearby. standing cars. The rear window in the trunk was used for long cargo.

We didn’t transport pallets, we didn’t put extreme loads on the car. The machine is used in a gentle mode. Prices for spare parts are normal. Gasoline consumption of the 95 is 8.2-9.2 liters per 100 km, depending on the mode and driving style.

Review of Citroen Berlingo 1.6 (120 hp) manual transmission 2012

Video review

Advantages of the car:

Very good review.
+ Very good informative mirrors.
+ Comfortable seating position (after 10 hours of driving your back doesn’t get stiff).
+ Low consumption(mixed cycle, without stomping the heel to the floor, but periodically with a full trunk and bicycles on the roof) - 7.2 liters of the 95th. When fully loaded (5 people + full trunk) - 8.1 liters.
+ Relatively high ground clearance.
+ Long travel suspension.
+ A large number of glove compartments in the car.
+ Sliding doors help out when parking is tight.
+ All seats can be easily removed without tools, creating incredible luggage space.
+ Very nice steering with fairly good feedback.
+ The car behaves well on rutted roads (it doesn’t yaw or creep).

Flaws:

Front bumper with a long front overhang, you have to put up with it as a necessary evil front wheel drive, but its height... the lower part of the bumper is filled with emptiness... As a result, all the bumps are collected by the bumper.
— The French were freezing in 1812, and they are also freezing in 2015. More precisely passengers, because the stove is outrageously weak. B -30 rear passengers you will have to freeze, even with maximum heater power.
- Bad dynamics.
— Blowing rear seats I perceive it as a mockery: it has no connection with the stove, but takes air above the driver’s head and blows it onto the passengers - an absolutely unviable design.
— Very easily soiled light plastic (easy to stain).
— Suspension too soft.
— Plastic roof (for configuration with skylights). Don't get caught! I found out about this when I tried to install an antenna on a magnet.
Windshield collects all the dirt and all the midges, but this is a tribute to the forms.

Victor Andreevich, review of Citroen Berlingo 1.6 MT 2013.

A universal car for all occasions. I use it for myself. Convenient to operate. The EP6 engine from BMW is very nimble for a displacement of 1.6 and a power of 120 hp.

This is a spacious, comfortable, versatile car, which in the X-TR modification also has an off-road body kit, reinforced suspension and a 1 cm higher ground clearance. For two years, not a single breakdown.

The car requires additional sound insulation, takes a long time to warm up, is underestimated as passenger car for the driver.

Andrey drives a 2014 manual Berlingo 1.6

The car handles well even at high speed; at 130 km/h it goes like it’s on rails, although there is no strong crosswind. Ergonomics are very good, already in basic configuration steering column adjustable in height and reach.

The only negative is that my configuration does not have an armrest on the driver's seat, expensive versions he is. But there is no central tunnel; you can move from the first to the second row without leaving the cabin. Unfortunately, the finishing is dominated by cheap plastic.

The car turned out to be very convenient for travel. The body is wide and high, with enough space for three passengers in the rear. If you are traveling as a couple, you don’t need a tent or a hotel - there is enough space in the cabin to arrange comfortable sleeping places.

With the second row seats folded, the volume luggage compartment is 3,000 l. The car is also good as a truck; even with a full load, the suspension retains sufficient energy capacity, and the ground clearance is high.

I also like the fact that of this car There are a lot of compartments for small items, everything can be put in its place. The car is light easy to control and manoeuvrable, turning radius similar to compact hatchback. The seating position is high, like a crossover, and thanks to this and the large mirrors, visibility is very good.

The machine has proven to be quite reliable in operation. Since the purchase, I have driven 35,000 km; the only breakdown was that the thermostat had to be replaced. Another drawback that emerged in winter is that the engine takes a long time to warm up and the heater is not efficient enough. Perhaps I will install an additional heater.

Robert, review of Citroen Berlingo 1.6 (120 hp) with manual 2014

Citroen Berlingo 2016 model year was presented at car exhibition 2015 in Geneva. The new product is a restyling of the second generation French minivan, distinguishes it from its predecessor new optics, which looks more modern and a modified bumper; in particular, the designers worked on the shape of the air intake.
