But the interior ... Is it really a Korean car?

Specialists from Hyundai told me that during the development new Elantra stylists unanimously abandoned the former Asian ornateness - and heatedly argued over whose school of interior design to choose, American or European. But I did not wait for the familiar characteristic breakdowns of the suspension even on a rocky country road near Sochi in the area of ​​Olympic Krasnaya Polyana. I did not test the car with the previous base 1.6 MPI engine of the Gamma series, but under the hood of the "older" version, the place of the 150-horsepower 1.8 unit was taken by the two-liter Nu series engine - which was derated from 155 hp. up to the same taxable 150 forces.

In Sochi, I traveled on a two-liter modification with an "automatic". There is order with comfort and smoothness of switching, and if you are in no hurry, then there is enough dynamics.
